Job Purpose

To oversee all aspects of dnata Cargo Terminal Operations at Dubai International Airport & DWC to ensure the departments contractual obligations are delivered to the concerned stakeholders (customer airlines, freight forwarding companies, private companies, government departments) while controlling capital, income and expense budget.


Job Outline:

Plan

- Develops the broad functional strategy and ensures it is cascaded down to the departments in Cargo Operations

- Ensures that departmental strategies and related strategic plans are developed and implemented

- Oversees the implementation of Cargo?s policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls to ensure procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.

- Manages the preparation and consolidation of Cargo?s budgets and monitors financial performance versus the budget.

- Develop and ensures implementation of highest standard of customer service to the carriers, private companies and cargo agents who use Cargo Terminal Services controlling the efficient delivery of Cargo products

- Builds and maintains relationships and close contact with company departments, airport agencies to ensure strict coordination and understanding of changing policies, systems and procedures

Lead

- Leads with Safety by ensuring that decisions are made with safety in mind, role models safety behaviours and holds direct reports accountable for fulfilling their roles in line with the safety vision.

- Ensures the compliance of all relevant safety policies, procedures and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude

- Ensures the achievement of Cargo's objectives through the leadership of Cargo by setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal to maximise departmental performance.

- Ensures that the top performers are recognised for high performance and the low performers are identified and have required development plans in place

- Manages change through continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices

- Builds and maintains relationships with customers (internally and externally) to ensure that maximum customer satisfaction and optimum profit for dnata

- Ensures that product quality within Quality Management System is in line with the Quality Standard ISO 9001

- Ensures that principal requirements are met within the scope of the agreed exceptions to the GHA or standard practices/conditions of carriage

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree

- Experience in airfreight and cargo handling industry.

- Expert knowledge in Cargo Operations

- Advanced knowledge in cargo handling systems, equipment and computer applications

- Advanced understanding of Cargo Regulatory requirements and Freight regulations

- Advanced knowledge of all Airline/Cargo Agent Communication and Control Systems used in the aviation industry

Job Purpose

Technical Product Owners (TPO) are the front door to the engineering teams, feeding team backlogs with work spread across feature, function, non functional (NFR), BAU, Technical Debt, spikes, and ceremonies. As a result, the TPO has to constantly juggle and prioritise the different types of work flowing into the team, making decisions in alignment with other TPO's, and ensuring they meet the objectives of the Program Increment (PI) The TPO acts as a voice of the customer/stakeholder, ensuring value is at the core of everything they do, and ensuring sufficient measurement can be achieved post delivery. Working closely with the Technical Product Managers and Technical Product Owners, the TPO consumes details of the prioritised Features, and translates them into the decomposed story definition for their teams.


Job Outline


- Responsible for the story content, acceptance criteria definition, and end story `sign off' across team backlogs, ensuring prepared on time for future PI's, refined frequently with the entire team, and prioritised accordingly in alignment with other team backlogs


- Ensures Technical Debt and NFR's are captured, refined, and prioritised across all sprints


- Captures additional BAU, Ceremony, and Spike activities, and incorporates into team backlogs, within the boundaries of available capacity


- Prepare contribution to PI demo, in conjuction with other applicable stakeholders


- Maintain the quality and integrity of features within their technical and team boundaries, ensuring identification and contribution of risks and dependencies back to the Product Portfolio backlog


- Attends and contributes to key Product Management meetings, in particular PI Planning


- Defines metrics to measure the success and performance of prioritised work, ensuring any further BAU iterations can be proposed and prioritised accordingly within the boundaries of available capacity

Experience

Driving the evolution of products/solutions for Airline Schedules Planning, Optimisation and Schedules Distribution, Slots Management, Network and Fleet Planning.

Desirable: Experience as Product Owner within a Scaled Agile framework. Experience owning/influencing the products for Airline Revenue Management and Pricing.

JOB PURPOSE

 To design and support IT solution for Emirates Group. Working as part of design and support team. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES LINKED TO OBJECTIVE ARE

- Provide expert technical consultancy and guidance to Emirates Group IT dealing within the technology area and act as lead technical member in the project team delivering the work packages assigned.

- Develop IT solutions that meet customer requirements. Ensure that the design is robust, appropriate and of high quality and conforming to corporate standards and in line with the technical strategy.

- Ensure that the developed architecture/solution meets the service level requirements in terms of expected availability, capacity, continuity, security, performance and reliability.

- Collaborate with other Emirates Group IT Technology teams to implement ongoing monitoring of the relevant technology to ensure severity 1 & 2 incidents are configured within the monitoring systems.

- Ensure that assigned problems are defined and analysed in line with the problem management process. Ensure that solutions to problems meet the architectural and security standards within the technology area and impact to the business is minimised.

- Ensure that assigned incidents are resolved within the agreed service levels and where applicable, workarounds are provided to minimise business impact and own & manage changes within the technology area to ensure the least impact on the business.

- Publish and maintain high-quality documentation for the technology area. Working within the standard templates and documentation guidelines which includes detailed design, configuration details, support procedures, operations manuals and deployment architecture.

- Manage “End of Life” replacement of equipment and/or software within the technology area to ensure conformance to technical standards and support the technology initiatives and directions.
