 The chief financial officer position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. The CFO will have 

primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial- related activities of the company, this include the effective management and the operations of Warehouse to ensure effective and realistic warehouse inventory stock level with minimum cost.
Screening of new projects, defining project description & scope and conducting feasibility studies to determine the financial viability of new ventures projecting cash flow & growth opportunities.

Takes an active role in the executive team of the company with regard to strategic planning and corporate level decision-making. Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
 Develop and implement a risk management policy and ensure timely placement of insurance program.
 Ensure credibility, timely and accurate of financial information and management reporting data, including analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts. Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
 Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting, manage cash flow planning process
 Oversee treasury activities and maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities provide recommendations on potential returns and risks and maintaining relationships with the banks
 Manage and provide leadership the Material and Warehouse to ensure that it operates at the most optimum level in terms of cost to the company, while ensuring that stock items are adequate for the smooth operations of the company
 Lead and manage regular audits through Continuous Inventory Verification (CIV), safeguard the warehouse operations and contents by leading and establishing a robust security and safety procedures and protocols

Requirements

Bachelor degree in accounting / finance (or equivalent) preferably a qualified accountant or a Master degree holder.
CErntifications
MNC exp
 Minimum of 12 years’ working experience in corporate accounts and/or finance.
 At least three (5) years in managerial/head of function role.

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization.     To be successful as a Senior Accountant, you should have a solid working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and strong financial analysis skills.     Main Responsibilities

    • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile general ledger and  accounts payable.
    • Records the Invoices and processes the payments on the due date.
    • Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
    • Preparing monthly financial analyses and reports.
    • Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
    • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger balances

    Ideal Candidate

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.

      • Write test and Commissioning procedures for non-railway systems (SCADA, COM) to be executed by Transit System team

    Objectives / main activities

      • The creation of Test and Commissioning procedures
      • Troubleshooting complex anomalies
      • The execution and coordination of such tests with subsystems
      • Support the Set up the T&C program, the progress and the associated reporting
      • Contribute to make sure that the adequate priorities of the testing activity is maintain
      • The co-ordination of necessary means for the realisation of the system tests, being understood that each Segment or Partner provides the staff entitled to intervene on his own software / hardware
      • Contribute to the follow-up of the NCR as from the factory tests of each Segment or Partner until the resolution of all the malfunctions
      • Contribute to the follow-up of the configuration in the system test phase on site and / or on test track. Relation with customers and other contractors, under the authority of the Project Director, for all the aspects concerning the test systems on site and / or on test tracks
      • Make sure that EHS targets are maintain to a very high standard, especially during energization and dynamic testing.

    KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:    

      • Minimum 10 years of experience including minimum of 5 years of railway, 2 years turnkey
      • Broad Knowledge of railway systems, operating requirements, available equipment and systems.
      • Broad knowledge of the technical management tools, calculation and simulation methods.
      • Capacity to work in Team, Critical Faculty, Analysis / Syntheses.
      • Leadership, initiative and decision minded

    • Must demonstrate his/her experience in respect of the evaluation of the technical proposals and its constructibility, technology deployment, solving the technical problems that may arise during construction;
    • Experience must include all Health & Safety and Environmental Protection aspects of the construction and operation of deep underground structures works.
    • It is an essential requirement to have previous experience in managing similar large scale open cut and micro tunneling surface & groundwater networks under Design & Build projects undertaken within the city.
    • Experience in Progress management and Project Control is a must.

    GENERAL:

    • Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills;
    • Strong leadership quality to lead and motivate a team of Site Engineers and Inspectors as Supervisor Consultant in a Design & Build project environment;
    • Proactive acumen and an ability to manage work at multiple areas on site are essential;
    • Computer skills are mandatory.
