The Position:

The position refers to the UK / IE & MEA Head of Regional Sales, and the employee is part of the team in MEA / UK.

The employee will support the HAY sales team in MEA in a positive way according to HAY’s values and strategy.

The purpose is to efficiently back up the MEA sales team. Furthermore the position requires skills to host A&D’s and dealers (wholesale, retail and contract). HAY’s shared showroom with MillerKnoll in Dubai is a warm and welcoming place where creative people meet.

Responsibilities include quick and efficient quoting for projects, warehouse inventory, contact to suppliers and delivery companies, prompt delivery of furniture to sites and for projects. Email dealers about news, campaign information and pricelist updates.

The position is an important link between the sales team in MEA, HQ in Denmark and MEA dealer network.

Important competences for the position:

Strong organizational skills

People person

Curiosity and interested in learning and developing

Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of HAY’s product portfolio, providing product training to dealers’ new sales people

Structured planning, prioritizing and time management

Develop and focus on team work in the UK / MEA team and sales operations in Denmark

Area of Responsibilities:

Supporting sales team in the MEA

Coordinating, communication and workflow between customers and internal departments

Responding to customer specific inquiries

Handling incoming calls, sending documentation and follow up, general mailouts and inquiries

Update pipeline / CRM

Organizing product loans for contract dealers

Email dealers about news, campaign information and pricelist updates

Answer email inquiries in HAY mailbox

BOQ building and selections with guidance from Export Sales Manager

Important Tasks:

Direct customer contact

Ad hoc meetings with clients in HAY / MillerKnoll showroom

Develop close relation to HAY dealers

Identify new business opportunities

Inspire, counselling, follow up and customer care

Close contact to sales operation in Denmark

Continuously willing to learn new skills

Prioritize time between sales backup and customer development

Build and develop strong customer relations

Update pipeline

Team work – very important

Freedom and responsibility to plan an effective work week

Reporting:

Ongoing reporting to HoS and Export Sales Manager

Participating in team meetings

Monthly 1:1 meetings with HoS (brief updates)

Weekly meetings with MEA Export Sales Manager

Quarterly catch-up meetings (Talent & Development Conversations) open, honest and proactive discussion

Job Description

Reporting to the ‘Manager – Sourcing’, the Procurement Senior Analyst/Specialist will primarily be responsible to manage the overall procurement reporting and data analytics. Further, responsibilities include to collate, consolidate, and generate report using various data work streams (not limited to, ERP, Power BI, Excel, etc). The person will obtain input and will work in close collaboration with various business users such as Global Procurement & Supplier Chain – including local operating company (OPCO) teams based in UK, Africa, and the Middle East.

This is a new role at IHS Towers, and we are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who can identify efficiencies within the current reporting environment and can work collaboratively with the Global, OPCO Procurement & Supply teams and manage the entire reporting requirements (Standard or Ad hoc reports).

The person should possess’ high analytical skills and should be able to understand stakeholders’ requirements and can work with different data work stream to generate logical reports and craft user friendly dashboards in accordance with industry best standards.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Collate responses from Group or Opco procurement to address reporting requirements & to fulfil ad hoc reporting requests.

Consolidate and collate data from ERP or various Data input/output work stream to generate or craft reports.

Develop procurement dashboards by seeking input from Group or OPCO Procurement or relevant business stakeholders and providing insightful data.

Follow up with Group or Opco procurement where appropriate to obtain clarity or more information on data receipt and ensure data correctness and challenge where necessary.

Present reports or dashboards to procurement stakeholders including business leadership team members.

From time to time this person maybe involved with certain sourcing activities (not limited to) running RFQ/RFP processes and consolidating responses and presenting back to sourcing managers and supplier on boarding and supplier due diligence activities  

Qualifications

Education:

Recognised Organizational reporting experience.

Preferred - (MCIPS or equivalent functional qualification)

Experience:

5+ years’ experience in performing procurement-based reporting activities and an excellent understanding of ERP especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP

Proficiency in MS Office with advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI, VBA, Macros and PowerPoint

Knowledge of best practices in the analytics field, and applying them to deliver exceptional service delivery

In depth knowledge of overall procurement, supplier management, sourcing and category management processes and principles

Strong written and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex technical information into clear and concise reports

Ability to work independently and prioritize workloads and deadlines. 

Ability to work successfully in a process-driven environment with courage to challenge the status quo.

Experience in working across multiple global entities and time zones.

Knowledgeable in commercial analysis and governance procedures

Good presentation, project management and leadership skills.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present concisely and descriptively in both oral and written format. English language required with fluent Arabic and French language will be a benefit

Job Profile: The CFO is fully responsible for overall finance & accounting function at the Corp & SBU level. Biz feasibility, Financial strategy, Innovation, Internal controls, Working capital management, Financial performance & reporting etc.

Key Abilities: Corp a/c & related domain knowledge especially in a manufacturing company, Budgeting, Financial Analysis, Competitive intelligence, MIS framework, resourceful, optimization skills, stakeholder management. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Planning & Forecasting

 Work with the senior leaders on the strategic vision of the organization including cultivating and fostering strategic relationships and potential alliances, engage in the growth agenda;

Collaborate with senior leaders on operational and strategic issues as they arise, provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections, and revenue/ expense analysis. 

Play a leading role in developing strategic plan for the Organization, its implementation and continuous monitoring. 

Collaborate across functions on developing the operating budget and rolling forecast; Budgetary control. 

Develop cost structure for each revenue stream; Align costs with performance - Monthly reporting on alignment initiatives.

2. Operations

Review existing processes, drive SOPs documentation & implementation project. 

Review existing ERP setup, processes implemented, quality of implementation, additional processes which can be automated and recommend general improvements. 

Identify current cost control mechanisms in the organization, Identify methods and processes by which a reduction in costs can be realized operationally.

Review cash flow forecast.

Assisting Business Unit Heads in meeting budgeted targets, detailed performance review of each line of business/product incl. devising revenue and pricing strategies for each stream of revenue and discuss & guide profit center heads in achieving targets.

Inventory Review & Control; monitor levels, aging and sales patterns. 

Adequate provisioning as per policy and regular monitoring and escalation on impairments of receivables, payable, inventory, advances, investments, assets etc. 

3. Financial Information / Reporting

Directs the preparation of all financial reports, ensure proper accounting and costing systems that facilitate recording and production of accurate and timely financial and costing information;

Assists Group CFO in implementation of IFRS in the business unit and manages the change process with all stake holders. 

Ensure system compliance with statutory requirements with respect to information, language and reports.

Monitoring of day-to-day financial operations of stores and other businesses, review delays, lapses and bottlenecks in operations;

Proactively initiate necessary remedial steps and changes in processes, systems etc. to avoid occurrence /reoccurrence.

Supervise the preparation of the monthly financial statement, Analyze the variance from the budget and prepare a corresponding justification report to the Management.

4. Risk Management 

Constantly identify key risks to the organization with regard to finance, legal/tax, accounting, insurance, cost control, contractual and other functions. Document identified risks and develops risk matrix of the Group and possible mitigating plans and actions.

Construct and monitor reliable control systems within the group to safeguard various assets, including data & information) of the group. Regular review of these and ensure corrective measures are implemented for cases where the control weaknesses are identified.

Review internal audit plan and reports and ensure all observations of the auditors are settled and agreed actions are implemented. Maintain relations with external and internal auditors investigate and implement their findings and recommendations

Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry. 

Qualification, Experience & Skills

Qualification: A qualified Chartered Accountant, CA or CIMA (ICWA India), MBA added advantage. 

Experience: At least 10-15 Years of experience. 

Skills: 

Skilled in examining, developing, re-engineering, and recommending financial policies and procedures.

Ability to work flexibly and under own initiative to achieve objectives.

Should have experience in collaborating with an executive team and have a high level of written and oral communication skills.

Excellent Leadership and Managerial competencies relevant to Business Strategy, Problem Solving & Decision-Making.
