Job Description: Finance Manager (Dubai)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Finance manager to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with 5 – 7 years of relevant experience. 

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company in Dubai.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.

Conduct regular financial forecasting and risk assessment to support strategic decision-making.

Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, and implement strategies to optimize working capital.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations for business growth and cost optimization.

Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Mentor and guide junior finance team members, fostering their professional development.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in financial regulations in Dubai.

Qualifications:

Certified chartered Accountant is a plus.

Proven experience of 5 - 7 years in finance and accounting roles, preferably in Dubai.

Strong knowledge of Dubai financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.

Advanced skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any related field

 

Professional Certificates

AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect

Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (desired)

ITIL 4 Foundation (desired)

Salesforce Certified Administrator and/or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1 (desired)

Knowledge

Experience with product development methodologies.

Familiarity with ERP market trends and technologies.

Strong understanding of CRM best practices and Salesforce's technical capabilities.

Knowledge of Certinia [FinancialForce], SAP SuccessFactors and Jira Cloud is highly desired.

You will be part of the Operations & Policy Management  team, reporting to the Head of Operations (GCC)  and  responsible for managing, driving and operating improvements actions & monitoring fronter relationship '

Contributes to our company’s transformation strategy and to improve customer & broker satisfaction by ensuring operational excellence

RCC KPI's monitoring and provide timely feedback to RCC teams thus ensuring proper delivery of  policy set up and issuance + customer accounting KPI's according to SLA and quality standards

Monitor, assess and support improvement initiatives and Compass Implementation in order to continue to deliver value in a changing & digital era preparing stakeholders for upcoming challenges (digitalization, outsourcing, Agile, Compass, iMX, Allianz trade online etc)

Act as 1st level of control on RCC managed processes and emergency back-up for PM & Ops processes

Contribute to transversal projects and to internal (or external) audits and follow the related action plans

Performs (in legacy and new systems) new business, renewals, contract drafting, mid term amendments, TOD recording, chasing and analysis, invoicing premium, fees, bonus & malus, brokerage fee calculation, reporting for PM/MMCD committees and all other PM related activities, defect management & follow-up and ensures adherence to Group Ticketing KPI's

Ensures PM related support for both UAE & KSA based TCI commercial team

Takes action on the perimeters of issues (simplified diagnosis, supporting implementation of new actions)

Indentifies and leads on-site action cross-functional to the Organization (improvement of end-to-end process)

Liaison point with RCC and Commercial Teams

Manages fronter relationship & escalations + structured follow-ups to ensure timely policy & invoice issuance

Coaches informally peers in the continuous improvement dynamic on a daily basis thus supporting the generation of new ideas and initiatives

Challenges the teams on which continuous improvement actions are to be implemented based on business analysis performed with head of Operations and PM & advises on proper resource management for company projects

Supports the implementation of lean approach

Contributes to transversal projects and to internal (or external) audits and follows the related action plans

Facilitating workshops

Performing quatitative data analysis

Supporting the identification and launching of improvement actions

Suggests and operates improvement actions, monitors correct functionality of existing solutions and maintains BCM plan for RPA & Macro solutions implemented

Participates in tracking benefits & KPI monitoring post project implementations (eg  Broker Ambassador , CAP CAP+, DCL by Grade, Customer Ambassador, Service Model etc).

Consolidates local projects and their impact / savings (is not responsible for the project but makes KPIs visible and people accountable)

Shares lean progress on a monthly basis for  discussions with local board

Consolidates and follows-up on Project resources feedbacks

Provides support for different presentations (BRM)

Provides support to Commercial team with urgent requests outside RCC SLA

Support the commercial effort while advising adapted and costs effective solutions (extended deal team / advisory role) for our policyholders, brokers, fronters and internal customers. If required, accompany teams on most complex cases and engages personally in management of top accounts. Act as senior SuperUser & Tester in Compass iMX and Allianz Trade Online  implementation as well as Pluriform SuperUser for all New Product implementations & act as back-up SuperUser for Non Regression TestingContribute to the commercial actions of development of customer loyalty

Key requirements/What you bring

Educational requirements

Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Management

Functional knowledge

Fully computer literate, advanced Excel & PowerPoint,

Macro VBA, RPA Business Analyst or Community developer is an advantage

English C2 level

Good knowledge of Lean Methodology & Process mapping tools & Jira + D02 prioritization tool

Good business acumen (contract management, customer accounting)

Business expertise

2-3 years of Project management experience; Lean Methodology, Green Belt Six Sigma is an advantage

Expertise in project management is an advantage

Previous Policy Management experience is an advantage

Compass experience is an advantage

Systems SuperUser experience is an advantage

Interpersonal Skills

Self-motivated with ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines

Proactive /  self starter with ability to prioritise and strong organisational / time management skills

Ability to convince/influence

Excellent communication skills

Effective stakeholder management  (varying disciplines / seniority)

Very good communication skills, ability to exprese ideeas in a structured way

Team spirit

Very good problem solving skills (analysis, decision, comunication, autonomy)
