Project Description
A business analyst job purpose is to analyze and document the market environment, processes, or systems of businesses. This includes creating detailed business analysis for Open Account Trade Products, budgeting and forecasting, planning and monitoring, variance analysis, pricing, reporting and defining business requirements for stakeholders.
Business analyst facilitates the translation of business requirements into solution requirements and follow through during product development and testing to assess and validate that the developed technology and digital solutions are meeting business, product and customers' requirements
Responsibilities
-Responsibility of owning the design and artifact of Open Account Trade products
-Responsibility of BRD documentation and UAT specifications
-Responsivity for product quality and quality of deliverables.
-Working closely with Product Management, Operations, Technology, User experience, sales and other stakeholders and within a global team. Being well aware of the regional and international developments in the Open Account Trade industry and with strong connections within the industry ecosystem.
-Understanding business objectives, and strategic plans with high capability to comprehend the organization's goals and problems to be solved.
-Defining and documenting customer business functions and processes.
-Domain expert in the Supply Chain Finance market, passionate about translating visions into solutions and contributing to a continuous cutting-edge business and organization customer experience.
-Identifying, defining and documenting business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements and levels of systems access after consulting with functional unit management and personnel.
-Analyzing the practicability of and developing requirements for new systems and upgrades to existing systems.
-Ensuring the system design is perfectly aligned with the needs of the users
-Participating in user acceptance testing and undertaking functional testing of new systems.
-Assisting business and product intent meetings and coaching technical and non-business staff on the product intent, business requirements and value to customers.
-Developing a training curriculum and conducting formal training sessions covering assigned product module.
-Acting as a team lead on designated projects or assignments and providing work direction to one or more technical or clerical staff.
-Demonstrate the ability to manage stakeholders across functions
-Skilled in reviewing SIT, UAT test cases and ensuring all positive and negative functional and non-functional scenarios are covered
-Able to guide the business on value-added changes and avoid non-value-added changes with focus on business process transformation
-Work closely with Product Owner and Business stakeholders to identify the prioritized backlog items and expand the required user stories in an incremental deliverable
-Write BRDs and user stories and contribute to squad ceremonies
-Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering
Skills
Must have
-Minimum 7+ years of experience in the Transaction Banking industry, Open Account Trade Products, and 10+ experience in banking.
- Domain experience in Supply Chain Finance and Receivables Finance.
-Domain expert in the Supply Chain Finance market, passionate about translating visions into solutions and contributing to a continuous cutting-edge business and organization customer experience.
-Analytical and Critical Thinking, Negotiation and Cost-Benefit Analysis, Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Team Player, Structure and planning
-Agile and entrepreneur mindset.
-UI/UX and Customer experience understanding.
-Skilled in MS Office applications word, excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Jira, Azure DevOps or equivalent, Confluence/Sharepoint/Teams tools
Nice to have
Certified Scrum master or other BA certification(like CBAP, AAC, PBA or similar) with experience on agile practices.
