As Workshop Wellhead Technician, you will play a vital role with our business by ensuring maintenance activities are carried out accordingly and safely to ensure compliance requirements.

As a Workshop Wellhead Technician, you will be responsible for:

Own the resolution of post-sales technical customer issues. Level 1,2,3 Technical Support – Resolves post sales Technical Issues. As the technical depth required to resolve an issue increases, the “level” of skill set increases. For some products 1 individual may handle levels 1,2 and 3 while for other products these may be separate individuals with increasing skill sets.

Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information.

Handles simple project processes. There are detailed guidelines for production and/or simple human interfaces requiring little technical knowledge. A framework of conditions is set.

Handles targeted clients. Contracts are predefined and a framework of conditions is set and followed.

Performing Receiving, cleaning, polishing, inspection, disassembly, Segregation, Repair, Assembly, pressure testing, FIT test, SIT test and housekeeping,

Reading and interpreting Drawing, assembly prints and parts lists to ensure accuracy and quality

Using measurement and gauging equipment to check and verify components

Performing wellhead assembly, maintenance, and overhaul on equipment to ensure safety and reliability

Ensuring maintenance activities are carried out accordingly and safely to ensure compliance requirements

Following up on work orders instructions for repair, assembly, disassembly and pressure testing

Preparing reports for the repaired and Pressure tested equipment

Coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence

Being able to identify and communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Services).

Have minimum of 3 years of experience working on Wellhead products, specifically in assembly, maintenance, repair, and pressure testing.

Have knowledge with API 6A standard.

Able to interpret and explain to technicians about Engineering drawing and VGS procedures,

Demonstrate a good aptitude and a keen desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills

Have excellent communication skills and be able to understand technical information and technical drawing in English

Demonstrate a working understanding of Database information Systems

Have the desire to become certified in forklift and overhead crane

Be able to be flexible with working patterns and shift rotations

Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills.

Job Description & Summary

Working with creative teams to bring multimedia content strategies to life through development of creatives and visuals;

Understanding what makes multimedia content effective in marketing and sales channels such as search engine optimisation, review campaign performance metrics, innovate on creative content and data visualisation;

Working with the marketing and external communications teams to publish high-quality content that meets the firm's independence, risk management, legal, and ethics standards;

Contributing to digital format innovation efforts and developing overarching content strategies that maximize the value of content by, e.g., adapting it to different channels;

Making effective use of data visualisation and making smart digital use of archival pieces;

 

Research

Conducting or requesting additional research to fill gaps in authors’ thinking, and identifying linkages between research findings to help develop a distinctive point of view when necessary

Interviewing leaders and cultivating a network of other external thought leaders whose ideas can help extend PwC’s narrative on critical topics, and developing content with them;

Stakeholder and project management

Managing agency and external third party supplier relationships effectively (e.g. content writer suppliers);

Collaborating effectively with internal and external content writers and editors to develop content in line with the broader global content agenda;

Building and managing relationships with senior leaders across the PwC network, acting as a partner in content development, and confidently conducting difficult conversations to jointly reach productive outcomes;

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and managing workload in order to serve a diverse stakeholder group across a complex and matrix organisation;

Job Requirements and Preferences :

Minimum Degree Required : Bachelors Degree  

Degree Preferred : Bachelor Degree in English, Journalism or Media and Communications.

If your degree is not in English, Journalism or Media and Communications, a formal writing qualification either via a recognised industry body such as the National Council for the Training of Journalists (UK/online) - or to be able to demonstrate that you have acquired relevant University-accredited writing courses - would be beneficial.

Arabic speaking advantageous

About the job Senior Purchase Officer

Prepare and maintain purchase order, purchasing records, reports, and price lists for both General and Duty-free items.

Assist in the development of specifications for equipment, materials & services to be purchased.

Administer contract performance, including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages & insurance.

Reconcile or resolve value discrepancies.

Comply with & maintain, knowledge of applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices.

Address staffing resource needs and supervise purchasing clerks.

Develop, maintain constructive & cooperative working relationships with colleagues & management.

Maintain a bidder s' list, vendors file, perform vendor evaluation and such other records as are needed for the efficient operation of the purchasing function and to imply with the current Procurement Manual.

Supervise the inspection of all supplies, services and equipment purchased to insure conformance with specifications.

Keep informed of current development s in the field of purchasing, prices, market conditions and new products.

This role calls to have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you're identifying the most profitable offers.

Coordinate with suppliers for deliveries, check and receive inventory from supplier when required.

On time delivery tracking to be developed

To have a vigilant approach and develop strategy towards buying

Lead ongoing projects / new tenders.

Lead Negotiation meetings.

Process purchase requisitions/ orders within purchasing authority Invite, assess and award/recommend supplier t enders, bid s, quotations, and proposals.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a strong leader as well as have very good presentation skills.

Maintains confidentiality of purchasing and financial information.

Ensures compliance with standard practices, regulations, and statutes.

He should be expert in computer usage and procurement related software.

Knowledge of filing system and record keeping

Knowledge of Local Market

Proficiency in English is a Must, Additional Hindi & Arabic

Valid UAE Driving License will be an added advantage

Towards Stores Function:

Knowledge of Inventory Management

Knowledge of Excel and software's

He must know store Management

Knowledge of procurement operations

Educational Profile and Experience:

Minimum Graduate with 5+ years of Experience in handling purchasing and stores.

Physical Demands:

He Must be Physically Fit and good in health.

Work Environment: ERP / SAP
