Job Description

10+ years of hands-on experience developing and applying data-driven solutions in a corporate or consulting setting

A MSc in machine learning, computer engineering, computer science, or related fields

Experience working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka

Strong experience in SQL (MS SQL, MySQL .. etc)

Delivery of Data Lake / Big Data projects (including data ingestion, machine learning model application, code deployment)

Experience with Python, Cloud infrastructure (Azure, GCP) and DevOps (Docker, CI/CD)

Experience with Cloud infrastructure services (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Data Bricks, Azure SQL DB, Azure SQL Warehouse, Azure Virtual Machines)

Experience with the Google stack (BigQuery, Google Analytics) and web development (JavaScript) is a plus

Team player with skills to pull in relevant team members to address identified needs

Strong desire to learn and develop within a dynamic organization

Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure and prioritise an approach for maximum impact

Project management skills (Agile)

Previous experience in real estate is a plus

Key Accountabilities & Tasks

Work with Head of Data Management to ensure integrity and consistency of data and that underlying data infrastructure is up to the standard.

Support Head of Data Management with collating data for proposals and recommendations.

Understand complexity of operations and data collected and propose methods to improve architecture gaps for data collection, aggregation, and exposition for different analytics purposes.

Work with vendors and consultants to understand their infrastructure tools and methodologies.

Integrate and maintain data sources into the Data Lake.

Create optimised Data Marts for specific business use cases that will be feed BI platform (Power BI)

Create data models that are required for the business

Work with IT Operations to maintain the data infrastructure (e.g. Data Lake)

Ensure all data pipelines are working and data lineage is accurate.

Ensure all SLAs for the data pipelines are all met in time.

Deploy ML models in production environment.

Ensure all new and old queries within Data Lake pipelines are optimised for efficient performance.

Ensure that all automated reports (daily, weekly and monthly) are all up and running.

Perform detailed research on latest ETLs/ELTs frameworks and languages that can support business requirements.

Design, build, and maintain communication between services using APIs and REST APIs.

Test and maintain data infrastructure by performing stress tests, UATs, etc.

Your Role

Job description

In order to facilitate continuously our increasing demand for service and contribute to the overall business growth and customers’ satisfaction we are looking for a Field Service Engineer within Compressor Technique Service (CTS) team.

The main responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Provide quality and timely service and maintenance to our local industrial compressed air customers as assigned by the service planner.

- Perform problem solving, repair and commissioning activities as assigned by the service planner.

- Apply related and necessary Safety & Health measures while providing service both at the customer site and in the workshop.

- Comply with all site specific rules and regulations together with relevant Safety & Health specifications and training.

- Utilize and maintain the special tools dedicated for different service activities.

- Promote Atlas Copco corporate values and image while providing service to the customers.

- Promote Atlas Copco CTS service products to customers.

- Duties include machine repair, preventive maintenance work, overhaul of compressors, compressed air dryers, commissioning of compressors, compressed air systems, and compressor management systems

To succeed, you will need

Experience requirements

- Proven experience in compressed air technology and applications.

- Proven mechanical and/or electrical experience, preferably with compressed air equipment and ancillaries

- Experience in service delivery and on acting as customer interface while working in the field

-Proven experience in the installation and application of compressors and compressed air systems.

-Minimum 2 years hands on experience in the field with all compressor technologies: piston, screws, centrifugal, single stage and multistage.

-High-pressure piston compressors and boosters experience is considered as an additional value.

-Proven experience with compressed air dryers, refrigerated twin tower desiccant, relative dew point dryers

-Good understanding of electrical ladder logic diagrams, main motor controls as an additional value.

-Experience with competition equipment considered beneficial

- Service experience in oil and gas applications and industry is a plus

- Proven experience with Variable Speed Drive’s, advanced electrical knowledge and able to install, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting any VSD

- Proven experience in Gateways and Networking knowledge: Modbus TCP/IP, ProfiNet, SmartView, Optimizer 4.0, Smart2SCADA and Smart2NET+

Knowledge

Must have a good grasp of basic compressed air engineering practices

Must have a good understanding with various pressure, temperature, position, level instrumentation, function & calibration

Should have basic millwright skills, in machine fits / gearing tolerance, main drive alignment

Should be able to make quick drawings for fabrication and or machining/ modification

PC literate

Able to make short concise detailed technical service reports

Clean UAE driver’s license is an added value.

Good command of English, both written and oral

Educational requirements

Engineering diploma at a minimum, with electrical, instrumentation, refrigeration or mechanical engineering.

And/or recognized diploma in Refrigeration technology, Hydraulics & Pneumatic technology

Personality requirements

- Passion for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction.

- Positive and self-motivated team player.

- Disciplined and punctual.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Able to work remotely with a little or no supervision.

- Willing to travel within the region to attend service jobs outside UAE

Role: Head of HR Operations

Reporting Line: Human Resources Director

Purpose of this role:

The Head of HR Operations role is a demanding position in a dynamic professional services environment and is responsible for ensuring a smooth running and success of the team in charge of supporting staff and partners across the employee lifecycle, including, employee relationship, policy development, interpretation, and situation management, coordinating and facilitating HR service delivery, including payroll and benefits for all the offices of Al Tamimi & Company.

The HR Operations department main objective is to provide excellent services and support and engage our more than 950 people across the region.

This role requires a proactive, service-oriented professional with excellent analytical skills and industry knowledge with demonstrated regional capabilities of supporting the business to help stakeholders make better decisions.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter, creative problem solver and team player who is collaborative and can work with minimum supervision. The person must have impeccable oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability in service delivery and use of technology, as well as experience in HR Systems and the employee life cycle and will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's business objectives and ensure the efficient and effective delivery of HR services across the region.

Responsible for the firm’s HR Operations department processes, including but not limited to regional employee onboarding and post onboarding, all offices medical insurance policy administration, probationary period, supporting managers and partners on employee relationship matters, employee benefits administration, off-boarding, absence management, visa renewals.

Ensuring HR Operations team coordination is keeping the work quality levels that align with organizational strategy, policies goals and objectives.

Oversight employment global transfers across all offices and coordinate the deliverable of the services under seamless processes.

Working closely with the HR team to coordinate and deliver yearly HR calendar, salary and bonus review and promotions.

Develop and produce reports to HR Senior management to help on decision making.

Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement performance management initiatives.

Over administrative and operational processes during the on boarding, probationary period, annual appraisal and exit processes.

Advise employees on HR policies and procedures.

Support the management of administrative tasks related to disciplinary and grievance issues.

Develop and monitor processes ensuring up to date data management according to policies in each office based on and legal requirements.

Identify and suggest changes to HR procedures and services to increase efficiency within the HR operations department, to ensure continuous enhancement on the service delivery in the department and employee services.

Collaborate with the HR department to implement innovative activities to achieve the department’s strategic objectives.

Draft communications to communicate yearly HR calendar activities to employees and Partners, i.e., policy changes, reminders, communicate employment status changes to employees and parties involved.

Ensure delivery of excellent customer service to our people during the life cycle.

Collaborate with any other HR related initiatives.

Leading upskilling HR ops team’s and office managers capabilities to embrace local offices in HR operational matters during the life cycle, such as, employee data and record keeping, local employment regulations compliance, terminations of employment and benefits administration.

Individual KPIs will be reviewed and agreed on an annual basis in line with function KPIs and performance objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

Minimum 5-10 years’ experience with at least 5 years’ experience in a professional services firm

Knowledge of GCC and MENA labour laws.

Proficient in MS Office and HR Software solutions
