Senior Data Engineer, Riyadh, KSA

Key Responsibilities

Tabby is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help build and evolve its core data platform, combining modern data warehouse capabilities with internal data services such as a Feature Store. You will work across DWH, streaming, and data services domains to power analytics, ML, and operational use cases across the company.

You will join a high-impact, high-growth environment and collaborate with world-class engineers, analysts, and ML teams to design and deliver scalable data solutions that are deeply integrated into Tabby's products and internal tools.

What you’ll bring

3–5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, ML Engineer, or Backend Engineer working on data-intensive systems.

Proven experience in DWH development and maintenance for business users, analysts, and ML engineers.

Strong background in designing and operating high-load, scalable data processing and storage systems.

Solid understanding of data architecture patterns such as Kimball, Inmon, Medallion, and Data Mesh.

Hands-on experience with data modeling concepts: SCD forms, normal forms, star schema, Data Vault.

Proficiency in Python following best practices for clean, testable, and maintainable code.

Advanced SQL skills and best practices for working with large datasets and complex transformations.

Familiarity with system design best practices for distributed data platforms and services.

Experience with modern data stack tools such as Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and Google Cloud Platform.

Experience with event-driven systems and streaming pipelines, including tools like Debezium and message brokers/queues.

Strong communication skills in English (B2 level or higher) and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.

What you’ll bring:

Design, build, and maintain Tabby’s corporate data warehouse to support business users, analysts, and ML engineers.

Develop and evolve internal data services such as a Feature Store and other high-impact data products.

Build and operate robust EL/ELT/ETL pipelines for both batch and streaming use cases.

Integrate new tools and practices for data processing, storage, governance, and data quality across the platform.

Implement and maintain reliable data synchronization between internal and external systems.

Design and support high-load, scalable data processing and storage solutions, ensuring performance and reliability.

Contribute to the architecture of the data platform, including technology choices and system design decisions.

Optimize infrastructure and data workflows with a focus on cost efficiency in the cloud.

Collaborate closely with analytics, risk, and ML teams to understand data needs and deliver high-quality datasets and services.

Nice to have

Experience with REST and gRPC APIs as well as message brokers and queues for integrating data services.

Experience with modern systems of data storage: relational, MPP, and NoSQL databases.

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and its data services.

GO development experience for building high-performance data services.

We need a Sharepoint Developer

Development via SharePoint 2010 and 2013 SharePoint/.Net Developer is needed to be part of busy, capable development team. You will be working on a variety of development projects including custom websites, web applications, developing workflows. You will have a strong background in SharePoint 2010 & 2013, C#/.NET, and MSSQL. You will be working on a mixture of projects some high profile.

Plan, design and implement SharePoint technology with the rest of SharePoint project team;
Take part in the process of determining application and site specifications to provide technical advice in terms of feasibility of management ideas;
Build SharePoint sites, master pages and Web Parts through SharePoint Designer or other Web development application needs according to specifications provided and design approved by SharePoint project team;
Build new SharePoint features and solutions and edit built-in SharePoint features and solutions needs according to specifications provided by SharePoint project team;
Ensure that solutions provided fit into the pre-defined screen margins to improve the end-user browsing experience;
Develop site navigation according to recommendations from SharePoint project team;

Develop applications and build scripts to automate and simplify SharePoint routine tasks;
Audit and review the existing SharePoint environment and work closely with Site Managers to improve the appearance and layout of Section sites;
Manage SharePoint Content Databases through SQL Management Studio;
Provide input and recommendations for high availability and disaster recovery planning;
Assist SharePoint administrators with SQL related issues, including troubleshooting issues or generating queries;
Assist SharePoint administrators with setting up Reporting Services for SharePoint and building reports using Report Builder

Desired Skills and Experience

Strong knowledge and understanding in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2010, knowledge in SharePoint Server 2013 is a plus.
Workflow Developments.
Strong knowledge in Client-Object Model implementation
3 - 5 years experience with ASP.NET Development.

Experience in developing and maintaining Web services and multi-threading.
Experience of building and maintaining application using object oriented methodology.
Great communication and customer service skills.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS

Responsible for the development, architecture, and implementation of both front-end and back-end development processes, Data analysis, and reporting. The position will require taking conceptions to final product, which requires good organizational skills and attention to detail. Solutions will be deployed on various platforms in an automated, secure, and efficient manner, adopting Agile and DevSecOps practices.

The position will bridge the gap between application development and data-driven decision-making, contributing to the success of innovative projects that require both technical and analytical prowess.

Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to application development and data analytics.

Provide support for production issues and ensure timely problem resolution.

Provides assistance/support/training to end users on all applications and troubleshoot application related issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable core business applications, including application servers, associated hardware, endpoints, API’s and databases.

Development of Data and CI/CD Pipelines in coordination with Infrastructure and Security.

Develop and implement data models to support business intelligence and reporting needs.

Address security requirements and potential vulnerabilities

Create visually compelling and informative dashboards to communicate complex data trends.

Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process.

Work with relational databases to store, retrieve, and manipulate data. Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity and security.

Integrate data from various sources, ensuring seamless and accurate data flow. Implement data transformation and cleansing processes to maintain data quality.

Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed.

Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms.

Perform design, implementation, and upgrades of information systems to meet business and user needs

Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance.

Liaise with external suppliers to secure IT products and services.

Conduct regular research on contemporary IT practices, particularly those related to systems administration and management. Recommends subsequent actions.

Minimum Professional Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Systems or Electronics & Telecommunication

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the design, development, and end-to-end implementation of business applications.

Strong experience in DevSecOps practices and application development using technologies such as .NET, React, Python, Node.js, Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform tools, SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL database management systems.

Experience working with Microsoft Azure services including PaaS, IaaS, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Hands-on experience with cloud deployments using Kubernetes, Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, and Docker containers.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric data platform, including pipelines, dataflows, and Eventhouse

For Mobile Development: Experience developing Hybrid Mobile Applications, preferably with Flutter
