Overview of the role

Responsible for online content for the brand across the Food & Fashion Platforms. A self-starting team player who is confident and able to work without close supervision. The role holder is responsible to plan, execute and manage on site content working across functions to ensure onsite excellence. Develop a strong relationship with the UK, manage the integration of technical systems and drive standards.  

 

What you will do

 

Key Accountabilities

Create compelling content across M&S platforms 

Ensure the principle data source and feed for product content and descriptions are accurate and can be leveraged for local content

Write content that speaks to various personas and market segments; creating a user-friendly experience for the reader

Write marketing text for individual products within agreed Service Level Agreements service levels for all brands for the MENA market. Ensure that copy meets quality, principle and SEO guidelines 

Update or create landing pages on the site adding the proper links, images, or videos.

When required, produce more general (site-wide) customer information such as FAQs, Product Descriptions, About Us, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Help Pages, Projects Articles, News Letters, etc…).

Coordinate and manage content schedule/plan and assets. Execute the content schedule/plan utilizing the content management system (CMS) to upload both copy and content assets.

Receive information from category and merchandising teams on stock and priorities.  Keep informed on products and stock levels of new products ensuring that products are available to go live as soon as stock is available.

Work closely with the SEO Specialist to produce quality content that will not only appear in search engines, but drive traffic to the site, and convert into sales

Build a strong relationship with the UK, managing the integration of technical systems to ensure full content and copy is online

 

Project Management 

Plan, execute and manage on site content, ensure projects and newness are delivered on time, within budget, in adherence with the brand quality standards and meet customer expectations

 

Required Skills to be successful

Minimum of 1 years of experience as content writer preferably within an eCommerce organization.

Excellent English skills (speaking, writing and reading).

Arabic language would be an advantage

Strong copywriting skills gained in a web environment, high standard of written English.

Sensitivity to Home improvement/Home living/household products

Strong copywriting skills in a web environment, with a high standard of Arabic and understanding of SEO guidelines.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

Oversee inventory control procedures including maintaining files, generating and updating reports, assisting in product cycle counts, checking shipped dates and locked orders

Review return authorization and credit memo forms pending return of material; inspecting condition of return material through final disposition

Research tax and freight claims and work with financial services to clear claims

Basic accounting duties such as light accounts receivables and payables, invoice approval preparation, running credit memos

Run various reports such as tax, manual sales order, fleet, security

Responsible for building maintenance and security, equipment maintenance, maintain supplies, compliance to health and safety program (HASP) and monthly OSHA Logs

Respond to internal customers with corrective action

Qualifications:

High School degree or equivalent

1 year of operational or administrative experience preferred

1 year of logistics and warehouse experience preferred

1 year of customer service and inside sales experience preferred

Good verbal and written communication skills

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

Ability to work in a team environment

Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and terminology

Job Description

Job Summary. 

Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated project(s) to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide customers/subcontractors and customer suppliers with a single point-of-contact and assume the role of communications coordinator for assigned major projects, which includes coordinating within the various departments.

Assure preparation of customer documents and project drawings are completed as required by the contract.

Represent Company at customer/subcontractor coordination status meetings.

Monitor all activities to assure costs and gross margins are met.

Track and control the major components of the project cost.

Take responsibility for the overall project schedule.

Follow administrative procedures as necessary to assure the success of the project.

Negotiate settlement of all claims associated with the project.

Monitor all project activities, report progress against plans and take corrective action as required to meet plans.

Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Responsible for all operational activities of assigned projects.

Travel to on-site locations to meet with internal and external customers.

Maintain a high degree of situation awareness to track and manage issues.

Strive to achieve on time delivery.

Follow NOV PM procedures and processes.

Create customize reports when required.

Create, store, and find documents in RigOffice.

 

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project management and customer focal point for all NOV-associated project work scopes:  Recertifications, upgrades, reactivations, I&C, OEM repairs, rig/shipyard-based inspections, and other internal projects.

Follow standardized processes, policies, and operational procedures from a global operations perspective.

Responsible for all project planning activities including scope identification, creation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and documentation gathering.

Create and document required work scopes of the project such as quotations, proposals, purchase orders and change orders as required through the duration of the project.

Issue and track purchase orders for parts and services for internal and 3rd party requirements.

Responsible for project execution including scope execution and issuance of project certifications.

Collaborate with both regional and local Aftermarket representatives (Service, Spares, Repair, Engineering, Sales, Accounting/Finance, etc.) to maximize support, planning, project execution and customer experience.

Build and strengthen relationships with customer, suppliers, and vendors.

Responsible for monitoring and controlling projects which includes risk management, change management and progress management, reporting and project closeout.

Maximize financial results by monitoring/reporting all activities to ensure accurate costing

Maintain awareness of critical path activities affecting customer-sensitive project deadlines; build contingency plans and implement recovery plans.

Responsible for project close out including invoicing, handovers, and after-action reviews.

Perform other work as assigned.

Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

Qualifications/Years of Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business

Management is preferred, or equivalent

Combination of education and project

Management experience.

Project Management / Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

At least 3+ years within a project management role.

Experience handling customers and internal stakeholders professionally throughout the

project lifecycle.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preffered 5+ years within a project management role.

Skills, Training, Special knowledge, and/or Language skills: 

Knowledge of oil and gas industry drilling, pressure control and/or lifting and handling equipment.

Strong understanding of PMI principals and methodology.

Fluent in MS Office products, specifically Project,Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Fluent in Aftermarket systems,such as, RigOffice, Compass,

Tracker, PIMS, and other system

Understanding of technical documentation packages/drawings. 

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Fluent in English

Communicates effectively.

Interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail.

Planning / Organization.

Team oriented.

Self-motivated.

Adaptable to change.

Frequent travel required - at least 50% 

Option to relocate to/work in Qatar and/or Saudi Arabia
