JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main Duties:

Help students enhance personal, social, and academic growth
Monitor the progress of individual students
Make contact with parents to discuss student behaviour
Take steps to prevent bullying and support victims of bullying
Help students develop job search skills, such as resume writing and interviewing techniques
Help students understand and deal with social, behaviour, and personal problems
Emphasize preventive and developmental counselling to provide students with life skills needed to deal with problems before they worsen and to enhance students’ personal, social, and academic growth.
Provide special services such as conflict resolution classes; identify cases of domestic abuse and other family problems that can affect a student’s development
Specific Duties:

GROUP COUNSELLING:

Identifies areas that would be appropriate for intervention in the form of group counselling and regularly forms and leads appropriate groups.
Utilizes both large (classroom) groups and small groups to make appropriate academic and behavioural interventions.
CAREER COUNSELING:

Coordinates with the Counsellors regarding career options for students and provides appropriate information to students regarding careers.
Assists the counsellors in providing students with information for career exploration and selection to assist them in making appropriate academic course selections relating to their interests.
Maintains an appropriate library/database relating to various careers for students to utilize in their career explorations.
PERSONAL COUNSELLING:

Works with individual students and groups of students in regards to appropriate social development issues.
Maintains an awareness of cultural influences regarding social development of adolescents.
Monitors students who may be at risk in regards to social issues and makes appropriate referrals for interventions outside of school in consultation with parents.
REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science/Education in Social Work 
Minimum Experience:

Minimum of 1 year experience in school counselling or other counselling experience required 
Appropriate license to carryout student counselling
Job Specific Knowledge & Skills:

Fluent English communication skills, written and oral in order to deliver clear, proactive and effective two-way communication.
Arabic speaker is preferable
Strong interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with parents in a diverse multi-cultural environment
Ability to work flexibly as a member of a team
Result driven.
Ability to analyse information in a systematic manner to make informed decisions.
Ability to create a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing
Collaboration and teamwork
Shows positivity when faced with change, embracing it fully
Acts in a socially responsible manner
Demonstrable organizational skills
Strong desire to help others and should be able to inspire respect, trust, and confidence
Must possess high emotional and physical energy to handle the array of problems addressed.
Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding
A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.

Job Description
The Finance Officer is part of a team which administers the efficient and effective operation of all financial aspects who handles a wide range of financial responsibilities.
 

Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and posting daily revenue journals and distributing to them the Management
To assist the Financial Accountant during the monthly accounts process by ensuring the preparation and posting of journals
Ensure that the banquet department’s revenue postings are correct by reconciling the banquet “Event short list” report which is provided by the banquet manager daily.
Review of No-Show reports and ensure that all “chargeable” no-shows have been charged.
Completing daily income audit batch and sending it for review and approval, e.g., Room complimentary, Credit card reconciliation, rate variance, discount, void report, PM report, etc.
Prepare extension-wise telephone reports and submit them to all departments for review.
Validate and upload daily revenue and statistics journal into SUN ensuring all revenues are captured and in balance.
Preparation of Municipality fees reconciliation and making sure that the same is getting paid on time.
Maintaining a record of Revenue-related accrual such as 3rd party revenue share.
Maintaining a record of paid Gift vouchers and their monthly reconciliation.
Making sure that SOPs are being followed and variations should be highlighted to the concerned department.
Prepare a bank drop sheet and deposit the cash in the bank in accordance with safety rules and SOPs.
Maintain current house bank agreements or cash float agreements.
Maintain the Cash Receipt Journal spreadsheet.
Research and correct any other cashiering transactions needed.
Collect all cash/ cheque collections of the hotel from the front office drop safe daily and ensure all money is deposited in the hotel bank account in accordance with the policies and procedures laid down by the Hotel.
Preparation and posting of petty cash expenses in a timely manner.
Willing to learn and relieve other sections in finance, such as AP/ AR, Cost and store.
Qualifications

Summary

The main duty of a Travel & Assistance Officer is to manage the claims cycle about the Travel & Assistance products / services by following standard protocols, to respond to telephone / e-mail inquiries and. The incumbent is also responsible to ensure all KPI’s are achieved & dealt with the highest standards of customer service. The Department will keep a record document details of telephone conversation and actions taken, in order to make further follow-ups and corrective action as required. The Travel & Assistance Officer will work closely with the Travel & Assistance team and management ensuring that all defined standards are met with excellent customer services standards.

 

Main Tasks

•Manage the assigned tasks related to medical assistance cases.
•Evaluate medical claims according to the guidelines.
•Coordinate with different providers to ensure high quality of service when organizing medical assistance.
•Respond inbound and outbound telephone / e-mail Customer / Partners inquiries and ensure call quality monitoring
•Claims evaluation and processing activities such as checking policy, eligibility, claims creation in the system, follow up upon ongoing claims ensuring the requested turn around time and processing of claims and other tasks related to claims management
•Assist callers on claims process / procedure / network inquiries, explaining policy terms & conditions
•Accommodates Business Units / Travel / TPA International requests with regards to opening international files, placement of Guarantee of Payment, etc.
•Follow the complaints & escalation management process and log in complaints with action & resolution in the system / tools provided by the company
•Ensure proper system related tasks as creating files and Service Providers updates on the portal
•Record tasks in the productivity file, share with management and ensure reaching the level of productivity assigned
•Follow the internal processes and guidelines to ensure reaching the Operational KPIs (Quantity and Quality) and the attendance KPIs
•Request feedback in relation to the performed tasks and discuss with Team Leader the monthly scorecard results
•Monitor daily activities as per the communicated Service Level Agreement, create reports / statistics / analysis and report any deviation
•Attend training sessions as requested and participate in the departmental activities in accordance with the monthly schedule
•Attend internal meetings related to the job as per the internal requirements

•Bachelor’s of Medicine required ( preferably MBBS)
•Medical Practical Experience (reputable insurance provider, broker or a TPA experience a plus

•Fluency in Arabic (1st), French (2nd) is a plus
•Fluency in typing
•Legally permitted to work in the country of operations.
•Physically fit to carry out duties
