ADNOC Distribution markets, sells, and distributes transportation fuel to both retail and commercial customers. We also run non-fuel services at our service stations.

 

JOB PURPOSE:

Study and identify improvements opportunities and provide subject matter expertise to ensure the coherence and optimisation of all activities related to Operations Excellence. Design and implement changes to processes that improve results and reduce cost and eliminate waste.

Deliver process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives whilst addressing all process deficiencies through re-engineering interventions and corrective action plans.

Develop and implement all technical training related to Operations including the receipt, storage, handling and delivery of aviation products, use of related equipment’s, safety and fire prevention, driving of fuelling vehicles and quality control.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Operational Excellence

Lead the provision of awareness sessions on the role of Operations excellence and the implemented internal controls, policies and procedures to Operations employees and partners.

Lead the Identification and setting standards of Operational excellence in order to maximise the safe and reliable performance of company Assets.

Lead the assessment of Operations performance against standards set in order to provide confidence on the status of operations.

Present business process optimization opportunities and underlying operations improvement business case to the operations group management and executives.

Continuously leverage the expertise and resources of the impacted areas to support and implement the initiatives.

Identify and communicate obstacles and challenges encountered throughout the project, and opportunities for improving or accelerating the process.

Manage change through communication, documentation, and training to ensure stakeholder involvement and buy-in.

Ensure reviewing corrective action plans developed by Operations Process Re-engineering and process owners and ensure its implementation by concerned parties.

Identify continuous improvement activities to produce bottom line risk and savings to support the overall

Operational Excellence program.

Execute improvement activities to promote organizational changes and facilitate the culture of operational excellence in delivering the goals through cross-functional collaboration.

Lead and facilitate lean/process improvement-based workshops to drive ideas and solutions

Coordinate with sites and various division for OE and sites communications and to prepare for audits

Work with key business stakeholders to build a continuous improvement environment to support driving of Operational Excellence across ADD.

Support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working.

Assist in the development and implementation of a ‘best-in-class’ continuous improvement strategy.

Participate in developing implementing and executing the operational excellence program. Identify key opportunities and gaps in the core business and operational processes and identify improvement plans.

Lead the development of value stream mapping to measure current performance and establish future state targets to eliminate waste, improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory.

Own the timely delivery of initiatives and regularly reports to leadership team and the site with status of schedules and achievement of intended objectives.

 

Technical Training

Develop, plan and coordinate all technical and on the field trainings and competencies development in line with Regulations Authority.

Carry out mentoring and coaching and provide subject matter expertise to ensure effective problem resolution.

Defines training needs in consultation with the Operations Managers, VPs and the Employee

Development Department of Human Resources in line with Authorities regulations for all staff specific to their job profiles and competency matrix.

Ensures that employees are qualified and certified to perform required functions by assessing their knowledge and skills using theoretical assessment and practical assessment methods.

Prepares and maintains Competency and Drivers’ Certificates for all staff. Organises refresher training as needed. Reports the progress of Company trainees to the management.

Coordinate with HSSED for safety specific trainings like risk management, Confined space etc.

Provide technical knowledge and training in new or existing lean methods including that develop a highly effective visual management process, creating workflows designed to meet business objectives and ensure adherence to standard work.

Serve as an educational resource for management by keeping them informed on legislation, trends and other issues in the Operations Excellence.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.

 

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

8 years of experience in continuous improvement role preferably in oil and gas retail industry

 

Professional Certifications

PMP or/and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification are preferred

Job Description

Responsibilities:

The Client Compliance Services department is responsible to provide Outsourced Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (“MLRO”) services. The department also assists client companies of IQ-EQ DIFC in structuring matters and in fulfilling clients’ compliance responsibilities.

In addition, the Senior Manager - Client Compliance shall have supervisory responsibilities for the Client Compliance Unit team, monitor their daily tasks and to coach them.

Tasks

Contribute in designing and implementing the AML/CFT framework for specific clients;

Act as MLRO/ Compliance Officer for IQ-EQ DIFC’s client companies;

Attend board meetings to present MLRO/Compliance reports for IQ-EQ DIFC’s client companies on at least an annual basis; To receive, analyse and report Suspicious Transaction Reports, as appropriate;

Perform Client file review or special investigation as required;

Liaison with DFSA, FSRA and other regulatory bodies for assisting clients to procure regulatory approvals and for related matters.

Provide AML/CFT training to directors and staff of client companies, as appropriate;

Conduct AML/CFT risk assessments of all products, technology and business practice of client companies, as appropriate;

Analyse and disseminate the latest AML/CFT related regulatory information to clients;

Provide basic advice and guidance to Onboarding Unit and Operational Compliance on specific compliance queries;

Provide Management Information to the Operational Risk Committee, GRACC and Board, as required;

Supervise, assess the Client Compliance Unit team’s work and assignments as well as assist in building capabilities and allocate resources within the Client Compliance Unit team;

Conduct staff appraisals and recommend career development plans to the Senior Executive Officer;

Ensure protection of information assets of IQ-EQ DIFC and to abide by the ISMS in place at IQ-EQ DIFC.

Education / professional qualifications

A degree from reputable university, preferably in the field of law, finance or financial services or directly related to compliance functions

Background experience

At least 8-10 years’ experience in the financial services sector and preference given to experience in compliance

Technical

Experience as DFSA and/or FSRA approved Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer

Job Description

As a CRM Project Manager, you are responsible for leading people, project, and program management across an entire CRM system lifecycle. From requirements gathering through implementation, you will work closely with both internal Avanade employees and client stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery. You will also be responsible for the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, processes, and tools supporting enhancements in productivity, efficiency, issue resolution, and cost. 

Key Role Responsibilities: 

Day-to-day you will: 

Manage collaboration with clients and project teams to develop PMO related tools such as project plans, implementation plans, transition plans, etc. 

Establish and support knowledge management repositories 

Support business development activities or thought leadership in support of Talent Community objectives and priorities 

Monitor, reports, and responds to issues and risks associated with the project 

Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks associated with the project 

Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of detailed project work plan, including appropriate controls, governance structures, and monitoring to ensure on-time, on-budget, and quality outcomes 

Manage Avanade and subcontractor staff assigned to the project 

Lead change management and change enablement processes throughout project duration 

Assist in the sales process, including estimating work effort and expenses using Avanade's standard tools. 

Engage and partner with appropriate onshore, offshore, and nearshore workforces, including Service Licensing Agreements (SLAs) 

 

Key Role Skill & Capability Requirements: 

Your technical and non-technical skills include: 

You are likely an experienced project manager with deep CRM roots, someone who can engage with clients and translate their needs into project blueprints, schedules and deliverables. 

Extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and the life cycle of planning, implementing, and maintaining such solutions 

Demonstrated experience with operation management, systems security, testing, databases, and mobility considerations 

Extensive Experience leading large technology infrastructure projects 

Experience consulting with external clients on complex projects, including in leadership roles 

Experience working with global teams on CRM technology implementation and maintenance projects 

Experience working with offshore teams to facilitate project work 

Demonstrated excellence in communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in written form 

Fluent Arabic is mandatory for this role

Preferred Certifications: 

PMP Certification Desired

Creates and implements work plans for assigned projects, programs, and/or clients against established operational objectives; supports translation of group strategy into objectives and work plans.

Provides operational leadership for large-scale, strategically critical work efforts requiring significant coordination. 

Complexity:  

Complex problems that span work domains and require continual alignment to internal and external business issues to deliver expected results across groups. 

Discretion:  

Wide latitude in approach to work, including ability to reshape work plans, guided by professional best practices and domain expertise.   

Organizational Impact: 

Work efforts have significant impact on near- and medium-term Avanade and/or client operations. If client-facing, should contribute to client-relationship and sales outcomes. 

Supervision Received:  

Works independently, with occasional validation of work efforts against strategic and operational objectives. Significant latitude in judgment & approach. 

Supervision Provided:  

Mentors and manages work efforts of more junior colleagues and team members as required by various workstreams; may formally supervise work of project teams.
