Service Technician, Motive Offshore Group, Sharjah, UAE

Due to continued growth in the in our FZE Division, we have a requirement for a Service Technician, to come and join us, based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

The Service Technician will commission and operate equipment in a competent and professional manner, communicating effectively with the client and Operations Department at all times as well as ensure products are operated efficiently, within the allocated scopes of work and equipment operational limits. They will ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.

This role is expected to undertake work both onshore in the Sharjah workshop and for offshore projects, as required.

Responsibilities:

• To attend project briefings & de-briefings.

• To attend client inductions/HIRA’s as and when required.

• To complete online client inductions and training as and when required.

• To participate in internal and external training courses where identified.

• Attend client FAT’s when requested.

• To liaise and build rapport with the client whilst at the worksite.

• Stocktake equipment on arrival at worksite, communicating any anomalies and or damage to the client and Project Planner.

• Commission equipment at worksite and perform load test operations as per the clients’ requirements, completing all necessary paperwork.

• Operate equipment as per clients’ instructions, ensuring all daily checks and paperwork are completed.

• Complete required onsite paperwork such as post installation checks & maintenance records.

• Complete DCSR sheets in full, with accurate times and descriptions including any observations, delays, damages, daily activities obtaining signed approval from the client.

• Demobilise equipment at the worksite and prepare for shipping, completing any necessary cargo manifests.

• Develop strong working relations with key stake-holders – clients, colleagues etc.

• To be a positive ambassador for Motive Offshore Group Ltd.

Required skills / knowledge:

• Offshore certification.

• Mechanical / Engineering Trade.

• Tensioner / Carousel Cable Handling experience.

• Experience operating machinery.

• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to prioritise.

Role

Splunk is looking to hire an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join the team focussing on the General Business Vertical in the Saudi Arabia Market. Splunk is doing extraordinarily well with enterprise data management software solutions that companies want to buy. Responsibilities

You are passionate and you will consistently deliver license sales, support and service revenue targets – have the dedication and dedication to the sales targets and deadlines

You will focus on Account penetration in the region, conduct effective account planning and opportunity management

You are able to negotiate favourable pricing and business terms with commercial enterprises by selling value and return on investment

You will be working with partners and alliances in Saudi Arabia for maximum effectiveness

You will work closely with the sales engineering and in-house teams at Splunk, as well as partner services resources

You will utilise the Splunk sales methodology and processes effectively

Work closely with both international and domestic colleagues at Splunk to expand deal size and value to the customers

Provide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions, particularly product management and marketing data

Requirements

Extensive Enterprise Software selling knowledge and experience to large enterprises in the region. General Business Vertical experience is a plus.

In depth Saudi Arabia business knowledge

You demonstrate the ability to grow and scale upwards with the company

You have a strong charismatic executive presence and you are well presented

You can make important forecasting commitments and forecasting accuracy

You possess outstanding management, social, written and presentation skills

You thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic and fun work environment and you are comfortable to be 'disruptive'

You are also comfortable and have the ability to work independently and remotely from other members of your team and corporate offices

You have very relevant software industry experience in any of the following: IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development and management, security, and/or analytics.

Being able to articulate this through previous use cases

You use CRM systems (such as Salesforce) extensively

You demonstrate a good track record of success and knowledge with prospects and customers in the defined territory

Senior Project Manager - Logistics, Alshaya Group, Dubai, UAE

The Corporate Logistics Team plan, move and control the flow of goods from point of origin to point of consumption across all divisions, markets and brands within Alshaya. Working closely with brand teams to ensure appropriate stock and delivery to store, the team manages a range of complex and diverse activities including shipping, freight, warehouse operations, customs clearance (in-bound and out-bound), compliance and project management.

The Role:

As Senior Project Manager, you will manage supplier and fit-out contractors and appointments, review proposed layouts and requirements with the host brand, designers and brand managers, and maintains the store opening schedule.

By overseeing the project team you will ensure that all store development projects are performed within budget, timeframe, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Skills and knowledge in the following areas: Project management, Supply chain, Logistics, Freight forwarding, and Customs clearance. Retail industry experience is beneficial but not essential.

Requirements:

- Must have significant experience of managing complex Logistics / Supply chain projects from inception through to completion, including planning, risk, cost, and benefit management.

- Background in a senior role within an international shipping, logistics or retail supply chain business (operational management is beneficial but not essential).

- Experience in establishing best practices that support continuous improvement.

-Evidence of strong relationship-building skills that enables robust and effective stakeholder management.

- Experience of managing and developing project teams that can operate in matrix environment.

- Education Level: Business Degree required but not essential.

- Preferred Qualifications: Prince2 or equivalent.

- Project management (5+ years).

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Projects, Blueworks/Vision.
