Group Leader, Human Resources – Dubai

In this critical role, we will expect you to coach executive level leaders on change management, organizational and talent development while collaborating with stakeholders both in & outside of the HR team. You will need to interact with various datasets to understand employee/people manager experience trends to drive continuous improvement.

Role Responsibilities

Design, build and implement the strategy and operating model for all people matters for Asia Pacific & Middle East GM and their sales organization.

Work as key advisor to business leaders to determine best approaches to employee experience across location / regions, including attraction, recruiting, retention, engagement, learning and development, performance, leadership.

Be the voice of the end-to-end employee experience to all process owners and stakeholders to identify biggest opportunities for improvements in experience.

Lead change management initiatives and support leaders in business transformation and cultural change.

Define and deliver people metrics, benchmarks, and employee experience value stream maps. 

Your role will be critical to identify problems, prioritize the business challenges & gain sponsorship to change.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes in human resources within assigned regions.

Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including time to fill, vacancy rates, engagement survey responses, attrition from our HR systems. Partner closely with HR Strategy Partners & HR Knowledge Center on service delivery.

Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and other Global HR functions (i.e. Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Benefits etc.) strategically and operationally on various initiatives / projects to ensure best approaches to employee experience.

Role Requirements

8-10 of progressive responsibility in human resources management for a large sized, multinational firm or major corporate division. 

Strong business orientation and understanding of global market dynamics.

Strong organizational effectiveness skills (group dynamics, new business development, cross-matrix expertise). 

Strong record in leading People & Culture functions within an international, financial services environment

Ability to develop, present and influence strategic plans and policies to senior management coupled with the proven capability to implement.

Experience working within highly matrixed environments.

Experience in fast-passed environment where ability to take decisions and have sound judgement is a must.

Preference to have Asia Pacific and Middle East HR experience.

Able to take a strong leadership role in implementing policies and procedures to support organizational objectives.

Able to have transparent and productive relationships with peers and collaborate successfully.

Ability to do business with an absolute commitment to the ethics, honesty, and credibility.

Proven success in developing employees through new opportunities and challenges, recognizing, and rewarding high performers, and embracing diversity and varied perspectives.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Reporting to the Senior Director of International Marketing and as a vital member of the APJ-MEA Marketing team, you will spearhead our go-to-market strategy in MEA. This pivotal role encompasses campaigns, demand generation, and digital strategy, ensuring that our regional investments and efforts align seamlessly with overarching company objectives. You will work hand-in-glove with the Middle East and Africa General Manager and maintain active collaborations with both the Partner Success Manager and Distributor Account Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Develop a comprehensive understanding and personal perspective of both the Middle East & Africa markets.

Collaborate effectively with business and sales teams to drive tangible business outcomes.

Construct, own, and execute the go-to-market plans, strategy, and partnership motions tailored for both regions.

Collaborate intimately with our Global Marketing teams, particularly across SEM/SEO sectors, as well as with the Global Campaigns and Digital Teams.

Manage and optimize MDFs (Market Development Funds) and SDFs (Sales Development Funds).

Develop and execute partner marketing campaigns that align with the company's strategic goals and foster partner relationships.

Lead establishing and nurturing relationships within the MEA Cyber Security Community, including key vendors, agencies, and associations.

Familiarity with UAE's National Cybersecurity Strategy 2019 and their Eco-System would be an added advantage

Be prepared for up to 50% travel to collaborate with Partner Success Managers and Distributors Account Managers, meet sales leaders, engage partners, and participate in crucial events.

Exhibit superior project management skills, working diligently under tight deadlines and ensuring timely campaign deliveries.

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

A minimum of 12 years in marketing, with a solid understanding of the cybersecurity domain.

Proven experience in a B2B environment, especially with high-tech products/services. Prior experience with enterprise software is preferred.

A robust portfolio showcasing your involvement with cybersecurity associations.

Demonstrable skills in digital marketing, social media, and a keen eye for detail, both written and verbal.

Adeptness at cross-group collaboration, gaining consensus, and driving deliverables both internally and with external partners.

Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets that align with the company's marketing and sales objectives.

Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, matched with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

A bachelor's or higher degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

About The Role

We are looking for a digital trading manager, for a 2 year contract, who will be responsible for the strategy and execution of all online trading activities for the relevant web site that will deliver a best-in-class customer satisfaction that drives significant and sustainable business growth.  

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  You will have full P&L responsibility for the relevant website. Develop budgets and monitor monthly costs.

  Execute the day-to-day management of online trading to ensure effective and timely delivery and continuous growth through sales optimization in line with the commercial business plan.

Drive sell thru and conversion by overseeing the maintenance and improvement of the website, ensuring all products are accurately represented, stylishly merchandised and smartly promoted.

Thoroughly understand on site customer behavior to optimize customer journey and experience to maximize product visibility and sales performance.

Monitor the ongoing performance of online promotions making any recommendations for change and feeding this back to the Head of Digital Trading.

Work closely with Digital Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Digital Product/ Portfolio teams and provide coordination with current B&M Commercial, Finance, Merchandising, Logistics and Store Operations. Ensure all departments involved provide the required information in a timely manner.

Oversee the digital commerce marketing plan to drive consumer traffic and conversion together with Digital Marketing and other Marketing functions within the business.

Work closely with Senior Digital Marketing Manager to support ongoing optimizations to grow sales - on-site search, bounce rate, page load, site conversion rate etc.

Conduct ad-hoc research on competitors in the different markets and the trading conditions and send this information to the Head of Digital Trading.

Ensure maximum product exposure across the website and all marketing channels, ensuring featured products and messaging match marketing direction and inventory.

Provide weekly reports based on KPIs which includes analyses and required/recommended actions.

Create weekly sales reports creating best and worst sellers lists, working with the digital marketing team to promote where necessary.

Ensure optimization of forecasting, stock levels and develop strategies and actions to address any high/low performing categories.

Monitor the website daily across multiple devices, facilitating the quick and efficient resolution of any errors.

Monitor site inventory, insuring all adds, deletes and adjustments are updated according to established specifications and timeframes.

Coordinate with Digital Analytics Manager to maximize customer site behavior using digital analytics, selling and performance metrics.

Support web analytics and help produce reports for distribution to Senior Management. Use analysis to draw conclusive insights, highlighting opportunities and reacting accordingly. Use key metrics (e.g., sales, traffic, conversion, and CRM data) to make timely and commercial trading decisions and respond to customer, competitor, and market behavior.

Remain up to date on current and emerging technologies and trends and how they can be incorporated into the existing business plan.

 About You

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related discipline.

Experience: 8+ years of strategic E-commerce Trading experience in a similar role.

Other requirements:·       Str

ong numerical and analytical commercial skills, advanced Excel user.

·       Knowledge of E-Commerce benchmarks and best practices for optimal user experience that result in customer acquisition, retention, and growth.

·       Experience of using Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.

·       Knowledge in Google Analytics, Omniture, Core metrics or another web analytics tool.

·       Ability to multi-task and efficiently manage workload.

·       High level of verbal and written communication skills.

·       Creative problem-solving skills.

·       Enthusiasm and proactive approach.

·       Ability to work in a team.

·       Highly organized with great attention to detail.
