Job Description

The Assistant Vice President – Property Insurance is responsible for leading and overseeing Property underwriting operations, managing strategic broker and client relationships, ensuring disciplined risk selection, and achieving sustainable portfolio growth in line with the company’s underwriting guidelines and market strategy.

What you will do

Underwriting & Risk Management

• Lead underwriting of large and complex Property risks, ensuring adherence to approved underwriting guidelines and risk appetite.
• Oversee technical evaluation of risks including high‑value commercial, industrial, and Strata portfolios.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and sustainability of underwriting decisions across the team.

Portfolio & Revenue Management

• Drive achievement of departmental revenue targets while maintaining profitable growth.
• Monitor portfolio performance, loss experience, pricing adequacy, and accumulation exposure.
• Balance growth opportunities with disciplined risk selection in a competitive market environment.

Broker & Client Relationship Management

• Manage and service key broker relationships, including major MNC and regional brokers.
• Act as a senior point of contact for strategic and complex accounts requiring high‑level engagement.
• Support retention and expansion of key accounts through technical credibility and market insight.

Leadership & Team Management

• Provide leadership and technical direction to the underwriting team.
• Align team objectives with departmental and organizational goals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and compliance.

Strategy & Process Improvement

• Develop and implement underwriting and risk management objectives aligned with market developments.
• Optimize resource utilization to achieve underwriting and operational efficiency.
• Support enhancement of underwriting processes, controls, and KPIs.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure underwriting practices comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and reinsurance obligations.
• Support management in presenting complex or out‑of‑authority risks for senior approval where required.

Required Skills to be successful

• Extensive experience in Property / Fire underwriting within the UAE. Regional market experience will be an added qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge of complex commercial and industrial risks.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management capability.
• Deep understanding of broker‑driven markets and reinsurance structures.

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in:
• • Insurance
  • Risk Management
  • Engineering
  • Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
    (Engineering background is considered as strong advantage for property underwriting)

• Professional Insurance Qualifications (considered as added qualification)

  One or more of the following:

  • ACII / FCII – Chartered Insurance Institute (UK)
  • ANZIIF (Senior Associate / Fellow)
  • CPCU – Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter
  • Dip CII / Cert CII
  • Other recognized insurance or reinsurance qualifications

Work Experience:

Minimum – 5 to 8 years in Core Underwriting Experience including minimum 5 years regional experience

What you'll be doing

The Director Leasing KSA will manage property acquisition, development, negotiation and commercial terms agreement activities, while ensuring that projects align with the Group’s strategic goals. Please note this role is based in Riyadh.

• The Director will lead a team, drive project execution, manage budgets, & ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Oversee property development projects from initial concept through completion. This includes sourcing new locations in line with the commercial team’s growth objectives as well as optimizing the group’s existing real estate portfolio.

• Coordinate closely with internal business teams, JV GM/Directors, architects, contractors, and various stakeholders on all aspects of real estate, from leasing all the way through opening.

• Lead the negotiation of lease terms with Mall developers, in line with Group Legal direction, prevailing business guidelines, budgets, and any other conditions required by the business.

• Coordinate feasibility studies and market research to inform project decisions.

• Ensure all projects comply with the business requirements and legal standards.

• Monitor project milestones and adapt strategies as necessary.

• Prepare and present update project reports to senior management.

• Maintain regular meetings with external partners and internal stakeholders to closely monitor the business.

• Work closely with the internal Legal team to adhere to real estate laws and regulations.

• Contribute to management of comprehensive legal documentation and records within the Retail Property Development platforms.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Arabic speaker required.

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in retail property development and leasing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.

• Must currently be based in Saudi Arabia, or worked there in the last 3 years.

• Must have a well developed network of Landlords based in Saudi Arabia.

• Stakeholder management skills and ability to build core industry networks.

• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple real estate projects simultaneously.

• Solid understanding of the commercial aspects within Real Estate leasing.

• Highly numerical and analytical.

Manager - Real Estate, Dubai, UAE

ROLE SUMMARY

The Manager - Real Estate is responsible for managing leasing and lease administration activities related to subleases within MAF Retail business, coordinating with retailers/tenants, operations, finance and legal. The role holder is also responsible for market research, tenant prospecting, leasing negotiations, lease contract process management, tenant performance monitoring and lease renewal process, as per Leasing Committee.

 

ROLE PROFILE

Manage leasing and lease administration projects within Retail Shopping Malls, Carrefour hypermarkets and supermarkets for subletting of retail shops and services.

As per LC recommendations, conduct tenant presentation and negotiations, to finalize deals with approved tenant activity and leasing rates, achieve above budgeted leasing incomes.

Prepare ePAR (lease approval by management) and issue of lease agreement for the tenant - shops in coordination with legal department, and ensuring timely tenant agreement signatures.

Manage with Country finance departments for tenant rent collection process as per the lease agreement payment conditions, schedules. Ensure finance department follow-up with tenant.

Perform market research, field studies, etc. to develop clear understanding of local retail and mall industry, leasing conditions & practices, customer and competitor/mall information.

Prepare and maintain the tenant master database of local and international concepts/brands of prospective tenants for all types of activity (incl. food, fashion, health & beauty, kiosks).

Participate in industry conventions, training programs/certifications, etc. to build and improve knowledge base and latest trends in leasing, retail industry and shopping malls.

Develop and propose effective leasing strategies to optimise revenue generation (through fixed and casual leasing, marketing, alternative income) and targeted occupancy rates.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

Overall 7+ years of professional work experience with 3 years in a managerial position.

Experience in shopping mall leasing, with exposure to retail real estate projects, is highly required.

Legal background is essential (knowledge of agreements, terms & conditions).

Good negotiation skills.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Listing Administrator to manage and support the creation, maintenance, and coordination of property or product listings. The Listing Administrator will ensure all listings are accurate, compliant, and published on time across multiple platforms while supporting the sales or operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, update, and manage listings across designated platforms
• Ensure all listing information is accurate, complete, and compliant with company and regulatory standards
• Coordinate with agents, sales teams, photographers, and marketing staff to gather listing details
• Upload and manage photos, videos, descriptions, pricing, and documentation
• Track listing statuses, updates, expirations, and renewals

Qualifications and Skills
