NAS Dubai is a purpose built ‘flagship school’ generously resourced with a whole school enrolment of over 2860. This equates to 1620 in the primary school and 1240 in the secondary school. Our curriculum is based upon the legacy of the English National Curriculum adapted to the local environment leading up to GCSE at KS4 and on to the IB Diploma programme and A Levels at KS5. About the role
- Invoicing and Billing
- Payment Processing
- Collections Management: Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging to ensure timely collection by issuing periodic reminders.
- Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions related to accounts receivable. Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and provide updates to the Finance Manager/Controller.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues related to accounts receivable.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with school policies, relevant regulations, and accounting principles.
About you
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Or holder of relevant degree and part qualified
- 5-7 years and above experience with proven ability in an accounting role with VAT experience essential
- Well versed with IFRS and general accounting procedures
- Advanced experience in accountancy software products such as MS Navision, and MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- The ability to work to tight deadlines, and the ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy
- Past experience in school environment
- Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with non-finance members as well as finance members of school and regional team
- Advanced excel skills for report generation and analysis of high volume of data
- Excellent communication skills to negotiate with external stakeholders on commercial contracts and transactions

This is a full-time position, starting from 1st June 2024 or earlier. Remuneration is competitive and it includes visa provision.
