Job Description

Job Purpose / Role Overview:


To be responsible for creating, delivering and measuring the performance of all marketing collateral, including e-newsletters, social media, publications, and website content. To support in brand management. To build an impactful portfolio of creativity, including photos, info graphics and memes. To work with staff across the organization to support their work with individual work stream audiences.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities


Creating varied campaigns ranging from print to digital elements.

Assisting with the sourcing of the right brand assets from the Brand Library for events and marketing material.

Collaborate with marketing department on the design requests according to the engagement agenda to maintain high-quality output on all designs within agreed timelines set by the Line Manager for best results and to adhere to organization’s Branding Guidelines.

Creating design production timelines liaising with teams across the organization and executing the production timelines to deliver final print and digital artwork.

Working with external designers, illustrators, creative agencies and other third-party suppliers as appropriate.

Responsible for the design recommendations.

Roles and Responsibilities


Manage and coordinate the design and documentation of in-house and consultant-designed landscape packages.

Coordinate with various project team members to ensure smooth project progress.

Maintain constant coordination with in-house resources to keep landscape design work on track throughout the project.

Coordinate with Design Manager and other disciplines for design document approvals.

Ensure design compliance to DAMAC standards for landscape development.  In the absence of relevant company standards, ensure compliance with local and international standards, guidelines and best practices.

Coordinate with budget and cost control teams in delivering packages in line with management direction and budgets.

Provide support to commercial team in tendering and review of offers for landscape-specific packages.

Maintain awareness of industry trends, methodologies, tools and best practices in landscape design, planning and construction.

Adapt and adopt good practices for continuous improvement.


Experience and Qualifications : 


12+ years of experience. 

Masters or Bachelors in Architecture or Landscape Architecture.

To oversee the implementation of asset management strategies, policies, and programs for the portfolio of selected International Assets to achieve optimal return on investment, target profitability, operational excellence and maximize asset performance, in line with the overall business strategy.


Job Specific Accountabilities


Asset Management


Conduct analyses contribute to the development and implementation of asset management strategies, policies, operational improvement initiatives, merger and acquisition activity or legal issues.


Ensure asset’s management compliance to the optimum operating conditions in coordination with the Local management, HoldCo and relevant stakeholders 


Drive business-planning activities from asset management perspective (short-term and long-term planning) including strategy and objectives setting, annual budget development, and corporate performance measures setting.


Understand and review of financial models to evaluate impact on investments returns on proposed exercises such as PWPA extension, refinancing, LTSA negotiations, or any critical matter requiring shareholders participation.


Work with the management of International assets to establish and maintain a risk register for each individual and for the fleet, including identifying and evaluating risks as well as proposing mitigation actions.


Conduct benchmarking analysis to identify gaps vs best practices and promote action plans to capture untapped performance potential and value.


Ensure forecasting is up to date and financial and production information is used correctly in internal reporting.


Review and report on the asset’s business strength and performance indicators; monitor the impact on cash flow and financial resources and ensure that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified.


Monitor the progress of the projects measured against the project plan. Monitor and report on the asset’s business strength and performance indicators; Monitor commercial model to be able to understand key risks, impacts on asset value, cash flow forecasts and financial resources and ensure that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified.


Manage and execute the analysis and resolution of issues derived from the financial performance of the specific projects to be aware of costs and financial KPI’s associated with the projects.


Oversee and understand the financial management of contracts and agreements of the asset and their related obligations to manage and control the assets effectively and in the best interests of HoldCo.


Oversee and monitor the progress of the projects measured against the project plan and develop lessons learnt, to ensure compliance with set standards and agreements and manage any delays with projects.


Oversee the coordination of activities related to sites under construction, including test energy production, substantial completion milestones, and commercial operation declaration.


Drive and review analysis and provide information to contract negotiations during development, operational improvement initiatives, merger and acquisition activity or legal issues.


Oversee and contribute to conducting research and identify opportunities in market rules, market regulations, and power marketing operations for client assets.Endorse hiring of key positions of given international asset.


Coordinate and monitors external consultants’ work and progress


Flexibility to travel to ensure, if required, appropriate level of engagement on-site.


New Opportunities


Identify and ensure that potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon to facilitate achievement of organizational objectives.


Identify required enhancements to existing projects and evaluate project economics and cash flows for new opportunities, including sensitivity analysis of different scenarios their selections methods and the alternative execution options.


Provide subject matter expertise on review/evaluation of asset expansion and modification, as well as asset optimization.


Evaluate, identify, and secure the optimum market position and prices for  assets including analysis of alternative tariff, different pricing arrangements, product and feedstock market assessments and development of pricing forecasts and future economic scenarios based on ground realities.


 


Collaboration


Work with management of the portfolio companies to prepare recommendation to HQ senior management on any financial/contractual/commercial/strategic matter.


Support the development of strong relationships with strategic partners and all relevant external/internal entities with highest standards of business ethics, in-order to improve business outcomes whilst protecting HoldCo’s business interests.


Collaborate with finance business partners to achieve strategic KPIs on commercial and revenue management.


Manage the identification of operational synergies on investments to optimize cost and performance.


Manage and execute as needed in the writing, formatting, processing, and timely execution of reports to ensure proper books and records of operating assets

Job Specific Accountabilities


Identifying Business Development Opportunities


Lead and direct the market screening for all organic and inorganic growth opportunities such as M&A, Joint Ventures or other BD opportunities across and outside the UAE and the conducting of due diligence in coordination with internal teams, to support strategic decision making.

Ensure the establishment of plans, budgets, policies, processes and governance framework for all approved initiatives within the assigned function in order to drive successful project delivery.

Develop and implement a clear roadmap for business development processes for investor targeting, investment propositions assessment and modelling in order to have consistent approaches and procedures throughout investment attraction and ensure business growth.

Lead and direct the setting of the division’s investment strategy in line with projected value and market trends, ensuring they are delivered in accordance with NewCo’s strategy.

Lead and direct the definition of the agenda for research on investment projects and ensure they are relevant to the organization’s goals, whilst exploring the opportunities contributing to the sustainable business development.

Lead the investment propositions assessment reports in order to advise executive management on investments’ techno-economic feasibility and business risks for decision-making support.

Together with the senior leadership, establish alliances with key stakeholders and investment partners on revenue plans and targets in order to drive the overall corporate strategy and facilitate the achievement of the business plan.

Participate in the development and submission of investment plan memorandum to the investment committees, finance and strategy departments to discuss projects and initiatives’ viability with subject matter expertise to support recommendations.

Drive the development and maintenance of effective key business relationships with all relevant external/internal entities and all sections with the highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner.     


Business Development Administration


Oversee the development of investment dossiers, projects and initiatives identification and prioritization plans, to increase alignment and focus of management and business units around execution goals and processes.

Business Development Excellence


Direct and oversee the effective management of the business development budget and monitor financial performance ensuring the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly.

Lead and direct the process of the review and study of current investments value return and investment performance and identify performance success and gaps (if any) to incorporate and consider in future investment plans.
