Job Description
Estimating plumbing, HVAC and other mechanical project work insuring scope, plans, materials and workmanship are in compliance with University and other applicable compliance standards and requirements
Installation and maintenance of control consoles, audio routers, recording equipment, microphones, digital audio systems, transmitters, antennas, control systems, remote equipment
Must be able to take initiative to analyze a situation and to make frequent technical decisions based on specifications, safety and electrical codes
Have a working knowledge of all property fire control systems
Be able to maintain Engineering’s DDC type programming for all HVAC systems
Evaluating work load and plans, directing and coordinating maintenance operations of building plumbing, heating, ventilation, AC and ancillary systems and infrastructure equipment
Assist the Chief Engineer, Property or Facilities Manager in handling requests for service calls, evaluating requests, and dispatching appropriate staff and contractors
Maintain mechanical equipment rooms to ensure clean and safe conditions
Maintain all infrastructure and compliance documentation for the building including up-to-date building drawings and single-lines documentation mandated for the purpose of maintaining regulatory compliance with Federal, State or Local law
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
Add diplomas/certifications required if needed
