JOB PURPOSE

 The Senior Software Engineer is a fully participating member of a cross-functional team working

 autonomously on technology development and problem resolution. The role involves the design,

 development, implementation and maintenance of technology solutions and products that support the

 Emirates Group Business.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES LINKED TO OBJECTIVE AREAS

 - Lead technical design and build for small to medium-sized solutions in a team. Translate functional and

 non-functional requirements into fit for purpose technical design. Ensure solution performance, business

 edge cases and security related issues while developing software.

 - Debug issues of complexity and follows design documents with minimal or no supervision.

 - Code review by peers/technical leads demonstrates good coding principles. Software engineering tasks

 or problems of moderate to high scope. Translate business solution requirements into potential technical

 solutions based on technical design.

 - Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

 Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

 - Work with senior technical engineers in the technical design process by contributing in the analysis of

 technical application requirements.

 - Automate unit tests and carries out testing independently. Troubleshoot issues, fixes defects that are

 moderate to high complexity and carry out testing independently.

 - Shadows senior engineers on design and architecture components and collaborate with members of the

 cross-functional team to identify areas of inefficiency and propose solutions.

 - Adhere to the Emirates Group IT coding standards, guidelines and best practices and contribute to

 Software Engineering Playbooks and other Standards documents.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

Qualifications: Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

- SharePoint Platform Administration Skills - 5+ years of experience as SharePoint (Online & on-premise), Azure and Office 365 administrator and troubleshooting experience.

- Experience in Microsoft Technologies like Office 365 & Services, Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, Active Directory, SQL Server, IIS and Office Web Apps.

- Hands-on experience in planning, designing, installation, configuration, customization of SharePoint Server 2019/2016/2013/2010/2007, SQL 2012/2008 and ADFS 2.0 /3.0

- Experience in SharePoint migrations from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint 2016/2019 and SharePoint Online.

- Hands-on experience in installation and configuration of SharePoint server farms, configuring SharePoint servers, resource planning and cumulative patch updates.

- Proficient in creating PowerShell scripts to manage on Premise environment.

- Database backup planning and restoring process coordination with databases teams.

- Experience in migrating on-premise applications to Azure PaaS or IasS and configuration of VNETs and subnets.

- Hands-on knowledge of CICD Pipeline and Azure DevOps integration

- Experience in providing solutions for automating business processes using Azure Cloud, Office 365 and Power Platform

- Research, evaluate and roll out new services to increase the efficiency of business and operations

- Content database migration as per Microsoft roadmap.

- Strong understanding of cloud applications, concepts and the storage, compute, and networking components of Microsoft Azure

- Power Platform Administration Skills - Hands-on experience in administering Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Bi, Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents and Dataverse)

- Hands-on development experience on Power platform

- Familiarity with the integration of Power Apps Common Data Services and other sources and knowledge on data design and migration practices

- Strong foundational knowledge of Office 365 platform including Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AD, and Azure logic apps, security, and DLP

- Proficient in creating PowerShell scripts, experience in data connections, gateways

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technologies, technical and business concepts to multiple audiences
