Job Purpose


Locate potential customers, serves them by selling products and services, meeting customer needs.


Duties


Establishes new accounts by using suitable methods which includes but not limited to planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on potential sales leads and other trade factors.


Establishes and adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales targets or trade factor.


Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential channel of business.


Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.


Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses and sales targets.


Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.


Recommends changes in products, service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.


Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, making recommendations to management.


Maintains professional and technical knowledge by suitable methods.


Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.


Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Conducting regularly scheduled customer visits

Maintaining and updating customer records and enquiry status

Converting (potential) customers’ enquiries in Sales orders

Selling and servicing Doka products and solutions, particularly components

Ensuring the customer is satisfied with products and services and ensuring proper recording and coordination of shipments & returns.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of Sales experience within construction or construction related industry

Strong sales fundamentals and skills: listening, probing, negotiation, closing

In-depth knowledge of the UAE / GCC construction industry

Good understanding of the technical and commercial requirements of customers in the construction industry

Experience with formwork, especially plywood, is considered a plus

Ability to embrace and understand challenging problems and find solutions  

Well-developed numerical ability and attention to detail

Ability to build strong and long lasting relationships particularly with clients

Ability to communicate and engage with people at different levels in the organization

Confident, self-driven individual with a hands-on attitude

Clear communication and negotiation skills in English

The Business Development role will be responsible for driving the client penetration and revenue of Kantar Marketplace in close collaboration with Business Development and Client teams throughout Kantar.



Key responsibilities will include:

o    Dedicated to driving sales the KMP platform, across all solutions available.

o    Significantly grow Kantar Marketplace business in the Middle East market, building long-term strategic relationships with existing and new customers.

o    Collaborative seller, working closely with the Business Development teams, Domain Leads, Client Leads, Regional Leads and Practice areas across Kantar.  

o    Create and execute against a business plan targeting Middle East based client that would benefit from Kantar Marketplace’s unique platform. 

o    Actively scope out new business opportunities through your established network, analysis of data, and existing knowledge of the market research landscape.

o    Pitch the broader Kantar Marketplace vision and narrative articulating compelling value propositions around our offer.

o    Lead client conversations and platform demonstrations on the transformative potential of Kantar Marketplace Platform focusing on unique selling propositions with a keen eye toward competitors.

o    Work closely with Kantar Marketplace Client Support Team to regularly monitor and quickly follow-up with leads obtained through the Kantar Marketplace storefront and respond quickly to new business enquiries.

o    Be accountable for revenue goals, managing the resources responsible for the business development process, from prospecting to qualification to closing, in order to generate new and existing sales revenue.

o    Drive year over year growth across new and established clients.

o    Provide weekly, quarterly and annual updates to Head of Business Development, Kantar Marketplace and other stakeholders.

o    Identify and drive Domain +1 opportunities

o    Handle in-depth knowledge of products and technologies, competitors, and market conditions.

o    Work within a matrix structure to harness the capabilities of the team including Domain and Solution experts to win.

o    Work in close relationship with local Kantar Marketplace Champion whose role it is to drive the overall Kantar Marketplace vision in the market.

As an Outbound Sales Development Representative, your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):


Follow up all company generated leads in a timely manner, ensuring the correct level of customer discovery, to maximise the sales opportunities

Enthusiastically working on outbound activities, representing the company in a highly professional manner.

Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements:


Essential:


Demonstrable of selling products and/or services in a comparable role in a B2B environment 

Proven track record in achieving sales targets and pipeline development to ensure coverage

Demonstrable experience in managing quotations, bids and proposals, including working to set pricing models to achieve required margin

Good oral and written communication skills, active listener and able to work under own initiative to prioritise and deliver work on time

Knowledge of standard IT programmes, Salesforce and comfortable in using proprietory software for business processes

Experience in preparing and delivering proposal presentations to senior managers in a customer environment


Desirable:
