Your Role

•    Complying to the quality procedures and HSE requirements set by the company.

•    Formulating and developing the departmental objectives and KPI as well as adhering to the same. 

•    Build and maintain positive working relationship with everyone in the Team and other Departments. 

•    Improving the role of procurement and supply within the organization,all knowledge and capability statements.

•    All knowledge and capability statements from: Strategic Sourcing and Developing Global Sourcing.

•    Working with suppliers and other stakeholders to achieve partnering, development plans and strategic relationship management to deliver value for the organisation and its supply chain.

•    Demonstrating added value to the organisation through the implementation of global procurement, off shoring or low cost country sourcing.

•    Evaluating submitted quotations or tenders on the basis of objective criteria using any agreed weightings and scoring process.

•    Initiate and get involved in the techno-commercial negotiations with the vendors, supporting Procurement Engineers and Senior Procurement Engineer as applicable

•    Total compliance to company guidelines in validating the terms

and conditions of purchasing during vendor negotiations to facilitate in the final decision making.

•    Approve ordering of necessary goods and services

•    Develop and maintain Contracts & Procurement Strategy & Policies

•    Attend Operations, Planning and Management meetings as applicable.

•    Participates in internal/Customer Audits as required

•    Coordinate with accounts for clearing payments on time.

•    Assist Procurement Manager in Vendor Pre-qualification and performance evaluation.

•    Liase with LEWA/ IFL on International Procurement Network activities.

•    Ensures that the Procurement Procedures and work instructions are followed. 

•    Coordinate with SHEQ for Vendor Audit as required.

•    Submission of Monthly/Weekly basis related to Project Procurement Reports to the Managing Director or during the L1 meetings.

•    Circulation of sub order list to relevant department.

•    Updating approved vendor list periodically.

•    Assist the Procurement Manager and Procurement Engineers on  Price Agreement/Rate Contract for repeated Project Oriented Materials & Services from various vendors. 

•    Ensuring that all procurement activities are in compliance with Company business policies, procedures and Code of Conduct. 

•    Promote awareness and ensure that all procurement activities and materials are in compliance with Company HSE policies and procedures. 

•    Managing and monitoring the operational activities of Procurement, Logistics, Inventory and Warehousing. 

•    Involve in high level of negotiations with various vendors.

 

 

To succeed, you will need  

Qualifications:

Graduate in Engineering, Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Masters in Supply chain preferred.

Years of Experience:

Minimum 8 years

Oil & Gas, Power & Energy, Petrochemical, Chemical

Amazon is looking for a Brand Specialist Team Lead to manage Amazon Vendor Services (AVS). Amazon Vendor Services are a suite of services designed to help Amazon's most strategic vendors grow and deliver the best customer experience by working across all key retail levers (e.g. selection, availability, operational efficiency, catalog quality, and marketing). The service is delivered primarily through Brand Specialists assigned to specific vendors. Amazon has an ambitious vision for the future of this service, focusing on business impact for vendors and the categories, operational scalability and vendor satisfaction.

As Brand Specialist Team Lead for Amazon Vendor Services, you will be responsible to deliver impact to a large group of strategic vendors through a team of Brand Specialists reporting to you. Your priority will be to deliver on our commitment to help vendors improve their performance across key retail metrics, ensure their satisfaction with the service and continuously improve the productivity of your team. You will work in close collaboration with Vendor Managers to understand your vendors’ needs and define the right goals and targets. You will meet Category Leaders on a regular basis to get guidance and help them with strategic decision making. Finally you will be expected to contribute to continuous enhancements and innovation within the service.

You should be passionate about managing and developing people, highly analytical, resourceful and customer focused. You need to have a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced and dynamic business environments while managing the sometimes conflicting needs of different groups of stakeholders.

Key responsibilities as a Brand Specialist Team Leader for AVS (m/f) :

- Partner with Vendor Managers and key retail category functions to define priorities and operational goals according to vendor needs

- Own the relationship with the most important vendors subscribed to the AVS service

- Define joint business plans and deliver impact to the vendors you own directly

- Manage a team of Brand Specialists owning the joint business plans for a large pool of vendors and deliver significant business impact

- Audit metrics regularly to continually drive quality of vendor and employee experience across multiple sub-categories

- Work with the AVS team to drive adoption of tools and offshore processes and drive productivity within your team

- Define the skills required within the team to support your vendors with specific problematics

- Develop the right skillsets within the team and allocate resources to vendors

- Grow and develop people into a talent pool for Amazon

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience

- 2+ years of market research analyst, product manager, or equivalent experience

- 2+ years of doing one of several roles: quantitative/financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, pricing, marketing or e-commerce experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of doing one of several roles: management consulting, investment banking analyst/associate, or brand manager role at leading consumer packaged goods company experience

- Experience in financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing, business development, consulting, negotiation or supply chain

English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher

Bloom World Academy, located in the centre of Dubai in a state-of-the-art new building/campus, is seeking to appoint a English as an Additional Language teacher to start in January 2024.

Our Story

Bloom World Academy was launched in August 2022 and educates children from ages three to 18 years. The school has been hugely successful, so far, in challenging convention and doing things differently in Dubai for the benefit of learners, families and teachers.

Every aspect of learning and teaching at Bloom World Academy has been considered - how we do it, why we do it and the impact it is having. This has directly led to many firsts for the UAE. BWA is the first school in UAE to start at 9am; the first school where each student and their family can choose their own timetable (learning pathways), and a school where each student has a Learning Achievement Passport (LAP) – where the performance and progress is shared with the student and family several times a year.

Most of all, BWA is a school which puts family-life first – we encourage parents to be in school, even work from school in our community café, attend regular workshops and to join our weekly, celebratory community forum.

English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher - the Position

Bloom World Academy is seeking creative and expert practitioners for the role of English as an Additional Language (EAL) Teacher.

As an EAL teacher, you will play a crucial role as a member of our school's Integra team to ensure all students across our school have equitable access to the curriculum. A key part of your role is to work with individual students in the classroom, as well as supporting their teachers and family so that we all work together for the benefit of our students. You must have strong subject knowledge of the English language and how to teach English to non-proficient students, who are new or developing their understanding

As an IB educator, you must display a clear commitment to developing international mindedness in your classroom and support the development of this across the school. Candidates must also have very strong interpersonal skills and a track record of building and maintaining close professional relationships, as well as display excellent written and verbal communication skills.

We are looking for a teacher with a passion in supporting every child to achieve and develop for learning and developing inclusive classroom environments where every child can succeed.

As a practitioner you should have knowledge and experience in supporting the planning of rich, engaging, and challenging learning experiences for students, have a strong knowledge of assessment and its use in the classroom, and most importantly have a passion to support and stretch students to achieve their individual potential and beyond.

Required Candidate Profile

Proficient/advanced-level English language skills

Bachelor’s degree or similar, with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent

A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role in a reputable school

A strong and unwavering commitment to ensuring our school is fully inclusive and supportive of all students

An understanding of the BELL foundation framework is desirable

Demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, commitment and integrity

Inter-cultural awareness, well-developed communication skills and excited to engage with students and parents
