Responsibilities·         Prepare the design of a wide range of infrastructure projects involving HV, MV, LV, ELV systems Dry utilities, Utility corridors and Substation design, including production of technical reports, written calculations, design briefs, specifications, drawings, schedules, contract documentation and the like.

·         Perform electrical engineering services such as:

o   participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures

o   ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes

o   provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.  For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders

Preparing the production of detailed deliverables such as: drawings, specifications, scopes of work, calculations, technical reports, datasheets, tender documentation, requisitions, estimates, budgets and schedules for scope variation and technical queries

Conducting appropriate studies/optioneering of solutions, analyses and recommendation of suitable actions

·         Undertaking and/or reviewing protection coordination, arc flash hazard assessments and defining mitigating solutions

·         Undertaking tender bid evaluations

·         Providing input and advice during procurement, construction and commissioning activities

·         Reviewing vendor documentation and checking interfaces within a brownfield infrastructure project.

·         Prepare documentation for and participate in project design reviews, HAZIDs/HAZOPs and safety in design workshops as required.

·         Where required, prepare or assist in the preparation of project documentation such as budgets, estimates, forecasts, schedules, and reports.

·         Responsible for ensuring technical quality, coordination, integrity and cost effectiveness of designs produced.

Job Specific Knowledge:

·         Experience in Industrial Infrastructure sector (Preference in the water sector)

·         Experienced with British, European and International standards and other construction practices.

·         Experienced in a consulting engineering environment over the whole lifecycle of a project including concept, FEED and Detailed Design (Must Requirement).

·         Experienced in the design of a range of

Dynamic system studies.

Experience with earthing analysis software, CDEGs (desirable)

Experience with system study software package DIgSILENT PowerFactory

Experience with system study software packages such as ETAP and Power*Tools for Windows.

Delivering electrical detailed design of switchgear, MCCs and LV switchboards.

Electrical calculations required for design.

Preparing design drawings including SLDs, schematics, terminations ad general arrangements.

Preparing ITPs, MTOs, datasheets, specifications, methodologies, procurement and construction scope of works.

Power systems modelling and analysis for HV and LV electrical systems, protection setting coordination and arc flash analysis

Protection, earthing, arc-flash and lightning systems studies

Desirable:

·         Site experience, equipment inspections, testing and commissioning

·         Competent in the evaluation of the condition of assessment of existing brownfield industrial projects

·         Good understanding of arc flash hazard assessment

·         Experienced in dealing with a variety of clients including developers, government bodies and EPC Contractors.

 

Job Specific Experience:

·         Experience in a range of industrial infrastructure projects.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

·         Dubai Municipality registration & DEWA registration highly desirable

·         Experience working in the Middle East.

·         Experience in industrial infrastructure projects. (Non-Urban buildings or MEP)

·         Experience in Water Industry Projects- Desalination / Waste water plants - Major Pumping Stations - Port and harbour projects.

Job Summary

Assist Project Manager for projects which include special periodic surveys (SPS), major modifications, upgrades, and repair of drilling rigs. The position includes the responsibility and control of projects assigned to him to be in accordance with Company Procedure. We welcome qualified female applicants to apply for this position.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Technical Support Center regarding project engineering and management activities.

• Supervise / coordinate basic and detailed engineering to fulfill the project in accordance with the design criteria (as defined for the project, Company policies and standards).

• Conduct and organize, if required, rig inspections to define project scope to meet project objectives.

• Oversees the development of Project Work Breakdown Structure, specifications, and work scopes.

• Assist Project Manager to prepare AFE and Project Plan

• Interface and coordinate projects with Capital Projects and relevant Valaris Teams.

• Prepare tender and issue RFQ to vendors to procure new equipment in accordance with Company standard.

• Provides timely and accurate cost and or schedule impact reports.

• Applies assigned contractual, regulatory and Valaris standards to the prosecution of the work.

• Supports Project Teams in the application of HSE Policies and Procedures within the terms of the shipyard contract and Valaris contracts.

• Ensure completion of projects and tasks as necessary.

• Accountable for tracking and scheduling Valaris Technical Representatives and/or Valaris designated 3rd Party to attend Factory Authorized Tests (FAT’s).

• Assists Manager in maintaining and overseeing Project construction related to:

• Project schedule, plan vs. actual with emphasis on commissioning and monitor equipment schedule.

• Monitor final clearance of class and regulatory approvals from shipyards.

• Support weight control and incline activities.

• Provides supervision and guidance to all assigned staff and/or vendors.

• Provides highly skilled technical and management advice and assistance to department management and personnel.

• Support Marketing efforts.

Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) in Engineering. Major in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or Naval Architecture.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with drilling contractor, marine contractor/engineer, or consulting engineer.

Skills & Experience

• The individual must be able to work independently and within team environment.

• Ability to gather and analyze/synthesize data, confirming its accuracy and adequacy as an integral part of the collective analysis/synthesis process.

• Demonstrated effective leadership and influencing skills and practices.

• Knowledge of financial accounting, purchasing and management systems.

• Physically capable of being transported to an offshore rig by boat or helicopter.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level (use financial and logical functions; work with multiple worksheets and workbooks; edit and use macros; import and export information).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.

• Working knowledge of document control systems and databases.

What you'll do

You will be responsible for developing strong relationship within your assigned leisure segment to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.

You’ll also seek for increasing production and revenue for the hotel in order to meet and exceed annual hotel budgets.

Our values of, Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together and Creativity guide us each and every day. As a Sales Manager Leisure you’ll have the opportunity to bring these to life and continue to create our legacy. 

You will actively seek new clients within your defined leisure segment, meeting and exceeding the monthly prospecting and appointment targets. You will investigate further development opportunities within existing client base to increase penetration and win market share.
