Medical Representative, Doha, Qatar

JOB PURPOSE:

Planning and conducting appointments with doctors and medical professionals to promote Hikma products with the aim to achieve the overall sales target while monitoring competitor’s activities and threats. Following up on and reviewing Hikma products’ performance within the market through clients’ responses and other indicators.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Planning and conducting daily visits to healthcare professionals to promote assigned products, disseminate product information and convey company messages to achieve monthly sales target.

Assessing patients and doctors needs to strongly position the benefits of the brands.

Utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis to deliver brands value proposition in alignment with marketing messages.

Maintaining strong disease and product knowledge in assigned therapy area.

Conducting conferences and lectures on Hikma products while developing contacts effectively.

Building trustful relationships with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen Hikma’s image.

Monitoring and analyzing data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage.

Reviewing sales performance and developing Marketing plans to achieve objectives.

Documenting all sales related activities performed in a timely manner.

Generating the needed reports including business intelligence reports, market survey reports, competitors’ activities report, events feedback reports.

Collating accurate and prompt basic sales information and entering them on the CRM system daily to be revised by the Sales Supervisor.

Managing properly company’s resources and insure working within the SOPs and compliance framework.

Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.

 

QUALIFICATIONS :

B.Sc. degree in Pharmacy or equivalent

 

EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 3 years of related experience is required.

Injectables and / or oncology experience is prefered.  

Residency & driving license in Qatar are must.

We need a Clinical Nurse- Pediatrics Emergency Department

JOB SUMMARY

The Clinical Nurse is responsible for competently providing safe and effective direct care. The Clinical Nurse assesses care needs, plans, implements and evaluates programs of care to include patients and families. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard, aligned to Sidra Standards of Practice. The Clinical Nurse participates in the supervision, orientation and training of staff and is responsible for education of patients, families and students. The Clinical Nurse is professionally accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Job Specific Skills and Abilities:

ESSENTIAL:

• Effective communication skills
• Excellent team player
• Motivated and enthusiastic
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Fluency in written and spoken English

Population: Neonate, infant, toddler, pre-school age, school age, adolescent, young adults

Care environment: Care of assigned population in an urgent care/emergency/trauma care setting

KEY COMPETENCIES:

Competencies to be assessed as outlined in the Pediatric ED unit orientation and competency booklets. These competencies include but are not limited to:

• Growth and development, Birth - adult
• Head-to-toe assessment, recognition of the unwell child
• IV fluid management
• Phlebotomy
• Capillary blood sampling
• Specimen collection
• Care planning
• Emergency medication preparation and administration
• Nutritional requirements and enteral Feeding
• Pain assessment and management
• Risk screening and management
• Skin integrity
• Wound assessment and management
• Cardiorespiratory monitoring
• Care of the acute trauma patient
• Procedural sedation
• Tissue adhesive wound closure
• Nurse-Initiated medication administration
• Triage using the Emergency Severity Index system
• Splinting
• Tissue adhesive wound closure
• Staple removal
• Suture removal
• Accessing central line
• Incubator, radiant warmer and infant resuscitation system use
• Phototherapy care and management
• Hemodynamic monitoring Invasive and Non-invasive
• Airway management and oxygen delivery system
• Cardiac Electrical Management (i.e. Defibrillation, Pacing, Cardioversion, AED, etc.)

A Brief Overview
The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by a NP/PA as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws:

What you will do

• Initiates and maintains positive relationships w/pts/customers (10%)
• Initiates and maintains positive relationships w/co-workers (10%)
• Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment (10%)
• Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values (10%)
• Performs patient assessment and assigns diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research (20%)
• Establishes plan of care and implements interventions in accordance w/carepaths, protocols, and standards of care and current research (15%)
• Collaborates w/other health care providers in an interdisciplinary approach to provide care to the patient and family (5%)
• Contributes to the educational development of staff, patients, family and self (5%)
• Demonstrates progressive leadership and effective management (5%)
• Provides education through role modeling and in-services to meet identified learning needs and to promote professionalism (5%)
• Advances own professional development through self-directed learning, continuing education and participation in peer review (5%)

Qualifications

Education Qualifications

• (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing, or
• Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program

Experience Qualifications

• 1+ years as a NP or PA Preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrated leadership skills. (Required proficiency)
• Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. (Required proficiency)
• Must have computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. (Required proficiency)

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio, and
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the State of Ohio, or
• Current Physician Assistant (PA) in the State of Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
