We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy General Manager / Operations Manager to join our team and lead our operations in the construction chemicals sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability. If you are a strategic thinker with a strong background in construction chemicals and a passion for driving operational excellence, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Operational Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operations team, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
2.Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing operations team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
3.Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing holding costs.
4.Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control standards to meet industry regulations and customer expectations.
- Conduct regular quality audits and drive corrective actions as necessary.
5.Production Planning:
- Develop and execute production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
- Monitor production processes for efficiency and consistency.
6.Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage the operations budget, controlling costs and maximizing profitability.
- Analyze financial data and make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency.
7.Health and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Promote a culture of safety and provide training as necessary.
8.Customer Focus:
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries and issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 15+ Years of experience.
- Proven experience in operations management within the construction chemicals industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for operations management.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
