Main Purpose
The scope of the Logistics Analyst will cover reporting for the Logistics team, working with Maisons and cross functionally to obtain data that they will project work volumes and team requirements; prepare SEC reports for senior management; track costs for logistics and support with ad-hoc projects such as LNR or RFQ
The analyst’s main objective is to provide a clear snapshot of the department spending at any time;
Year on year analysis and performance, for all cost related activities
Current spend analysis
Anticipate costs and volumes for upcoming years
The analyst will also be able to provide clear information regarding our volumes for finished goods, POSM and perfume. They will note trends and work with logistics teams to provide comprehensive explanations for the trends.
The logistics analyst will work with our logistics external partners for warehousing and staffing to ensure that costs are allocated accurately and will work with suppliers to correct any inaccuracies.
They will work in close partnership with the logistics Exco and its management team to provide clear data and information on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
Invoicing from 3rd party vendors for staff
Review and track spending of vendor and update tracker
Participate in business review with vendors to review spending and performance
Raise PO for services
Logistics cost centre tracking
Work in partnership with finance team to update our spending
Review cost allocation against budget
Analyse budget and trend for current fiscal year
Work with group logistics finance team to review regional spend
Analyse and Track Finished gods, POSM and Perfume Volumes past and projected
Work with Maisons on a quarterly basis to gather information on volumes for current and upcoming fiscal years
Help prepare inventory and transport projections for budget and LE processes
Update inventory tracker for all product category and analyse trends
Provide data for LE and budget in volume and dollar
Based on volume information gathered from the Maisons and in partnership with logistics ExCo, prepare budget projections for products
Review staffing projections based on volume and upcoming activities
Present reports including ytd, ytg and yoy analysis including initial explanation of trends – information obtained by discussing topics with logistics team member, management and exco teams
Logistics Reports + Performance dashboard
Create a performance management dashboard to review logistics performance
Warehouse fill rate reports
Support inventory control team to prepare accurate reporting on inventory and presentation
Performance dashboard for all logistics teams
Prepare SEC reports
Prepare SEC reports monthly
Review with logistics Exco to understand and align on comments
Support project management team in preparing reports or gathering data when necessary
Scope including but not limited to RFQ ; E-Commerce launches and LNR project
Requirements
University Graduate in Supply Chain and Logistics is advantageous
Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Good knowledge of PowerBI and SAP
2-3 years working experience in similar role
Data and Trend Analysis
Excellent communication skills, in collaboration with senior management
Strong Analytical and Report Writing skills
Fluent English
