Flow Control business line delivers mission-critical flow control technologies and services for the continuously evolving needs of various process industries. We help our customers to improve their process performance and environmental efficiency, and to ensure the safe flow of materials.

We are looking for a Quotation and Order Handling Engineer to strengthen our Flow Control team in Saudi Arabia. The role is based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Your mainly activities will be:

Control valves and on-off valves technical review of inquiry documents and processing quotations, sizing and selections to customers to meet their technical requirements, commercial conditions from sales, and delivery times from the factory.

Application review and recommendations.

All post quotation technical queries, modifications. 

Placing factory orders and providing technical support to sales team. 

General technical support to customers and agents. 

Order expediting and document flow. 

Project info updates. 

Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.

Keep using Valmet Learning to be up to date with regards to Flow Control products and applications

What you will need to be successful in the role:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 

Technical 3+ years experience in Application Engineering. 

Knowledge of Flow Control products. 

Customer oriented approach.

Saudi nationality (preferable).

About the job

Main responsibilities:

The Transplant Commercial Lead is accountable for creating and implementing the country-level HCP engagement and sales plans, including shared goals with key stakeholders. The role will be expected to:

Pull in the external area and prioritize account-level insights, proactively and continually, to ensure delivery of the country's goals and contribute to the GG Brand and Portfolio Integrated Growth Plans.

Develop and implement tactical sales plans consistent with the global business strategy to maximize market share and achieve sales and profitability targets.

Main Tasks

Sales Target Achievement

Develop the customer roadmaps to facilitate the achievement of medium and long-term business growth objectives.

Develop and implement tactical sales plans consistent with the global business strategy to maximize market share and achieve sales and profitability targets.

Liaise closely with distributors to achieve the planned objectives.

Customer Engagement 

Contribute to the development of and implement marketing and customer engagement plans to penetrate the markets and identify opportunities to maximize business growth.

Engage effectively through the execution of personalized omnichannel strategies that provide unrivalled customer experience.

Agile Framework 

Be part of an Agile squad working within a scrum framework; Play a critical role in the squad's progress towards the shared business objectives. 

Develop and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships and partnerships to ensure the best market execution, leading to acceleration the growth of Sanofi's business.  

Bringing new ideas and ways of working, striving for results, and achievement of an enhanced customer experience. 

Maintain Compliance 

Abide by the requirements of the internal Code of Ethics including, but not restricted to, maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company.

Ensure that all sales personnel complete all the necessary training and adhere to current SOP’s relevant to their function.

Ethical Leadership 

Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements) and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.

Escalates any decisions, or seeks the support of colleagues or management if personal knowledge and understanding is not at the level required to carry out any part of the role

Health, Safety and Environment Responsibilities 

To care for his/her own safety and wellbeing and the safety of others, and to co-operate with the company to ensure a safe place of work. Employees are therefore expected to:

Support and conform to Company HSE rules and procedures to ensure a safe, healthy, and pollution free work environment.

Engage the HSE department in the related activities (where applicable), and be sure that the work performed is in compliance with the local HSE regulations, Corporate HSE Policy and key requirements.

Demonstrate commitment to HSE through active involvement in the related programs and campaigns.

Participate in HSE/ Road safety committee meetings and give input to improve the program.

Follow HSE guidelines and take all necessary measures applicable to effectively implement the ‘HSE action plan (PASS)’ in work area and the activities.

Promote and follow the HSE rules and ‘Act responsibly’ to protect yourself and others from injury and ill health conditions while at the work locations and/or while using road e.g traffic rules, emergency evacuation procedures, medical surveillance, healthy lifestyle etc.

Follow the company’s road safety program.

Ensure a periodic evaluation and actions related to ‘road safety coaching and assessment of District Sales Managers.

Periodically check and ensure all cars (including the team member’s car) are timely serviced and maintained and are in roadworthy condition, which includes but is not limited to checking the physical condition of the car, validity of the driver license, car insurance, maintenance record, tire conditions etc

Identify HRD (High-risk Drivers) and make recommendations for the training.

Attend HSE training and schedule the team members to attend the same.

Report all the accidents/incidents (if any) to the HSE Manager and investigate within the area of responsibility.

Thoroughly read all HSE instructions, procedures, and policies issued by the Company, and comply with its requirements. Escalate any doubts or uncertainties to the Line Manager.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS 

Education Level : 

Bachelor’s degree in a medical field (Medicine, Pharmacy).

An MBA is a plus.

Experience: 

Minimum 7 experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Minimum 5 Years in marketing/sales management, customer engagement, or similar roles.

Transplant business experience is a plus.

We are looking for a driven and curious client-focused Thermal Power Start Up and Commissioning Supervisors to grow with our team.  We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions from replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable energy to developing demand side management strategies.

As the Start Up and Commissioning Supervisor, you will report to the client’s Commissioning Manager and will be part of the Client’s Program management team for new critical thermal power projects – including both gas turbine and reciprocating engine technologies running on both liquid and gas fuels. This will include but not limited to owner coordination and overall project testing, oversight of the project startup and commissioning activities through to occupancy and handover to the Operations and Maintenance teams.  This position is client facing and would be the direct contact as Owners Representative with an emphasis on ensuring testing, start up and commissioning.

General responsibilities include:  

Provide on-site post construction management oversight during equipment and pipelines testing, equipment calibration, start up and commissioning, and documentation during both the design and construction process.  

Responsible for coordination between Owner and Contractor for all start up and commissioning tasks and activities.

Serve as a witness for all Equipment Test and Startup activities.

Interfaces with Owners/Clients to define project requirements to minimize the equipment’s downtimes.   

Reviews Contractor’s construction schedule in terms of adequate durations and logistical sequence for startup and testing, commissioning, and training tasks and activities, and aligns project work plan and deadlines with deliveries.  

Review on-site startup and testing processes, procedures, and systems for compliance with construction drawings and specifications, safety and security requirements, other contractual terms, and applicable codes.  

Startup and Testing Meetings’ attendance (on-site/off-site or video conferencing) and provides timely official project status reports (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, etc.).  

Provides technical support on a daily basis to all assigned projects.

Directs field oversight for all Startup and Commissioning activities at the project site in accordance with pre-established policies, project schedules, drawings, specifications, contractual terms, plans and procedures.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

About you:

Minimum requirements shall be a Professional Engineer (preferable electrical or mechanical) with at least 10 years of experience within the power generation industry.  Technical experience in a startup and commissioning, operation and construction in a power utility business is desirable. 

Experience in working with, and interfacing with, multiple equipment manufacturers, vendors, and technical advisory personnel during the asset-wide commissioning process

Experience with coordination with Utility Owners and Engineers to develop design, construction, and testing documents.

Experience with reviewing design document submittals, reviewing construction schedule and cost estimates, collecting, preparing, and reporting programmatic information.   

Experience in startup and commissioning activities including but not limited to testing, training, loop checks, functional test, acceptance, and performance tests.  

Experience in working in Saudi Arabia and in the Middle East is preferred

Ability to analyze all relevant project-related information and communicate project status and major issues in writing or verbally.  

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, interpret contract terms and conditions, communication skills, intermediate computer skills and leadership skills.  

Proactive communicator who can utilise the wider skills within an organisation to provide effective solutions to key client issues at short notice

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams) and Industry Project software packages.
