Key Accounts Trade Marketing Manager (Prestige Brands), Coty, Dubai, UAE

This role will report into the Country Manager UAE and General Manager Joint Venture. 

 

Overall Responsibilties:

Work alongside KAMs to build short-term and long-term strategy for all Coty Brands by retailer by market (bricks & clicks)

Insure a perfect communication between the KA department  and Marketing + Business Units

Build the trade marketing strategy for the Key Accounts, ensuring ambitious growth on Sell-out, SOM and ranking evolution for Coty luxury Portfolio

Work closely with KAMs to plan CY & FY targets ensuring all objectives are met

Build coherent and tailored Trade Marketing Plan to ensure growth in Sell out, SOM & Ranking 

Prepare for the Key Retailers Strategy meetings to support KAMs on negotiations & achieving business objectives

 

Planning & Execution:

Work Alongside KAMs on AOP for all Key accounts by brand by market

Work with the brand team to ensure all plans are inline with the brand strategy and expectations

Plan for all future novelties and animation strategy alongside brand team for all retailer strategy meetings

Ensure that all animations tools (360) are available prior to all animation executions including Sales expectations by market brand

Ensure BUs are aligned on the TMP strategy and support required on local level with animations, podiums, sampling, etc for bricks & clicks

Provide BUs with SO & SOM targets to ensure performance are on track.

Work closely with brand team to create Coty-led retailer thematics during KCPS

Work closely with BUs on Coty-led retailer thematics during KCPS in terms or sell out & SOM objective(s)

Give direction to BUs on forecasting of sellables & non-sellables with 360 instore launch strategy for all novelties

Ensure samples are being forecasted in order to participate with retailer thematics & KCPs

Align closely with all functions such as marketing, sales, finance, supply etc to ensure smooth deliverables

Ensure All SM & CRM assets are shared with the retailers prior to all activations ensuring best in class online visibility

Follow up with Merch team on renderings and TDs for all animations in order to secure approvals with retailers

 

Results and Performance:

Conduct in-depth analysis of performance of all brands by market by retailer on an sku level

Analyze beauty market performance and trends, and expected category trend

Track new launches performance and assess their contribution to the brand

Analyze SWOT of each brand by retailer by market to ensure regional targets and ambitions are in-line with the direction of the brand strategy and retailer agreements (JBP, KBDs)

Address analysis with all BUs to assess what works and what needs to be done to improve results – build action plan(s) based on quantitative results and qualitative feedback

Highlight opportunities and risks that are foreseeable to manage expectations internally & externally

 

Financials:

Calculate ROI on all investments to ensure a balanced P&L

Work on P&L along with KAMs to assess financial well-being of every key account.

Work on Monthly reports assessing BU investment on Trade Spend & A&CP by account to assess level of investment vs ROI generated

 

What we are looking for:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with beauty sector experience 

Comfortable using Excel, with a strong grasp of numbers

Previous experience managing a P&L 

Eager to learn and curious to propose creative solutions.

Thrives well with ambiguity and adapts to business needs – adapting in a fast-paced environment (anticipate and adjust to be quick thinker)

Outgoing and dares to go out of his/her comfort zone.

Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Planning & Reporting Engineer on a contract basis. The position holder will be based in Dubai/UAE within Engineering Contractor premises with frequent mission to Basra, Iraq.

Planning Engineer Requirements are:

Degree in Engineering or similar.

Experience with 3D modeling software.

Proficiency in MS Office in particular MS Excel, MS Project, and Primavera.

Planning and project management skills.

Strong multitasking abilities.

Strong analytical, critical, and logical thinking skills.

A sound understanding of safety protocols.

Ability to focus under pressure and meet deadlines.

Fluent in English, Excellent English Writing and Negotiation

15-20 years of experience in the oil industry, with significant experience in similar position working directly for an owner/operator.

As Senior Planning and Reporting Engineer you are in charge of Project overall planning activities, progress measurement with the objectives fixed to the project in terms of schedule and cost. You will analyze different schedules, progress and reporting coming from different Contractors and Vendors and propose correction and risks mitigations.

You will be also in charge, for the JV entity, by defining Key Project Indicators (KPIs) allowing to measure the efficiency of the entity and to consider improvements. You will manage the audits planning related to the project and the entity.

You will be in charge to issue related (procedures, support documents, etc.) to your domain for PCM and Project Manager approval.

You shall ensure that company policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures are enforced and shall take any action necessary to maintain the quality

of Planning & Reporting activities to the highest level.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES:

Develop and update the Project Integrated schedule including milestones, deadlines, and key dates.

Via PRODOM, review and analysis of Contractors' schedules and all related documents (including planning and progress measurement

procedures).

Calculation and monitoring of the progress for each Contractor/Sub-Contractor involved in the project.

In collaboration with the PCM and Project Manager, anticipate and identify potential Change Orders.

Identification of potential delays, analyze and propose corrective actions to ensure compliance with the baseline schedule.

Compile and finalize different reports for the project and JV entity.

Participate to the affiliate and Operation planning meetings. Ensure proper integration of the Project within the Affiliate overall planning, in particular at the level of the interfaces.

Analyzing technical drawings and providing material and cost estimates

Review and validate the progress for each Contractor, Sub-Contractors, and Vendors (FEED, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Start-Up)

Review and validate the invoices for Contractors and Vendors

OBSERVATIONS ON ACTIVITIES AND MISSIONS:

For its area of expertise, ensure that the SOR is respected throughout all project Phases.

Ensure that engineering documents are issued on time without delaying different CFT's.

Ensure that proposed technical solutions are adapted and feasible in terms of planning (productivity and POB).

Work with Contractors to mobilize sufficient resources and means to carry out the Project.

Carry out the tasks normally assigned to the Contractor when it becomes necessary for the good of the Project.

Ensure good communication with the other Projects and Affiliate entities. Work in close collaboration with the Operations Division in order to minimize stoppages of production facilities and minimize "Lack of Production".

Position Summary

The Project Architect oversees the development of the design of a project along with the production of construction documentation within the established scope of work, program, and budget objectives. The Project Architect has a project-focused view; and together with the Senior Designer, Technical Designer, and/or Project Manager (where applicable), is the co-leader of the project. Depending on the scale or complexity of the project, the Project Architect may take on some Project Management responsibilities, including acting as the primary point of contact for the owner/client, and the full project team, inclusive of consultants.

Position Responsibilities

● Oversees the Architectural Project Team in all phases to achieve design, technical, and financial success. Exhibits initiative, process innovation, problem solving, and decision quality with a high attention to precision and accuracy at a project level.

● Provides significant input on the design direction and innovation(s) and furthers the development of architectural projects that are consistent with the scope of work and goals of the firm. Integrates criteria and input from all disciplines into design solutions.

● Establishes, communicates, and maintains standards of quality for documentation products for the full internal and external team. Supports the Technical Architect in the implementation of the Quality Management System for assigned projects.

● Demonstrates an advanced understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details and construction techniques. Is able to enrich design concepts through technical strategies and effectively uses appropriate tools to design and document at all project phases.

● Oversees consultants and knowledge resources to ensure that deliverables are coordinated, integrated, and support the performance goals of the project.

● Oversees and collaborates with the SOM High Performance Design Group in tracking energy, water, and carbon use intensities on a project and provides documentation for AIA 2030 reporting.

● Oversees and/or leads the production resources and schedules of documentation and presentations. When appropriate, produces presentation and contract deliverables such as diagrams, 3D models, drawings, specifications, renderings, physical models, and animations. Documentation should be consistent with firm standards for the publication and presentation of work.

● Fosters lasting and positive relationships with clients, the design community, and important government agencies (i.e. planning departments, commissions, and advocacy groups).

● Assists the Project Manager in establishing project budgets, schedules, and work plans.

● Oversees time and workload of team to meet project task deadlines and commitments, with limited interaction and direction from Partners and Principals while guiding and teaching less experienced staff. Oversees and guides the project team in identifying the appropriate follow-up process to address action items during all project phases.

● Oversees the implementation of the computer management program for the project and, when required, identifies the Digital Design Coordinator for the project. Promotes digital innovation.

● Oversees and/or leads the team’s construction phase services scope.

● Attends and presents in owner/architect design meetings and owner/architect/contractor meetings. Reviews and approves meeting minutes.

● Attends and facilitates weekly internal project team meetings. Together with Project Manager, Designer, and/or Technical Designer, develops the meeting agenda and project status update.

● Works with Lead Designer to archive all final and preferred drawings, renderings, and photos for future use.

● Actively participates in local and firm-wide Design and Technical Meetings and makes meaningful contributions to the advancement of activities led by these groups.

Leadership Responsibilities

● Actively leads multiple projects and teams.

● Established as a officewide resource in an area of expertise for market, discipline, or department.

● Directly supervises, trains, and mentors team members.

● Engages in talent strategy to find specialists, leaders, and future professionals for the firm through resume review, interviews, and leveraging personal network.

● Demonstrates leadership in the implementation of sustainable strategies in all project assignments and the associated development of staff knowledge.

● Creates and drives new ways of working through contributing to the development of services, standards, procedures based in an understanding of the business principles that protect SOM from financial and legal risk.

Minimum Qualifications

● Completion of a professional degree in Architecture or a related field.

● Licensed in state of practice; LEED or other green building accreditation preferred.

● Minimum 10 years of experience or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.

● Strong understanding of sustainable strategies and principles including familiarity with LEED or other green building rating systems.

● Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.

● Demonstrates proficiency in Rhino, parametric and rendering software, Adobe Suite, and Google Workspace. Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD.
