Primary Objective

This position is permanently assigned to the projects with a proven track record of the initiation of meaningful project control in a multi projects environment.

The responsibilities of this position revolve around:

Manpower planning
Cost estimating
Project Management Plan preparation
Client financial approvals documentation
Cost control engineering
Project scheduling
Change management
Corporate and Client cost and schedule progress reporting.
Managing the document control system
Risk management reviews

Specific accountabilities

You are expected to assure provision of full project controls such as planning/scheduling, estimation, cost control services for the assigned projects
You will be required to prepare and issue a comprehensive Monthly Project Progress Report with requisite analysis of status.
You will be responsible for the provision of reports required under the contract.
You are required to ensure that the assigned projects are executed per the approved PMP's with respect to man-hours, cost, and quality, scope of work and time schedule.
You will be tasked with identifying areas of concern with respect to progress of assigned projects and recommending the corrective action wherever required.
You will be responsible for identification and recruitment of project controls personnel.
Implementation of suitable systems, processes, tools, and procedures.

Functional management

You are responsible for sourcing, development and mentoring of project controls specialists.
You will hold custodianship of project controls systems, processes and tools.
You are responsible for reviewing, auditing and improving project controls activities on specific projects
You will be required to demonstrate the project controls capability in the areas of cost control and scheduling to existing and potential clients (business development)
You are expected to be directly involved in execution of key projects which includes Proposal preparation, Team coaching & sponsorship

Personality

You are an individual who is self-motivated, proactive, and works well with a team.
You will be seen as the Subject matter specialist for the resolution of issues arising across all areas of the job and be able to clearly explain complex processes that surround the role.
We expect you to ensure the integrity of the work scope and that all work is carried-out in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

Preferred Qualification(s) and/or Experience :

You will possess an engineering degree from an accredited college or university. This is an essential contractual requirement.
You must have work experience within PMC projects in the above-mentioned industries.
You will have experience working with advanced engineering tools, data systems & other general office / engineering software will be given first preference.
You will have the ability to interact effectively with people of all nationalities & cultures while using clear, fluent, and expressive verbal and written language to convey information and ideas. An individual with excellent communication and people skills, a consummate developer of relationship(s) on a sustainable and long-term basis.
You will have broad based knowledge of the requirements for process engineering through all phases of project life cycle, from FEED through to Commissioning, within Oil & Gas or related industries.
You will demonstrate an ability to lead/coach/mentor colleagues and/or staff.
You will have the ability to work under tight time constraints with excellent time management and planning skills as well as manage multiple priorities.
You will be willing to engage and manage clients as required by the needs of the business and if deemed necessary by the Worley management.

We need an Associate Electrical Engineer

Job Overview

The Associate Electrical Engineer is responsible for utilizing existing Electrical procedures to solve routine or standard problems. They receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others within the team and will leverage their conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures related to Electrical and Engineering.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Be familiar with the Company procedures, work instructions, guidelines, and standards for work to be performed and asked guidance where required
Perform detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on basic engineering tasks
Apply knowledge and skills to complete routine assignments under the close supervision and mentoring of an experienced engineer
Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses, including design reports and procedures
Organize own work to meet deadlines set by others
Communicate information, asking questions, and checking for understanding
Gain an understanding of the project scope of work, specifications, schedule, and all inter-discipline requirements
Perform calculations for the power distribution system
Produce consumer lists from available equipment data
Make sizing calculations of electrical equipment and components
Populate electrical items in electrical databases like SPEL
Make electrical one-line diagrams
Prepare sketches of detailed design to guide Designers
Requisition and specify simple bulk materials, including TBE and SDR
Check drawings
Keep the Lead Engineer apprised of all activities, progress, and concerns
Develop an awareness of costs related to own work
Develop a basic understanding of MDR's business and the customers it serves
Develop basic knowledge of MDR's business units and interactions, including engineering and fabrication
Develop advanced skills in the use of standard productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Reports to:
Project: Lead Engineer
Functional: Supervising Department Manager
Liaise With: Engineers, Design Supervisors and Designers of their own discipline

Essential Qualifications and Education

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering
0-3 years experience in oil and gas
Learning the content and application of standards, codes, and guidelines as applicable
Learning design techniques and analysis methods
Preferably a Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) or a member of a professional engineering society

Manage valuations, cost control, and reporting, ensuring financial integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

Champion sustainability and net zero carbon transition, embedding best practice and lessons learned into project delivery.

You’ll need to have:

Degree in quantity surveying or cost management, or equivalent qualification.
Professional membership (MRICS/RICS) with demonstrable ongoing development.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven bidding and business development expertise.
Detailed knowledge of contracts, value engineering, sustainability, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

The Project Quality Lead is responsible for development of the Quality Program and accountable for the independent surveillance and audit of the project for compliance with procedures and requirements, as well as the documentation of compliance and corrective actions. The Project Quality Lead performs these activities independent of the design/project/construction group responsible for the work.
The Project Quality Lead works closely with the Portfolio Delivery Manager and advises him of the status of quality-related activities.
The Project Quality Lead assists the Portfolio Delivery Manager in the maintenance and updating of the Contract Project Quality Plan and other quality related project documents. As directed by the Portfolio Delivery Manager, the Project Quality Lead will perform other quality related audits and surveys.
Responsible for Quality Management System compliance and system improvement activities
Support Goal Zero No Defect objectives and participate in HSE and Quality activities as defined in the CONTRACT HSE Plan and Quality Plan.
Accountable for Project quality plan implementation
Accountable for the overall company MRF process for projects,
Establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system.
Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system such as fishbone, Root cause analysis, Five Why, also good tools
Development of project specific Project Quality Plans for the new projects in the QPH based on associated risk and activities.
Interface with Engineering and Procurement team to ensure specific quality requirements are incorporated in all relevant documents, approved by relevant authorities, and transferred to manufactures and implementation contractor Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
Accountable for the overall performance of the audit program, and oversight on quality engineers responsible for the audit program.
Responsible for Analyse failure, and accountable for corrective and preventive action and to respond to company on identified non-conformities, failures, and complaints Manage quality, business, and engineering documentation, for the CONTRACTOR organization
Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the overall activities of receiving / outgoing quality functions.
Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
Responsible for Manage and report suppliers’/contractor performance and make recommendations for improvements through the entire supply chain process
Develop processes and procedures that enhance or assure quality, align with the business strategy, and project objectives
Support implementation of DCAF for recognised disciplines and support TA assignment
Support departmental and project specific risk management through identification of risks, implementation of mitigation plans.
Support implementation ‘fit for purpose’ PCAP development on individual projects.
Accountable for Project KPI, leading and lagging indicator identification, relevant to the portfolio as well as individual projects.
Accountable for MRF procedure preparation and implementation of MRF process.
Accountable for Quality resource planning and coordinate for on time deployment.
Accountable for coordination and implementation of all inspections at manufacturer facility, including implementation of Remote Inspection. Responsible for Third Party Inspection management.
Quality Lead shall be accountable for establishment of MRF process
Quality Lead shall be responsible for ensuring product NCR (Non-Conformance Reporting) and Observations are updated in company SQI
Quality Lead shall be responsible for compliance of Material Certification requirements.
Quality Lead shall be responsible for ensuring vendor document deliverable requirements and vendor document schedule are complying project requirements.
Quality Lead shall ensure vendor inspection and release process are complying to project requirement and shall manage the completion of material release.
Quality Lead shall be responsible to ensure management of Documented information and Records are maintained, retrained and retrieved in accordance with contract, company, and regulatory requirements.

BSc. University in relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, welding, material, process etc.)
Minimum 15 years' experience in Oil and Gas Industry
Minimum 10 years' experience in Brown Field Oil and Gas related project delivery
Minimum 5 years' experience in Brown Field Oil and Gas Project Delivery as a Umbrella Contract Quality Lead
Flawless Project Delivery Experience
Experience with interfacing with other disciplines, i.e. electrical, process, rotating mechanical, civil, static mechanical and technical
