Rejlers International Engineering Solutions AB operates in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and delivers high-quality engineering and project services to Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, and Chemical Industries mainly in UAE and other Arabian Gulf Countries. We are now looking for Lead Engineer, Static Equipment to execute projects and support bids in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Reports To
The Lead Engineer, Static Equipment, reports to the Head of Discipline, Mechanical & Layout.
Responsibilities and Duties
Interact with the project engineering manager for solving technical problems arising during project development.
Interact with the project engineering manager for solving technical problems arising during project development.
Ability to review Client's technical documentation and requirements.
Conduct Static Equipment Engineering activities for projects, from initial concept definition phase through engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning.
Create, develop and review work-scopes for projects and other engineering activities. Ensure that the work-scopes are comprehensive and clear.

Review and approve method statements created by contracted organizations for scope compliance. Liaise with contracted organizations to resolve technical issues.
Understand the interface within multi-discipline project
Should take full responsibility of proper and timely execution of project deliverable ensuring full compliance with quality management system and any project specific contractual requirements.
Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines and project management teams.
Coordinate within members of mechanical discipline, other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team as well as with Clients, third parties, vendors etc.
Participates in progress review meetings and be aware of project status, progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned and close-out.
Ability to prepare documents for mechanical related workshops and actively participate in same
Assumes responsibility for cost, schedule, material quantity and budget control
Takes personal responsibility for safety and a healthy environment on the projects
Is able to produce proposals for projects which involve man hour and schedule estimates for mechanical discipline
Should be able to add value plus/ optimization ideas
Cooperating with other engineering disciplines, customers and subcontractors locally or overseas
Technical Bid Evaluations of selected Vendor Offers
Prepare of specifications, data sheets and other information covering Static equipment and system packages
Technical writing activities, in particular, production of technical reports and operating manuals.
Specialized expertise with Static equipment, specifically chemical injection packages, test separators packages, slug catcher packages, flow lines manifolds, instrument air packages, production and test separators, crude oil column stabilizer, heat exchangers, air coolers, KO. drums, flare stacks and glycol package equipment, pig-traps and pig launchers, storage tanks
Specialized expertise in the specification for, evaluation of and documentation of Static equipment packages.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Energy and Environmental objectives.
Qualifications
Engineering Graduate (BEng, BSc. or MSc.) in Mechanical or Technical related degree.
Minimum 15+ years experience in FEED, PMC, Detail design EPC Engineering and design, Procurement and EPCM.
Sound knowledge of codes ASME /API/ASTM/EN/PD5500 and working experience with ADNOC project
Worked in GDU package /Air cooler API 661 /API tanks 650 /620 and pressure vessel with following equipment design is minimum.
- Separator and internals.
- Fire Water Tank
- Export Gas KOD.
- Pig Launcher and receiver.
- Export Gas Compressor Package.( 1st & 2nd stage Air Cooler /1st & 2nd stage Suction Drum )
- Gas Dehydration package.( Glycol Contactor Inlet KOD/ Glycol Contactor)
- TEG Regeneration Package
- Vapor Recovery Ejector Package
- Elevated Potable Water Storage Tank (GRP/FRP Code BS EN 13923, DEP.31.22.30.14)
- Closed Drain Drum
Preparation of below documents is minimum.
- Project specification according client specification
- Data sheet.
- Need list/Technical queries.
- Project documents as per the VDR
Willingness to overcome challenges and pressure during the peak of the project.
Coordination with sub-vendor, client and inter discipline.
Handle the job independently in line with team members.
UAE local experience is added value.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Team player, hardworking, problem solver and have a can-do attitude
