This is your chance to join a top global team advising technology clients on a broad range of cross border transactional matters including M&A (public and private ), joint ventures, corporate restructurings, private equity, venture capital transactions and general corporate advisory work. You will be part of a busy and diverse team spanning 7 offices across the Middle East working on transactions across the MENA region.
As a full service firm in the Middle East, your role will also include working closely with our other award winning practices areas on a broad range of matters.
ABOUT YOU
We do not set upper or lower limits of PQE for any of our vacancies. We have however given an indicative PQE as an approximate guide for applicants. Candidates who have between 3 and 6 years’ PQE are likely to have the right level of knowledge and have gained the right level of experience needed to be able to undertake this role.
Experience with venture capital and tech private equity transactions
Experience with M&A transactions across a range of sectors
Proven track record of leading deals and negotiations and able to take ownership of matters and run with them
Commercially astute and stays current on key legal and business news
Excellent skills in communication, client relations, and team-working
Provides a professional, quality service in a timely manner, and responds effectively to requests from internal and external clients
Recognises and seizes opportunities for the firm, including repeat business
Builds and develops own network of internal and external contacts
Awareness of business development initiatives in the department and identifies ways to contribute
Maintains a controlled, objective and flexible approach under pressure
Proactive and innovative.
Russain language skills would be helpful
Experience working across the Middle East and/or with emerging markets would be helpful but not essential
Experience of regional investment
