Assistant Vice President – IT Strategic Planning and Governance- ALDAR
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for developing and maintaining IT Strategic Plans, governance framework, IT policies, budgets and service level agreements
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and update Aldar IT strategy and strategic plans including the objectives, KPIs, priorities and principles, in collaboration with the Aldar entities and key stakeholders
Develop and maintain Aldar DT governance framework, processes, policies, and procedures, in compliance with Aldar Group standards
Monitor the IT SLAs to ensure the quality of service, compliance with enterprise standards, end-user satisfaction, and analyze identified issues to feed into improvement initiatives
Manage utilization of Aldar IT budget through ongoing monitoring and analysis, and advise on the corrective course of actions to tackle any variances
Conduct periodical reviews for Aldar DT strategy, evaluate the progress, and advise on action plans and corrective actions to rectify any deviations
Monitor the implementation of identified strategic initiatives and objectives, ensuring minimal risk
Forecast demand based on the business requirements for platforms and applications to ensure optimal utilization of resources
Define and maintain the Delegation of Authority for Aldar IT Services
Oversee and manage the IT commercial contracts and licensing agreements with strategic partners for the group entities
Maintain Aldar IT’s vendor database and create a classification framework and continuously update it based on vendors performance, size, and other factors of importance
Set, negotiate, and manage service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors and the internal service providers
Manage end-to-end vendors performance in collaboration with the related entities by proactive monitoring of vendors performance and entities satisfaction
Support setting up of the governance committees and ensure their operations at the scheduled frequency

RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Min of: 6+ years of experience in the fields of IT Strategy and Governance,
YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION
Min of: N/A
FIELD OF EXPERIENCE
Private sector, consulting, with real-estate background preferred.
TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Knowledge of IT Strategic planning, governance frameworks such as CoBIT, ITIL
Prior experience of working in a large diversified group in a similar role
Excellent leadership abilities and management skills with a proven record of strategic planning, scope, change management, and budget and resource management
Good conflict resolution skills, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in computer science or engineering
