Opened in October 2011, Ubisoft Abu Dhabi is one of the first major video game studios based in the UAE capital and is focusing on developing and bringing to market successful mobile games for a worldwide audience.

Job Description

Ubisoft Abu Dhabi is seeking for talented Server Programmer with experience and expertise in the online programming. The main responsibility of the programmer would be to make various modules for online games. The programmer should be capable enough for creating various technical solutions as per the design requirements, additionally should have understanding of various web protocols.

Key Responsibilities include:

Create various gaming components for online games that can support multi-million user bases

Write clean, robust, reusable code

Follow and enhance existing development process and set standards

Educate other team members on programming issue and concepts

Make optimal architecture to make web and mobile based games using Unity as client side tech

Adapt to reuse existing components and technology, rather than re-inventing them again.

Provide support to team members whenever required

Work with leads and production staff to organize the team to be effective and empowered.

Understands the importance of writing secure code

Key Skills:

Have strong understanding of various protocols like HTTP and Sockets

Comfortable in creating RESTful web services using MVC Web API

Have good working knowledge about databases and be comfortable in using MySql or equivalent database

Strong skills in server-side resource profiling, optimization and debugging

Experience building synchronous client / server systems.

Have a good understanding of NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB

Have excellent programming skills and solid experience programming C# & C++

Have basic understanding of .Net core

Comfortable with both Linux and Windows server environments

Be able to use JavaScript and similar client side technologies and have basic understanding of XML, JSON

Knowledge of AWS

Have a strong understanding of object oriented programming

Be flexible in organizing the work as per the requirements

Understand how to work in a result oriented environments and should respect commitments towards the work

Be a team player and has the ability to work in the constructive direction for the company, team and personal growth

Be capable enough to adapt to changes and get the best out of it

Should be fluent in English and should hold good communication skills to interact with various teams

A passion for creating and playing games

Experience with mobile games and social games are preferable

Not afraid to learn new technology and rapidly apply it in your daily work

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of programming experience in web and related technologies

Minimum 2 years of experience with synchronous client / server systems or high traffic scalable web services

Degree in technology or any other training or equivalent

Job Purpose

Job Purpose:

Supervise customs clearance operations and deployment of resources within the import and export operations for express and courier. Ensure that the department’s objectives are fulfilled, whilst meeting the requirements of customers in line with our delivered as promised’ strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

- Supervise the team and plan and organise the deployment of resources to ensure that the highest standard of customer service is provided to our varied express / courier customers including freight forwarders, cargo agents, integrators and shippers and ensure the efficient delivery of all express volumes in line with the delivered as promised framework.

- Motivate and develop the members on the shift through coaching and on job training to achieve optimum productivity and high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Educate the team in areas related to customs formalities, IATA regulations, domestic trade regulations, budgetary priorities, and adherence to and improvement of internal customer delivery systems to ensure the team are knowledgeable in all areas.

- Supervise all UAE customs system entries and processes.

- Investigate customer complaints ensuring these are professionally managed and that adequate service recovery measures are taken to restore and maintain customer goodwill.

- Participate in defining the business objectives that will contribute to the attainment of agreed revenue and expenditure objectives for the sale of express and courier services in the UAE.

- Co-ordinate and communicate with external and internal customers and suppliers, together with UAE customs regulatory authorities to deliver professional services and products which conform to policies, procedures and regulations to achieve service excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications:

12 Years schooling or equivalent

5+ years of Express / Courier Customs Clearance

Skills:

- Experience in express courier shipment handling with at least 3 years in a supervisory position with experience of leading a team.

- K nowledge of UAE customs regulations and processes, IATA regulations, customs systems, policies and procedures, import and export rules and regulations.

- Effective communication skills (written and oral)

- Excellent IT skills

- A demonstrated ability to motivate people.

Job Purpose

dnata is one of the world's largest air services providers offering ground handling, cargo, travel, and flight catering services across five continents. We operate in 38 countries and 136 airports globally.

Airside Agent will be responsible in carrying out activities related to the assigned airside areas on shift, ensuring safe on time quality service delivery to customer airlines, in line with dnata’s standards & procedures.

In this role, you will:

• Applies departmental policies, processes, procedures in day-to-day operations adapting to any changes in the established standards and procedures.

• Implements day-to-day operations assigned and ensures compliance with the established standards and procedures

• Ensures that all equipment and devices are used and cared for appropriately and escalate/forward for maintenance/repair as required.

• Escalates issues to the Supervisor to ensure that the proper corrective measures are followed up on.

• Assists in manual handling activities when required.

• Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

• Ensures that safety briefings are conducted regularly while intervening when there is risk exposure, role model safe behaviours and follows up on corrective actions.

• Maintains appropriate records and documentation for the shift in the assigned area.

• Receives cargo from the Emirates Sky Central Terminal warehouse locations and inbound flights (e.g. Ramp Transfer Cargo) at the sorting/staging area and ensure to validate/scan cargo via PDA at the time of drop off. Line up/stage the units in trains (if multiple units) based on flight numbers & STD.

• Prioritizes the dispatches of cargo/mail units based on the departure time to Aircraft Bay aligned to OAL SLA. Ensures to validate/scan cargo via PDA at each pick up & drop off points.

Qualifications & Experience

To Qualify for the role, you must meet the below.

• Minimum 12 years of schooling

• 2-4 years of experience in ground handling / Airport environment.

• UAE Driving Licence in order to gain ADP to operate equipment

• Proficient knowledge in systems DACS+ , CAMSYS

• Proficient Communication Skills

• Proficient understanding of Customer SLA

• Proficient understanding of dnata's airport operations KPIs

• Proficient Writing Skills
