Classification: Administrative

Reports to: Inventory Manager

Job Descriptions:

Inventory Clerk records the movements of goods. Receive goods and keep them in store.

Issue goods when needed or requested. Maintain stock records using manual and/or computerized systems.

Prepare inventories.

Monitor adjusted inventories, spoilt or damaged stock and changes in stock location.

Counts material, equipment, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using computer.

Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.

Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material.

Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.

Operates office devices, such as computer or fax machine.

Oracle fusion experience is a must.

Key Responsibilities of inventory clerk include:

Prepares inventory in the beginning of academic year of current materials, equipment and supplies available.

Monitor the movements of goods and update records as possible.

Received goods upon delivery and counter check against the purchase order before keeping in the store or issuance.

Prepare a database to record all materials, equipment and supplies as purchased and update in the inventory.

Count and update records manually or computerized.

Please note that all being issued must be signed out by the receiver for proper control and monitoring.

Prepare inventory for the end of the year.

Check in all signed out materials, equipment and supply.

Educational Qualification:

Completed Senior High or college level

Two year’s experience in the same field

Proficiency in working with personal computers and other related hardware/software.

Mechanical Technician, A.P. Moller - Maersk, Hidd, Bahrain

PURPOSE

 Maintains and repairs equipment in Quay crane, RTG sections and mobile equipment.

 Troubleshooting and diagnostics of Cranes (STS and RTG), heavy and light terminal equipment

Education:

Requires a high school diploma or higher and additional vocational/technical training in both mechanical/hydraulic fields in any heavy industries and specific technical knowledge of maintenance and repair of quay cranes, rubber-tired gantry cranes

Experience:

At least 5 to 7 years of experience in Port/heavy industry as a mechanical technician in Cranes, Steel industry, ship repair yard, or other big industrial companies.

Specialized Knowledge:

Requires specific technical knowledge in the maintenance and repair of quay cranes, rubber tyred gantry cranes and spreaders.

Experienced in Diesel engine overhauling, trouble shooting and maintenance.

Experienced in Hydraulic systems overhauling, trouble shooting and maintenance.

Experience in Gearbox overhauling and Diagnosis.

Experience in replace/repair/adjust major mechanical/hydraulic parts such as brakes, wire-ropes, trolley, gantry wheels, hydraulic systems, gearboxes, couplings, and so forth.

Hands on experience on Major mechanical overhauls for at least 2 years.

Requires an ability to be responsive to emergency breakdowns and repairs, and continuing with the assignment until finished, with quality workmanship and service.

Basic electrical/electronic knowledge.

Skills:

Requires ability to interpret mechanical/electrical and electronic diagrams.

ability to interpret Hydraulic circuits diagrams.

Understand Basic safety job requirements

Requires elementary 3 level verbal and written communications skills in English.

Requires good interpersonal skills.

Must be able to exercise good judgment in order to set priorities.

Requires Bahraini driver’s license, with good driving record.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Receptionist will report directly to the Parental Relation Executive. The primary role is to ensure that all visitors, staff and students are welcomed and that all general enquiries at the main reception are dealt with in a timely and effective manner. The position is a varied and exciting role. The ideal candidate will need to work closely with all departments. Essential qualities should be friendliness, confidence and approachability with a “can-do attitude”.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the first contact person to the school, the receptionist ensures positive customer satisfaction during all interactions with existing and potential parents, visitors, staff, and students.

To act as the first point of contact for all visitors, parents and students, answering any general enquiries directing them to respective departments.

Present a welcoming and professional manner remembering you are the first impression of the school.

Answer all calls and assist with telephone enquiries in a timely friendly manner.

Redirect calls to relevant departments, take messages and relay information to staff or students.

Responsible for distributing messages and items left for students and teachers at the reception.

Ensuring the reception area is always tidy and well organised and stocked with marketing materials.

Manage complaints where possible or refer them to the appropriate department.

Maintaining accurate daily attendance registers.

Checking all parents and visitors ID upon arrival at reception.

Fire Drill Procedure - responsible for maintaining accurate class lists for Fire Drills, producing evacuation plans and routes for classrooms.

Provide an accurate and full range of information within the category requested (location, curriculum, admission procedure – including the booking of tours, tour information, administration, structure, etc..) to ensure the delivery of a quality customer service experience to all callers or visitors to the school.

Actively support the Admissions team by contacting enquiries, conducting school tours wherever necessary, and assist in enrolment events as and when required.
