Quotient’s operations are based in Eysins, Switzerland, Edinburgh, Scotland, Dubai, UAE and Chicago, USA. 

As we launch our new MosaiQ platform we are heavily investing in Asia-Pacific and Middle East & Africa.  To support our growth, Quotient is recruiting for a Senior Regional Field Service Engineer to join our Global Emerging Markets team. The role is a full-time and permanent position and can be based in Dubai, UAE.  

 

JOB PURPOSE 

 

The Senior Regional Field Service Engineer is the point of reference for other Field Service Engineers. They are highly skilled on the MosaiQ™ system and ensure 1st level support and 2nd level support to distributors and customers. The incumbent will train other Field Service team members in the Region. The Senior Regional Field Service Engineer also conducts distributors and customers training, support, and installation on the MosaiQ™ system, including instrument, software, and applications with the goal of achieving and maintaining highest customer satisfaction. 

 

In addition, the position will coordinate with other internal departments to optimize MosaiQ™ performance or aid in product development by providing customer insights. Be able to run customer training seminars either at the Quotient training center or exceptionally at the customer site. Provide 3rd Level support. The incumbent is also expected to support product demonstrations and clinical evaluations if needed. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION 

 

The main responsibilities of the Senior Regional Field Service Engineer include: 

 

Installation and commissioning of instruments at distributor and customer sites or other sites as determined by the Regional Business Manager.  

Resolve 1st or 2nd Level customer questions and/or problems involving the Quotient MosaiQ™ solutions.  

Support investigation of complaints in relation to 2nd Level and 3rd Level support team.  

Communicates regularly with distributors and customers to learn about their business challenges and requirements.  

Assist other field service engineers in regular day to day activity and help troubleshooting the most difficult problems in high pressure situations.  

Transfer and follow-up of complaints root cause determination in collaboration with Post Market Surveillance (PMS), R&D and Production when needed (if investigation requires deeper analysis).  

Document rationale behind customer enquiries resolution or analysis and register in CRM.  

Review content and translations of User Manuals, Service Manual, IFUs, Software user interfaces and customer communication when necessary 

Conduct formal in-house and external field service, distributor, and customer training.  

Managing Call Escalations - ability to identify, own and track any issues with an account, according to complaint handling procedure, to reach resolution. Ability to work with internal or external partner.  

Perform hands on troubleshooting, service, and repairs for Installed Instruments.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

 

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar field and 5+ years of experience in a high-tech environment.  

Minimum of 5 years’ work experience as Field Service Engineer or Technical Support Engineer in the IVD sector. 

Knowledge of IT, networking TCP/IP, security.  

Knowledge and experience in implementing LIS (Laboratory Information System) connectivity using protocol ASTM or HL7.  

High degree of technical competence & confidence.  

Effective customer consultative skills which include exceptional customer engagement, a positive attitude, helpful customer interaction, and maintenance of ongoing customer relationships.  

Customer focused; sense of urgency and adaptive to change.  

Very strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.  

Dynamic, self-motivated, and driven; independent and proactive.  

Fluent in English, practice in and at least one other language among the regions.  

Valid driver’s license and passport and willingness to travel up to 80% of time, nationally and internationally.

Job description

Summary

The Procure-To-Pay Specialist is responsible for representing the Procurement function at an assigned location. The Procure-To-Pay Specialist monitors and improves compliance with procure-to-pay (P2P) strategies, policies, processes, and procedures within the GeoMarket.

Additional Responsibilities

Support the Procurement Service Center (PSC) for procurement and accounts payable (AP) activities.

Support the Product Line Supply Leads on new job planning and complex procurement and AP requirements.

Provide local hands-on support in case of critical requests, spot purchases, and emergency purchases of goods and services for the site.

Handle third-party-related compliance matters where local input is required.

Act as an interface between the PSC and locations for nonstandard procurement requests, including leading and communicating information, issues, and initiatives.

Support the PSC in expediting where direct local supplier contact is required or in case of issues.

Represent the AP function at the location.

Provide escalation support to ensure DFM flow-related actions are implemented in the GeoMarket on time.

Support, where required, the invoice document flow.

Report on P2P performance metrics.

Liaise with the PSC on the preparation of procurement service level reports and feedback on improvement suggestions.

Meet on a regular basis with internal customers to review procurement service levels and quality.

Ensure compliance with P2P channels and processes.

Liaise and coordinate with local Sourcing upon request of PSC for specific and ad-hoc orders that require support.

Troubleshoot P2P processing issues with end users.

Hitachi Energy is seeking a HUB HR Business Partner – Asia Pacific Middle East Africa (APMEA). As a core member of the Transformers Business Unit leadership team in Hub APMEA, the HR Business Partner APMEA is accountable for the overall HR contribution and value-add to the business, translating business goals into HR priorities and ensuring effective implementation in partnership with our centers of expertise (COEs) as well as HR operations. The HRBP will partner with business leaders to set and implement people strategy, develop and drive talent outcomes, support business goals and initiatives by ensuring relevant people capabilities and organizational effectiveness, counsel and coach business leaders and advise on solutions; represent business needs in interfacing with centers of expertise and HR operations. 

Your responsibilities:

Setting and implementing people strategy in the regional (Hub) organization in line with global business unit and global HR function strategy covering culture, competence, and organization. 

Ensuring people and organizational capabilities required in the mid-long term are understood and actioned. Ensure that the business positions in the short term are adequately staffed to meet or exceed the annual business targets. Interrogate HR Analytics data to understand key organizational dynamics, trends and issues and define and execute appropriate actions.  

Implementing strategy and planning regarding restructuring and integration projects as needed 

Implementing the operating model and optimize organization structures and principles in line with group and global rules and standards, including the Hitachi Energy Job Structure. 

Building a high-performance culture in the organization; Implement group and global business performance standards, KPIs, and targets to enhance business performance; Recognize and reward high performance in individuals and teams. 

Deciding on competence actions to support business strategy. Implement learning and development activities to build and improve competence in collaboration with the HR Talent team.

Bachelor's degree in human resources management, labor law, organizational behavior or business-related field and a minimum 10 years of Human Resource generalist experience, including experience in manufacturing environment and in leadership positions. 

Masters’ degree an added advantage 

Experience in a global, multinational matrix environment 

Experience in Industrial relations / labor relations is a plus. 

Strong track record in change management, organizational and talent development as well as capability building. 

Proven ability to effectively coach employees and manage through complex and difficult issues. 

Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment. 

Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills. 

Strong analytical skills, data driven decision making. 

Fluency in English and easy adaptation with different cultures
