Strategic Conversations: Engage in depth with executives and security experts, understanding their challenges and tailoring our narrative to align with their cybersecurity landscape.

Client Champion: As a secondary responsibility, supporting our Customer Success Team in offering unparalleled technical support, and play a crucial role in customer onboarding, ensuring a smooth and rewarding client journey.

OVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:

Perform various duties ensuring orderly and timely completion of works orders received from internal guests, Duty engineer, Assistant director of engineering, director of engineering and supervisor. Perform a various work order involved maintaining preventive maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• A.H.U.- Operation and maintenance.

• F.C.U.- Operation and maintenance.

• Refrigerator – operation and maintenance.

• Walking chiller and walking cooler – operation and maintenance.

• B.M.S.- Monitoring. And faulty locations.

• Exhaust & Ventilation system maintenance.

• Split and window units’ maintenance.

• Familiarize yourself with the design and layout of the hotel. Obtain understanding of operating procedures related to such.

• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, engines, pumps, belts, fans, and other processing units.

• Regular maintenance and perform scheduled inspections, clean components, lubricate moving parts, and replace worn-out parts to prevent breakdowns and optimize system performance.

• Performs tasks of rebuilding valves, mechanical wielding, brazing, and fabrications, replacing worn parts and accomplishing other major repairs to the HVAC equipment.

• Perform safe operation methods and procedures in troubleshooting of all equipment system including steam and chilled water heat transfer systems.

• Inspect equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.

• Isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment using testing instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter, testing lamps, etc.

• Replace faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems to include fabrication of electrical control panels.

• Dismantles electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts such as gears, brushes, armatures switches and other elements of electrical systems.

• Schedule all daily air conditioning needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: Minimum One years’ experience as Engineer at a 5-star hotel.

• Education: High school diploma; professional trade certification preferred.

• General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with one specific Trade as per Education qualification.

• Language: Required to speak, read, and write English, with fluency.

Job Purpose

To supervise and mentor Senior Technicians, Technicians and Mechanics to carry out Assembly, Disassembly, Cleaning, Inspection, Repairs, refurbishment, modifications, testing and rectification on all types of aircraft engines, engine systems, engine components to a high standard at the EEMC, to hold approval to certify own tasks as well as those directly under the job holders supervision, to certify and release to service work carried out in accordance with Airworthiness requirements and the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendation.

Job Outline:

- Supervises the activities and work of direct reports by providing mentoring and guidance to ensure that work with is carried out efficiently in line with the individual's targets, assist with providing feedback to direct reports when targets or goals are not being achieved and work with the individual to improve performance.

- Complete own and supervised tasks accurately by utilising knowledge of the engine overhaul process, company procedures as well as the use of the ESM, IPC, CMM, SB's and AD's ensuring paperwork and MRO ERP (IFS) system tasks are completed progressively and in accordance with company procedures.

- Apply knowledge of tooling and equipment and facility to carry out the tasks in a safe manner to the highest of quality standards. Supervise direct reports to ensure compliance to safety and quality procedures.

- Participate and promote a safe working environment in alignment with EEMC Safety policy. Ensure reporting any non-conformance in safety and quality immediately via company procedures.

- Act to mitigate any observed unsafe condition and prevent any incident, ensure all situations are reported via company procedures and highlighted to Line manager or Operations Manager.

- Ensure own attendance and direct reports are in alignment with sectional shift pattern, actively participate in all meetings, projects and use skills and knowledge to contribute to improvements to process, increased efficiency or better practice.

- Assist direct reports with development of competencies, mentor technicians and mechanics and identify areas of improvement to achieve the desired skill level.

- Provide assistance and guidance to Technicians with application for approvals focusing on regulatory and compliance guidelines.

- Staff annual business contribution evaluation (MyBC) to effectively set the staff's goals and competencies through conducting quarterly and annual performance reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications:

- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) Degree in Engineering in Aeronautical subjects, Mechanical, Maintenance, Avionics, Electronics Tech Engineering OR Valid Maintenance Engineering Licence OR apprenticeship (at least 2 to 3 years) and Holder of Engine shop authorisations comparable to an existing EEMC Engine Overhaul Engineer III.

- Workshops Only: Must hold the relevant workshop approval/authorisation.

- Work experience: 7+ years in aviation maintenance environment as an Aircraft/Engine Technician with a reputable airline or MRO company.

Knowledge/skills:

- Ability to delegate tasks and lead a team to ensure all work carried out and the progress is aligned to production plan Competent and experienced with reviewing/Understanding/Actioning Airworthiness Directives (AD's) Service Bulletins (SB) Engine Assembly & Disassembly.

- Experienced and competent in arrival/ Incoming inspections and health checks inclusive of Borescope inspections, removal and installation of components, external ducts and plumbing, engine mounts and major modules, ability to use measuring equipment and carry out any calculations to confirm serviceability, additionally competent in visual inspection.

- Complete duplicate inspections or critical task inspections as required.

- Ability to delegate tasks and lead a team to ensure all work carried out and the progress is aligned to production plan.
