Overview

We are seeking a Senior Production Director to join the Media Production Division of the Communications Content & Channels Department.

The Media Production Division is responsible for providing high-end video production, photography, archive and broadcast radio services that provide quality content for the communication needs of Saudi Aramco.

The Senior Production Director’s primary role is to work within the Media Production Audio Visual Unit, working with other key team members and pre-production, production and post production staff to produce and direct creative and engaging corporate video programs for events, social media and other corporate video needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Production Director will creatively produce and direct corporate video programs to the highest standard, from creative concept through to finished product, utilizing specialist personnel and equipment at the Media Production Division’s state-of-the-art facilities.  When required, you will provide guidance and training to Junior members of the Media Production Team.  You will be required to interpret technical briefs, work with clients and create creative and technical proposals, including, when necessary, script writing.  You will lead a fully equipped camera team utilizing some of the latest high-end professional production equipment.  You will be adept at creative studio and location direction.  You will be able to direct professional video editors, 2D & 3D graphic designers, compositors, color graders and sound designers.  The majority of programming is produced in English and so a fully fluent, preferably native written & spoken ability in English is required.  Fluency in Arabic is desired, but not essential. You will be able to present concepts and completed work for review to senior management and external dignitaries.

Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in communications media, film, television or related creative discipline from a recognized and approved program.

You will have ten years’ experience in the video production industry, including at least five in a role as a Senior Production Director.  You will have a detailed CV / resume detailing your professional history, including clients and previous projects completed, with hyperlinks to previous work samples and/or showreels.  You must have a solid understanding of the video pre-production, production and post production industry, including a wide range of modern technical video formats. This should include a strong mix of high-end corporate, documentary and commercial / short form promo projects.  You will be able to work quickly and efficiently and deliver creative results to tight deadlines.

QC Inspector - Product testing, Flowserve, Al Khobar, KSA

Role Summary:

In this role you will perform product testing of valves including, but not limited to, functional testing, Shell Pressure test, Closure test, DBB/DIB test as per documented procedures and safety policy. You will also perform dimensional inspection as per GA drawing, ASME B16.5/16.47, API 6D and visual inspection of product as per valve data sheet, GA drawing and checklist. QC inspector will coordinate his activities to QC supervisor, planning and production. Office timing will be Either Day or Night shift. The QC Inspector reports directly to the QC Supervisor/Manager.

Your Role:

Conducting valve testing after assembly e.g. Hydrostatic shell test, Functional test and Hydrostatic seat test.

Perform dimensional and visual inspection on final product and in-process inspection.

Ensure the product perform as per standard procedure and check functions in a satisfactory manner.

Ensure to use calibrated instrument on testing process.

Record the results on the traveler and sign off the report for release to next process. QA passed sticker to be on the product after successful testing.

Maintain high level of housekeeping.

Coordinate with Quality Engineers, production and maintenance on product that fails testing, machine failure and improvement suggestion.

Comply with SHEA policy and report policy violation and hazard. Has authority to stop work if there is unsafe act or condition.

Your Profile:

High school diploma or a technical vocational course (2 years).

2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or valve industry.

Knowledge of the established quality standards, laws and regulations of national and international authorities.

Must have knowledge of inspection equipment generally found in machining, assembly and test operations.

Effective utilization of CMMs is a plus.

Flexible, eager to learn, accurate, analytical with positive, can-do attitude.

Flexibility and willingness to travel.

Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analytical and presentation skills.

Problem solving skills.

Passed visual test on Near vision acuity minimum Jaegar 1 or greater, colour vision and shades of gray.

Ornua is a dairy co-operative which sells dairy products on behalf of its Member Co-ops, Ireland’s dairy processors and, in turn, Irish dairy farmers. It is Ireland’s largest exporter of Irish dairy products, exporting to 110 countries worldwide. Headquartered in Dublin, it has annualized sales of over €3 billion and a global team of 3,000 employees. Ornua operates from 10 business units worldwide, including 16 production facilities, and has sales and marketing teams working in-market across all four corners of the globe. The Group is structured across two divisions: Ornua Foods and Ornua Ingredients. Ornua Foods is responsible for the marketing and sales of Ornua’s consumer brands including Kerrygold, Dubliner, Pilgrims Choice, Forto and BEO. Key Responsibilities 

 

Actively experiment with new approaches and methods and document the research process. 

Lead the development and commercialization stages of the New Product Development (NPD) process, ensuring innovative new products will make our portfolio while bringing competitive advantages. 

Work closely with our sales and the customers to develop products appropriate for their application with consideration for their manufacturing lines. 

Ensure prototypes are developed with required functionality according to supplied information and within Ornua turn-around time parameters and to requested timetables when appropriate.  Ensure all product testing meets analytical, application and functional performance per customer requirements. 

Continually investigate new ingredients, technologies, and equipment for producing, safe, high quality food products more cost efficiently 

Conduct on-going sensory/organoleptic analyses of Ornua products as required. 

Conduct challenge studies and shelf-life studies where appropriate on new products. 

Organize and execute customer presentations and trade shows.  Be on site as needed to explain usage and show examples of product, applications, and capabilities. 

Work with the R&D team to always maintain a clean and orderly lab. 

Proactively research market trends and develop new applications/concepts for use of Ornua cheese. 

Work with customers for solutions to their challenges and build relationships with Customer NPD teams / Developers and decision makers. 

 

Key Requirements and Competencies: 

  

Bachelor’s degree in food, Dairy, or related scientific field with 5+ years of industrial experience or advanced degree (MS/PhD) in closely related scientific field 

Must have valid driver’s license with flexibility to travel and visit customers up to 25% of the time. 

Dairy industry background, preferably cheese or processed cheese industry. 

Multi-project experience in product development 

Regional and International experience would be advantageous. 

 

Preferred Experience requirements  

 

Technical knowledge of applying recombination Technology to make cheese products.  

Experience working in application lab, pilot plant systems and with laboratory instrumentation. 

Experience working in Food industry - B2B product development, formulation, and commercialization of cheese/dairy/food products.   

Familiarity with SFDA (Saudi Food & Drug Authority regulations) cheese standards, and dairy products guidelines, definitions, nutritional and labelling claims. 

Experience or familiarity working with starch systems, protein matrices and/or plant-based cheese. 

Culinary experience designing custom applications with custom cheese ingredients will be a plus.   

Working knowledge of sensory science and texture analysis techniques

5-7 years
