Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities


• Receive and record technical and/or application support calls from end users.

• Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for hardware/software problems. When unable to resolve, escalate to second or third level in accordance with Help Desk escalation processes.

• Maintain overall ownership of user’s issue & service ensuring that they receive resolution within a reasonable timeframe. 

• Provide initial assessment of urgency and business impact on all support calls. 

• Manage service requests, software installations, new computer setups, upgrades, etc. 

• Record incident resolutions in the Help Desk tool. 

• Provide enhancement request feedback to IT regarding technology environment and customer needs through the defined processes.

• Support the following technologies: Microsoft Office 2007 /2010 products – Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer, Windows XP,  Win OS 7,desktops, laptops, printers, networked copiers, NIC’s, basic LAN/WAN connectivity and others as assigned.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 

• Ability to communicate well with internal and external contacts

Key Responsibility

- Achieve quantitative measures of performance in the following areas: Procurement of Goods with overseas suppliers, cost effective means of shipping both inbound and outbound, ensuring all movements are within the guide lines of the concerned government authorities rules and    regulations, timely payment to the overseas supplier’s, Reconciliation basis value and stock quantities, monitoring stock status (available, held, m-inspect, expiry quantities). - Ensure supply of goods are made in the most cost effective move of transport and within the best transit time available. - Monitoring and ensuring that the right temperature is maintained at all times during the transportation of goods to ensure highest quality standards are maintained at all given times. - Adhere and enforce Company SOP, Policies and procedures; loss prevention audit guidelines at all times. Also create measures to ensure compliance by our service providers. - Oversea and support all regions to meet the guidelines set by the respective concerned govt. authorities.

- Monitor the supply movement across the regions.

- Share valuable information, knowledge with your subordinates, train on logistic perspective, govt. guidelines, teamwork, and other etiquettes as per the company and brand requirements.

- Interpret and make decision on operations and stock situations based on inventory positions across the region.

- Communicate loop holes in the supply chain and effective measures to overcome these loop holes, and other related information to the Sr Supply Chain Manager, giving product availability updates whenever requested by any of respective Managers in the F&B team.

About You

You will proactively integrate the retail ‘communicating & selling’ processes with the ‘supplying’ processes at store level.  To support the strong alignment between supply and demand needed to secure agreed service level at lowest cost.  To ensure an efficient logistics operation in the store.

 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 Commercial

• Securing store stock is available for customers in order to maximise sales.

• Optimising goods flow productivity to fulfil overall qualitative and quantitative goals.

• Securing  an  efficient  goods  flow  by  having  a  close  cooperation  with  my  partners  within  the commercial team in the area of merchandising in order to sell more.

• Taking accountability for handling damages in my store and working with my colleagues to identify the root cause of recurring damages and taking appropriate action to minimise the reoccurrence of these in future.

• Optimising the utilisation of existing logistic capacity in my store (space, equipment and people) and securing efficient goods flow, by ensuring all handling equipment is maintained to a high standard and functions effectively.

• Actively contributing to the creation of the store business plan and converting business plan goals into clear logistic actions within the goods flow area. Take responsibility for executing relevant actions within this plan.

• Monitoring and controlling the development and execution of agreed goods flow actions.

• Analysing the results of the Customer Satisfaction Survey, Brand Capital, Voice and Commercial

• Reviews and using the insights gained from this to develop our business.

• Implementing agreed and decided global/national solutions, routines, working methods and tools.

• This covers all replenishment and warehousing activities and includes the use of common IT systems and techniques.

• Contributing to national and global development of IKEA in the areas where I, my team and/or my store have strong expertise.

• Implementing rules and guidelines in the areas of goods flow in my store and follow up on the implementation of these.

• Contributing to environmental, health and safety performance in my store and securing compliance with the group risk manual in the goods flow operations areas.


Customers

• Responsible for minimising local-local shortages in my store and securing that store stock is available for our customers.

•Give input to my in-store logistics manager regarding store logistic capacity requirements (space, equipment and people).

•Accountable for planning, organising and monitoring the store goods flow process from goods

•Receiving to sales locations replenishment, fulfilling the goal to be ready before store opening and that my areas of responsibility are in-shape as new.

•Responsible for minimising of the waiting times at full serve handout by optimising goods allocation and the planning of space, equipment and people.

•Responsible for securing all prerequisites are met in my area including people, tools, working methods and communication networks to contribute to an efficient range administration process in my store (space dimensioning, goods allocation).

•Contribute to optimising the total supply chain costs by monitoring and giving input to my partners, within the supplying process, based on the defined communication set up, regarding customer expectations and potentials (loading quality, arrival precision etc.).

Our client, world's largest Oil & Gas company, is urgently looking for a "Warehouse Support Equipment Specialist" willing to work under the following conditions for an upcoming project:

With Minimum Requirement


Level and type of initial higher education: Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance Technician degree

Number of years of relevant experience: 10 Years in Oil-Field - Offshore exposure 3 Years minimum

Extensive knowledge of completion and well servicing (slick line in particular) equipment, technology, and workflows.

Equipment requests and mobilization process (including SAP).

QA/QC process.

Fluent English compulsory

Professional or HSE certifications: IWCF level 2

Roles And Responsibility


Coordinate Warehouse Activities, Equipment, Logistic & Safety QA/QC, Support Platform and Rig operation, Coaching of WSS.

Coordinate WS warehouse activities, prioritize activities according to drilling sequence and other parameters.

Conduct QA/QC acceptance checks on all new equipment being received into warehouse.

Responsible for make-up and testing of completion sub-assemblies:

Keep on top of sub assembly requirements and ensure that a sufficient stock is kept.

Issue CWO's and SO's as required.

Monitor and witness (spot checks) sub assembly make-up and test at Vendors to verify correct make-up and test procedures are followed.

Check all assembly sheets for correct data, i.e., Dimensions, Threads. Storage Preparation.

Check all dimensions specs against manufacturers description and that products are as ordered and fully functional.

Check SCSSSV, HCM's, Ball Valves, etc. are functional and pressure tight.

Ensure SAP workflows are done for the associated equipment movements

Visit contractors as required for pre-load out inspections.

Prepare/inspect equipment for load out.

Track all WS major equipment such that exact location is always known.

Inspect equipment returned to warehouse and arrange for repair and/or replacement. Identify missing equipment and chase up offshore locations for returns.

Maintain and improve "Action List WS-Offshore' allocating job priorities in accordance with urgency. Ensure list is updated as jobs are executed and that proper hand overs are created by the Offshore WSS if jobs are still ongoing.

Ensure that all service equipment is maintained/serviced and within calibration and/or certification.

Set up and maintain a certification and testing program for all COMPANY PCE, not limited to but including MPI, Thread Inspection and Pressure Testing.
