JOB TITLE: BIM MANAGER (SITE OPERATIONS)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Overview:
AtkinsRealis, a leading global engineering and design consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Information Modeling (BIM) Manager for Site Operations to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BIM implementation, excellent supervision skills, and significant consultancy experience. This role requires a candidate who can lead the BIM processes on-site, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration among various project stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
BIM Implementation and Supervision:
Lead the implementation of BIM processes on-site, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project requirements.
Provide hands-on supervision to BIM teams, ensuring the effective use of BIM tools and methodologies.
Collaboration and Communication:
Foster collaboration among project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, to enhance the overall project delivery process.
Facilitate effective communication between on-site teams and the central BIM team to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational BIM standards.
Quality Control:
Oversee the quality control of BIM deliverables, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project guidelines.
Conduct regular audits of BIM models and data to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Training and Development:
Provide training and support to on-site teams to enhance their BIM capabilities and ensure a high level of competency.
Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in BIM technology, sharing knowledge with the team.
Consultancy Experience:
Utilize consultancy experience to offer strategic insights and recommendations for optimizing BIM processes and workflows.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align BIM strategies with project goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in BIM management, with a focus on site operations.
Proven experience in supervising BIM teams and implementing BIM processes on construction sites.
Strong knowledge of BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit ) and other related tools.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Consultancy experience in a similar role is a must.
