We are looking to recruit an IT Infrastructure Specialist to work within the Infrastructure team to develop, maintain and support the global IT Infrastructure supporting 12000 staff and 100+ locations.

This position entails support and development of the company’s global infrastructure. Key components include, servers, the wide area and local networks, Wifi, Windows desktop, unified communications and cloud (M365, Azure AD, OneDrive, Azure Arc, EndPoint Manager and Defender ATP). Focusing on the user experience and security.

You will be required to proactively improve, optimise, converge, and develop the infrastructure with future capacity in mind, managing multiple projects and responsibilities. You will be required to provide advice and guidance on maintaining the cloud, server, network and security environments, to plan and instigate hardware and software upgrades as required, and to ensure that planned processes have been completed satisfactorily.

SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Job Description

Principal Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Monitor, support and maintain the global on-premise and cloud infrastructures.

Manage the ongoing global migration from on-premise IT infrastructure into a cloud managed environment.

Develop, manage, and implement infrastructure projects to deliver business wide initiatives.

Respond to 2nd / 3rd line Help Desk calls and manage such items through to resolution and other regular support activities and provide technical cover and mentoring.

Perform regular preventative maintenance checks, check logs and servers to ensure they are properly patched and implement corrective actions to resolve any issues.

Manage the security and integrity of data and IT systems. Educating staff on good working practices.

Management of external suppliers and support agencies for the ongoing support and maintenance of the global infrastructure environment.

Take ownership to ensure that all work and changes are performed in such a way as to minimise all disruption to existing business use.

Be proactive in designing and documenting infrastructure processes, procedures, and standards and to maintain or prepare system and software documentation as directed.

To ensure that technology is used, managed, and supported in accordance with Turner & Townsend standards, policies, and procedures.

Establish working guidelines and document processes for the design and management of the networked applications across the business.

Work with the Global IT team and collaborate on any global initiatives and rollouts.

Manage the technical aspects of office moves and changes.

Testing and rolling out updates to software with a particular emphasis on security updates.

Ensuring that adequate backups of data are kept both on and off site and that backup and restore processes are regularly tested.

Duties will vary and be revised due to the nature of the IT environment (above is a guide and not a comprehensive list of responsibilities).

Qualifications

Essential Skills:

Enterprise working knowledge and support of the Microsoft 365 environment and Admin centre (Microsoft cloud technologies, M365, AzureAD, Defender ATP, EndPoint Manager, OneDrive, etc).

Excellent understanding of Microsoft Technologies, Windows Servers (2012, 2016 & 2019) Active Directory and Group Policies.

Comprehensive Experience with VMWare, vCentre, & ESXi.

Good understanding of Storage, SAN, NAS & Backup Technologies.

All round IT infrastructure specialist with at least 3 years hands-on experience.

Additional Desirables:

Hands-on experience of installing, supporting and managing NetApp Storage solutions.

Azure cloud landing zones, networking & automation.

Extensive knowledge of IP, WAN, LAN (HPE servers & Aruba Switches) & Wifi Networking, specifically Aruba.

Experience of Druva Cloud, Veritas Backup Exec and Veeam Backup technologies .

Working knowledge of the Microsoft EndPoint Management solutions (Defender, InTune,) etc.

Implementation and management of Active Directory/Group Policy management within a corporate environment.

Management of Zabbix & SolarWinds Patch Manager.

Previous experience of working in an IT project environment, with active involvement within a managed project.

Implementation and management of web technologies, for example IIS, .NET, SSL-VPN, token authentication, etc.

Previous experience of IT integration projects covering email environment, file access, domain membership & user migration.

Good working knowledge of firewall and security technologies.

Core Behavioural Skills:

Confident individual with good interpersonal skills, able to deal with people at all levels and communicate to users in a clear, non-technical language.

Analytically minded, able to break down and understand information.

Must be comfortable with working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.

Strongly customer-focused, used to providing support to demanding users.

Good organisational skills, used to managing and prioritising own workload.

Ability to report on progress, timescales, outstanding and completed activities.

The Role:

The Talent and Capability (T&C) Partner is responsible for partnering with their local and regional People Partners in the Middle East & Africa (MEA ) to implement talent solutions, practices, and processes that support the achievement of business priorities. They also work alongside the global Talent and Capability (T&C) team to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-wide talent solutions.

Responsibilities:

The T&C Partner is responsible to: 

Partner with local and regional people partners and business leaders to understand business priorities and translate these into talent requirement

Communicate local and regional needs into the global T&C team and contribute to the development of the global talent roadmap.

Based on local and global priorities, the T&C partner is responsible to work with the People Partner to develop a talent plan for their specific remit. This includes understanding what local needs are not addressed through the global talent offering and working with Global T&C team to propose how they can be supported

Communicate the global and local talent plan and priorities with their people team, leaders and employees so they understand how their needs will be met

Work with the people teams to implement the delivery of talent processes

Identify opportunities to pilot new initiatives either from Global T&C team, or if needed, local programs that may then be turned into global solutions for others to use

Contribute to, or at times co-lead the design of global talent initiatives to ensure they are fit-for-purpose and will be relevant for local/regional needs

Working with the Global T&C team and local people team, develop implementation and change plans to support the rollout of talent programs

Bring new ideas and contribute to shaping the Global T&C agenda and priorities 

Experience and Skills:

Able to connect business challenges with T&C solutions – ability to provide advice and guidance by asking questions and clarifying needs

Experience that touches on several areas of T&C such as learning, talent development, talent identification processes, succession planning, program design, leadership, DEI, graduate development, performance or engagement

Able to deliver talent processes with impact and relevance to the business

Experience in facilitating programs to support the development of teams and individuals

Use of talent and development tools such as DISC, insights

Able to lead and/or contribute to co-design of programs including best practice, research, project planning, vendor partnership, change, communication impact and connecting program and needs

Project implementation and co-ordination including organizing training logistics, communicating to facilitators, attendees, and internal stakeholders, reporting on key programs

Experience working in a matrixed organization supporting and balancing local/regional needs and global initiatives

Strong advisory and influencing skills, and experience in providing solutions to people challenges through the use of talent actions 

Strong collaboration skills working across teams and colleagues to deliver outcomes

Your Opportunity

Sidel is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager who will manage existing customers and develop new customers within a defined territory and/or business area in order to deliver budgeted sales and margins for complete Sidel portfolio, with a focus on equipment sales. He / She will provide customers with win-win solutions which meet their needs and are in the best interests of Sidel, thus enabling Sidel to achieve its Balanced Score Card and regional objectives.

Your Mission

Accountable for meeting budgeted sales and margins for the assigned territory/business area.

Manage existing customers and develop new accounts within assigned territory/business area.

Establish strong relationships with customers by building a network of contacts within their organization

Identify market potential for assigned territory/business area and develop strategic and tactical sales plans accordingly.

Develop customer needs analysis

Negotiate and issue price lists

Present quotes in line with commercial policy

Maintain and clean up-to-date sales pipeline in CEP

Manage Master agreement contract process from beginning to end

Oversee the execution of the project and maintain customer contact

Initiate product development strategies (short and long term) through the Product Development Plan

Represent Sidel at events/conferences/seminars when applicable and network with trade and sales organizations in the industry.

Define and implement territory/business area strategy to meet equipment sales and margins objectives

Contribute to PDP strategy as needed

Contribute to pricing strategy for assigned territory/business area

Contribute to communication strategy for the assigned territory/business area (high level of involvement in communication events)

Your Profile

Education Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor Degree or equivalent

Proficient with Microsoft Office products for use in a sales management environment

Languages requirements: English. Arabic and any other language will be a plus.

Sales management experience; excellent negotiation skills

Minimum 5 years experience in capital equipment sales and territory/business area management, particularly in the packaging and/or rigid plastic industry

Good communication and presentation skills

Action Orientated

Ability to travel (>50%)

Managing and measuring Work

Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

Customer oriented
