Job Overview

As a Field Engineer III you will play a pivotal role in delivering advanced technical services and digital solutions in the oil and gas sector. This senior-level position involves leading the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Weatherford’s RTUs, VSD panels, and instrumentation systems. You will serve as a key technical expert at field sites, ensuring operational excellence, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining strong client relationships. Your expertise will contribute to safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery, while also supporting continuous improvement and innovation in field operations.

Responsibilities

Uphold the highest standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, laws, and industry standards.
To carry out as a team Installation, Commissioning, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of the Weatherford RTU, VSD panels.
Should have good knowledge about Sensors, Instruments, working on low and high voltage panels.
Provide technical support to Instrumentation technicians
Provide guidance to instrument technicians to ensure that worked is carried out to client and statutory health & safety standards/procedures and the Permit to Work System, promoting safety and environmental awareness in all day to day activities
Find and remedy faults on Instruments and VSD control panels
Assist supervisor with any reporting functions
Ensure materials used are in accordance with specifications
Reads and interprets electrical schematics, diagrams, plans in preparation for and performance of tasks
Submit written reports to his field supervisor regarding daily activities
Determines and secures necessary tools, material and equipment before starting any task
Assists in the layout and documentation of new installation
Perform analysis and diagnosis to provide solutions to instrumentation problems
Follow appropriate safety procedures and permit to work system of the customer during work at site
Prepare site visit report, service report and daily progress report
Assist field supervisor to develop & improve job safety procedures
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities assigned by Supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Clearly communicate expectations and responsibilities.
Be financially responsible and adhere to budget and policy guidelines.
Take ownership of career development and required training.
Engage regularly with managers to discuss performance and growth.
Support talent management and collaborate with HR for recruitment and retention.
Exhibit leadership and ethical behavior aligned with Weatherford standards.

Skills

Work experience at site in supervisor level.
Able to understand P & I diagram, Process flow diagram, Functional Logic diagram and Cause & Effect Matrix.
Knowledge on Safety factor in Hazardous location
Knowledge on flow products, RTU, RPC,VSD & SCADA system.
Good communication skills
Critical thinking, active learning, and complex problem-solving.
Strong reading, writing, judgment, and decision-making.
Physical capability to perform field tasks.
Ability to operate tools and machinery effectively.
Visualization skills for tool assembly and modifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Instrumentation or Control engineering having min 5 yrs of field experience.
Min 03 years of Oil field experience

Amentum is currently seeking a Deputy Program Manager in Kuwait.

Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Interfacing with government officials on diverse issues and problems and working to resolve operational issues and problems.
Assisting in the resolution of Linguist issues, ensuring accountability and overseeing accurate payroll data collection by Linguists.
Supporting the Site Lead with identifying issues as well as resolving issues that have been escalated when necessary while also ensuring effective and timely communications with all appropriate parties.
Providing operational, administrative, and management oversight to all Valiant and subcontractor linguists in the assigned area of operation.
Managing day-to-day actions to ensure Valiant is providing quality service and support to the customer in all operational areas.
Communicating any new changes, requirements, concerns, and issues to all applicable parties without delay.
Conducting daily meetings with the customer to ensure that expectations are appropriately managed and that all requirements defined by the SOW are met.
Coordinating with the Site Lead and/or customer to support Linguist schedules and travel.
Ensuring the Linguist 's health, morale, and welfare requirements are met.
Ensuring Linguists adhere to established customer regulations and standards of conduct.
All other duties/responsibilities as assigned and deemed necessary by the customer.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent Military training/experience
8-10 years of diverse management experience with excellent communication, analytical, project management, and supervisory skills.
An active TS/SCI clearance with ability to maintain for the duration of the assignment
Familiar with military customs, courtesies, and procedures
Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Willingness to work long hours for extended periods
Work and travel in austere environments
US citizen with current U.S. passport
Must be able to work in a sitting position for eight or more hours per day.
Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds as needed.
Must be able to travel to job locations by automobile and commercial airline.
Must be able to wear appropriate chemical and ballistic protective gear as required in a war hazard zone.
Experience managing linguist personnel.
Position may require travel.

A team is also dedicated to the maintenance of equipment in operation at our customers' plants.

JOB CONTENT

We are currently seeking a Repair Service Engineer to drive the growth of after-sales repair and overhauling services for Fives installed base by identifying opportunities, developing sales offers, and supporting business development initiatives. The role focuses on strengthening customer relationships, managing sales order intake, and generating sustainable repair /overhauling service revenue in line with the Company’s regional business and operational strategy

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Customer & Business Development

Identify and develop new and existing repair/overhauling business opportunities across the Fives installed base
Analyze client account history, conduct customer research, and evaluate competitor/market data to identify trends and support business growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular meetings, ensuring customer requirements are understood and delivered
Work closely with BDMs and internal departments to align repair solutions with overall business needs
Support the development and continuous improvement of the repair service catalogue
Develop and implement targeted marketing and sales strategies, including budgeted sales plans, to expand after-sales services and market share

2. Proposal & Sales Support

Manage and coordinate responses to client RFPs/RFQs, including preparation of technical and commercial submissions
Prepare, review, and deliver repair proposals with technical accuracy and commercial competitiveness
Support sales closure by providing technical validation
Lead and participate in after-sales contract negotiations, covering both commercial and technical aspects
Ensure timely and clear responses to customer inquiries and maintain proactive communication with clients
Automate and streamline proposal processes to increase efficiency and improve response times

3. Technical Support (Sales-Oriented)

Review and interpret OEM drawings, assembly layouts, and technical specifications to define repair scope and requirements
Conduct on-site inspections at customer facilities to assess equipment condition and confirm repair feasibility
Perform or coordinate diagnostic activities such as NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), vibration analysis, and dimensional measurements as required
Translate inspection findings into technical recommendations and tailored sales offers for clients
Ensure that all proposed repair solutions comply with Fives’ engineering standards and customer specifications
Provide technical input for costing, spare parts requirements, and repair methodologies to support proposals
Develop technical justifications and ROI cases to demonstrate the value of repair vs. replacement
Present technical repair solutions to customers, highlighting benefits in reliability, cost savings, and extended equipment life
Prepare technical reports, inspection summaries, and post-service feedback to be shared with customers and internal team

4. Service Delivery & Excellence

Supervise post-sales activities by collecting customer feedback and return-of-experience (ROE) data for continuous improvement
Support the design and execution of exhibitions, client presentations, and events to showcase repair capabilities
Ensure compliance with internal standards and HSEQ requirements in all customer-facing activities

5. Reporting & Coordination

Provide regular reports on repair business growth, customer activity, and project profitability
Maintain and update the client database and all sales leads/opportunities in the CRM in line with Company policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, operations) to ensure smooth execution of repair projects
Stay updated on repair technologies, installed base performance, and regional market trends to anticipate customer needs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline (Industrial/Mechatronics Engineering may be considered)

Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in after-sales, service engineering, or repair business (preferably with an OEM or in heavy industry such as aluminum, steel, cement, or oil & gas)
Proven exposure to repair/overhauling projects — scope definition, costing, and proposal preparation
Experience in customer-facing roles, including sales support, negotiations, and technical presentations
Familiarity with site inspections and diagnostic techniques (e.g., NDT, vibration analysis, dimensional inspection)

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, CERTIFICATION OR MEMBERSHIPs:

Professional Knowledge:

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical repair and overhauling practices for heavy industrial equipment
Familiarity with diagnostic techniques such as NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), vibration analysis, and dimensional inspection
Understanding of OEM standards for repair quality, tolerances, and documentation
Knowledge of after-sales business processes including proposals, costing, and contract negotiations

Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):

NDT Level II (PT, MT, UT or equivalent) or Vibration Analysis Certification
Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent for service project coordination
Sales or Business Development certifications in industrial/technical sectors

Professional Memberships (an advantage):

Membership in recognized engineering societies such as ASME, IMechE, or SPE
Affiliation with aluminium industry networks such as ICSOBA or TMS
Registration as a Chartered/Professional Engineer (or equivalent) where applicable

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Willingness and ability to travel frequently across GCC and MENA for site inspections, customer meetings, and technical/commercial discussions
Flexibility to work in industrial environments while adhering to HSEQ standards
Strong customer orientation with the ability to build trust and credibility in a multicultural environment
Capacity to work under pressure with tight deadlines for proposals, negotiations, and project support
High level of technical writing and presentation skills to communicate complex repair solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
