About the Role:
The Planning Engineer will be responsible to Lead a team of planners to ensure that the preventive maintenance jobs and other planned jobs are planned based on the resources available and the system updated accordingly. Ensure that the required resources are available for carrying out the planned jobs. Improving the effectiveness of planned jobs so that downtime is reduced.

As a specialist in reliability engineering this planning engineer should also have extensive knowledge and experience of the following:

Bachelor degree in in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
5 Years experience in operation and maintenance of utility in a large process industry
Thermal Imaging
Vibration Analysis (combination of accelerometer, ultrasonic, and shock pulse measurement)
Ultrasonic Leak Detection
Energy Monitoring Systems
FMECA
RCA

Customer Installation & Project Engineer, Air Products, UAE

Job Description and Qualifications

II. POSITION SUMMARY

This job holder will be involved in the installation and management of Application customers. They can include both Air Products and customer owned equipment. The primary task will be to manage customer installations, and to manage projects whether the projects are on AP premises or on customer sites. The ideal candidate will possess basic knowledge of the asset pool, be familiar with SAP (or ERP system) and a solid understanding of projects execution.

II. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

This position is accountable for the following end results:

Management and ownership of hazop documentation for all L/B and Microbulk systems supported by the Customer Engineering organization MEIET region.
Management and ownership of engineering calculation tools used by the different CE organizations.
Management and ownership of CAD drafting package for L/B and Microbulk including standard system designs for the Customer Engineering organization
Management and ownership of work processes in the area of Product Engineering and Asset Management
Identify opportunities to reduce costs in the work processes that this role is responsible for.
Prioritize cost reduction initiatives and identify specific continuous improvement projects to complete.
Execute installation of equipment’s at customer in safe manner.
Execute trouble shooting if any problem at customer.
To make report maintenance activity on previous month.
Prepare and issue PR, and follow up its progress
Other assignments from immediate superior.
Implement EH&S procedure during maintenance & installation of equipment
Manage Projects:

Assist in managing the project life in SAP. Manage the Process and Project status.
Enter Purchase Requisitions and order parts managing delivery dates for Applications Engineering projects within SAP. Manage discrepancy reporting as required and escalate and follow up as required to manage installation timeline
Managing Capitalization and CADRs of Applications Equipment. Manage inventory of idle and active equipment in SAP.
Manage quality documents as received from outside vendors and assist in the creation and uploading of project drawings and documents, manual, etc into Vantage. Manage all Domestic / International shipping coordination as required (heavy hauls, quotes and arranging trucks for common carrier and dedicated trucks, hazardous material movement restrictions).

III. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Mechanical engineering degree holder.
Basic knowledge on Industrial Gases and its properties, associated equipment’s etc.
Minimum of 1-2 years experience in handling projects and knowledge in Primavera or Project planning..
Knowledgeable and well versed in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Technically knowledgeable and has a drive to learn new things.
Ability to understand open and review AutoCAD drawing for troubleshooting and parts requests.
Must have experience in driving with a valid UAE Driving License.
Good understanding of ISO 9000.
Must have a strong sense of service and with a customer / client oriented outlook.
Must be highly motivated with very strong self-direction and initiative and work well in a team environment.
Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of people in the organization.
Strong English and Arabic language skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Close-out team member responsible for following-up, tracking, monitoring, and preparing for close-out final handing over of all Warranties and Asset
Registers of the project. Should coordinate and liaise with discipline engineers, subcontractors, BIM team, and any other project stakeholders related to warranties and asset registers.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:

Rosewood Abu Dhabi's Engineering team is growing! We are looking for a detailed orientated, attentive, and intuitive Engineer to join our team! This role is responsible to perform various duties ensuring orderly and timely completion of work orders received from internal guests, Director of Engineering, Engineering Manager & Duty Engineer, and Supervisor. Perform various work orders involved in maintaining preventive maintenance in the Plant Operator/Boiler expertise.

OSHAD RESPONSIBILITIES:

While at work, (and while on work premises) an associate shall:

Take reasonable care of their own health and safety.

Take reasonable care of the health and safety of a person and the workplace, that may be affected by their acts or omission at work;

Cooperate with full compliance with Hotel’s developed OSHMS policies, OSHMS procedures & operational works instruction in order to protect the health and safety of the people.

Report to immediate supervisor any situation which they have reason to believe could present a hazards and which they cannot themselves correct;

Report all OSH incidents and work related injuries; and

Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided (e.g. Equipment & machineries, PPE, etc.) at the Hotel’s workplace in the interest of health, safety, welfare or protection or management of the workplace.

Participate in conduct of OSH related planning and implementation in order to achieve the Hotel’s OSH objectives, targets & program.

Attend all training arranged by Hygiene, Health & Safety Manager such as OSH training, safety Induction, on the job training, tool box talks, etc.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

Held accountable and committed whatever it takes to comply with the company’s OSHMS Policies, OSHMS Procedure, & Operational Works Instruction and any other relevant legislation applies within the organization.

Held accountable to take care of his own health and safety, other person in the workplace that may be affected by their acts or omission at work.

To report to his supervisor or respective Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Minimum three years’ experience as an Engineer at a 5 star hotel.

Education: High school diploma; professional trade certification preferred.

General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with one specific Trade as per Education qualification.

Language: Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting materials, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.
