SUMMARY:

The Junior & Product Technical Trainer supports the business to achieve its retail network competence goals by delivering training to employees and distributors across Middle East - technical training to technicians and technical product training to multiple dealer job roles.

NATURE AND SCOPE:

The Trainer delivers training to two different audiences of employees from Middle East distributors. 

Technical training covers core dealer curriculum, new product information and additional topics. It is delivered to dealership technicians.

Product training is delivered to Sales and After-sales dealer employees, as part of new product launch training or regular product training. The trainer focuses on communicating the technical elements of product information to “non-technical” employees.

Training takes place either in the Middle East Training Centre, Dubai South or using a virtual-learning platform.

The Trainer is responsible for ensuring learners grasp the course information and can perform the tasks described in the course learning objectives. The Trainer uses training satisfaction survey feedback to adjust and improve his/her training performance.

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Training

·           Deliver automotive technical training in blended learning design

·           Assist staff in the provision of technical advice within the automotive retailer network

·           Deliver new product launch training, as well as technical assessments.

·           Maintain a continuous awareness of all requirements associated with assigned courses

·           Working directly with Training Managers, contribute to the development of new course material, or amend existing material

·           Use LMS to monitor and maintain the quality of the training provision

·           Maintain training tools and IT equipment in the Training Centre·

·           Support day-to-day management of the Training Centre and report equipment maintenance / recalibration requirements.

  Professional Development

·           Attend sponsored “Train the Trainer” workshops

·           Continue professional development formally through client and GP Strategies initiatives, and informally through self-study and monitoring training                 satisfaction survey results.

·           Develop professional competence in both specific technical knowledge and generally in training facilitation skills and learning design

·           Progressively work towards a “regular” Trainer level of competency, is aware of Evacuation Plan and Emergency Contacts

·           Rigorously follows Health & Safety procedures

·           Highlights and explains Health & Safety procedures to learners and monitors learners’ safety behavior throughout training

·           Identifies and takes immediate action to mitigate risks

·           Immediately reports accidents, near misses and hazards to Facility Management

 QUALIFICATIONS and/or EQUIVALENT WORK EXPERIENCE:

·           3+ years’ experience years working experience in a modern automotive dealership

·           Technical training delivery experience is beneficial

·           Practical experience in the areas of Drivetrain, Electrical, Interface, Chassis

·           Proficient in MS Office suite

·           Excellent soft skills (e.g., communication, social, respect for different cultures etc.)

·           Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic

·           Media competences (VCT, handling modern media e.g., flipcharts, PIN board, MIRO etc.) beneficial

·           Passion to deliver high quality delegated focused training which meets the local market

·           Self-starter and driven

·           Willingness to travel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Based full-time at the Middle East Training Centre, Logistics Centre, Dubai South. Some days can be worked from home, based on agreement by supervisor and the business.

International travel will occasionally be required for either face-to-face training at client distributors throughout the Middle East region, or TTT events usually held in Germany.

Job Purpose

Facilitates forecasting and demand planning process in MEA

Responsible for ensuring project level forecast from the business is translated into a detailed product forecast and supply plan in OMP

Lead and support SLOB reduction demand initiative for the region including root cause analysis

Tracks performance in all main KPIs impacting the function and performs full root cause analysis where we deviate from target

Regular reporting of sales progression through the month and providing updates and solutions on key barriers that prevent achievement of monthly targets

 

Key Accountabilities

Key role to help coordinate data for Demand Control, Demand Reviews and Commercial Review meetings and can deputise when manager is not available for these key monthly & weekly meetings

Leading monthly SLOB Reviews with Sales and/or Customer Service team

Leading / Assisting weekly Demand Control meeting with Demand, Supply Planning & Customer Service teams

Ensure good communication and integration with other planning teams, manufacturing (scheduling), logistics, customer care and other stakeholders. 

Responsible for all products forecast in relevant systems (EyeOn / DART / SAP etc) for defined regions within M&P business in MEA

Forecast accuracy measurement, reporting and root cause analysis / review of biggest variances

Support projects and process improvement to enhance performance and efficiency of the required planning activities (SLOBs, planning, forecasting etc.)

Assistance to the Product Range Management process including meeting attendance & forecast management for NPI/ upcoming deletions

Provide inputs to the PMR, SMR and MBR parts of the IBP process

Requirements

University degree with experience in Demand/Supply Planning

Expert in SAP and BI

Experience in IBP processes and Demand/Supply Planning tools

Advanced Excel knowledge required.

Numerate, analytical and results oriented

Good communicator, can work well in team and individually, willing to challenge others

As a Training & Maintenance Supervisor in the field of Aviation Aircraft Refueling, Aviation Fuel Handling, and Maintenance of Into-Plane Refueling Vehicles, you will be responsible for overseeing the training programs and maintenance operations related to refueling aircraft and handling aviation fuel. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating training activities, managing maintenance schedules, and supervising a team of refueling technicians. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the efficiency, reliability, and safety of always refueling operations.

Responsibilities:

Training Program Management:

Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for refueling technicians and front-line barrier management positions ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Design training materials, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to facilitate effective learning and consistent performance.

Conduct training sessions to educate new hires and existing staff on refueling techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.

Maintenance Oversight:

Coordinate maintenance schedules for into-plane refueling vehicles, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs and recommend appropriate actions.

Collaborate with maintenance teams to prioritize and address maintenance issues promptly, minimizing downtime and optimizing vehicle performance.

Ensure the maintenance budget is optimized.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure adherence to safety regulations, protocols, and guidelines throughout all refueling operations.

Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to aviation fuel handling and aircraft refueling operations.

Conduct safety self-assurance/ audits, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment.

Team Supervision:

Provide leadership and guidance to a team of refueling technicians and front-line barrier management positions promoting a positive work culture and high-performance standards.

Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, other departments, and external stakeholders.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of training activities, certifications, maintenance schedules, and inspection reports.

Generate reports on training outcomes, maintenance activities, and safety performance for management review.

Collaborate with regulatory authorities during audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation and supporting compliance efforts.

What we need from You

Bachelor's degree in aviation management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications and experience will also be considered.

Proven experience in aviation refueling operations, fuel handling, and maintenance of into-plane refueling vehicles.

In-depth knowledge of aviation industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.

Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
