Important Information

Air Arabia Group is looking for Quality Assurance post holders for Air Arabia Abu Dhabi.

Job Purpose

Nominated by Air Arabia and accepted by the civil aviation as “Post Holder”, the “Manager - Quality Assurance & Safety” shall monitor and verify all activities in the areas of Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Flight Training, and Engineering Maintenance ensuring all are being carried under the supervision of the relevant “Nominated Post Holder” in compliance with Airlines, Civil Aviation Authorities, and other Regulatory Bodies’ standard requirements and regulations.

Key Result Responsibilities

Leads the “Quality Assurance” team and operational activities ensuring all are as per standards, rules and regulations required by the Civil Aviation, manufacturer’s manuals, and Air Arabia’s adopted policies and procedures with focus on safety, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and human factors considerations.

Verifies and ensures that Company’s established operations, policies, procedures and internal rules and regulations are met under the supervision of the relevant “Nominated Post Holder” and are in compliance and accordance with:

a. Conditions and Restrictions of the AOC.

b. Applicable Regulatory Requirements

c. All relevant Authority Regulations and additional standards set by the airlines.

Acts as the ultimate accountable to the COO to ensure that “Quality Assurance Program” is adequately and timely established and implemented in compliance and accordance with applicable regulations and approved manuals.

Plans, implements and monitors the annual audit plan and inspections; identifies non-conformities, problems or deficiencies and proposes corrective measures and alternative solutions. Monitors and assures that corrective actions are timely taken and placed effective by the responsible line manager.

Advises the “Accountable Manager” on Quality related matters and supports with needed information and independent assessment of audits and inspections results as well on correction loops as a regular standard basis for the formal Mmanagement’s evaluation of the Quality System effectivenes.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (CAR66- AMEL),and/or a Bachelor degree in Aircraft Engineering/Aeronautical/Auditing or equivalent;

Alternately, a diploma or certificate in the related field and/or ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License – more than 3000 FH)

Must have completed formal aeronautical maintenance training if it was not his/her major.

Must be eligible for approval by the Civil Aviation as Manager Quality Assurance “Post Holder”.

Certificates related to Auditing, Quality Assurance and/or Compliance such as IOSA or ISO – Lead Assessor are highly desirable and some may be treated as conditional for this role.

Project Management certificate or alternately the proven corresponding working experience is nice to have.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint), Internet and Web Search.

Excellent command over both written and verbal communication skills: reporting, presentations, etc

Work Experience

8+ years of working experience in different disciplines in the aviation/airline industry, with a minimum of 4 years at least leading the “Quality Assurance” or “Compliance” function; low cost airline experience is a plus.

Extensive knowledge in Civil Aviation and regulatory bodies’ rules and regulations and requirements pertaining to Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Flight Training, and Engineering Maintenance: policies, procedures, manuals, certification, and licensing.

General knowledge in ICAO ISARPS.

In-depth knowledge and experience in airline documentation and records control systems.

Aircrafts technical knowledge and relative exposure to aircrafts maintenance is a plus.

Comprehensive knowledge and working exposure to Safety and Security functional requirements and measures in airlines; knowledgeable in internal/external audit practices.

Experienced in managing the continuing airworthiness of aircrafts in line with Authorities, Manufacturers, and OEMs standard requirements.

Experienced in designing and implementing policies, procedures and manuals as per business needs and in line with adopted regulations and approved quality standards.

Influential at all levels including internal and external parties; experienced in managing relationships at work place and managing a diverse team of people (Skills/Experience).

Proven skills in analysing data, identifying pitfalls and recommending corrective measures.

Cost-oriented, possesses effective problem solving and decision making skills.

High accuracy and attention to both results and details

Job Purpose

To carry out routine maintenance tasks and defect rectification of aircraft components as per company and associated regulatory procedures.

Job Outline:

- GENERIC

- Carry out aircraft components maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures. Ensure that assigned aircraft components are maintained as per latest revisions of approved authority Technical Publications such as CMM, Aircraft documentation, Technical Notices, Quality Notices, and Engineering Procedures Manual etc. Ensure that personal approvals/licences are valid and applicable to aircraft components type/scope.

- Determine if tooling/equipment used is serviceable and appropriate for the task and use specialised tooling where required. Ensure that trouble shooting procedures/tools used for fault rectification are carried out in a cost effective and efficient manner.

- Ensure that all activities performed are carried out in accordance with all safety rules and regulations and in adherence to company procedures, highlighting a deficiencies/requirements through the effective use of reporting tools. Ensure all work locations are kept clean and excellent housekeeping conditions are maintained.

- Maintain effective communication with Colleagues including Managers and Senior Engineers to ensure a seamless flow of information and to highlight any potential operational issues.

- Manage the performance of staff using performance review process and system. Ensure SMART goal setting, interim/annual reviews and development plans are in place for assigned staff members in accordance with company procedures.

- Attend training/recurrent modules as required to enhance skills and comply with CAR 145 requirements.

- Ensure resources and manpower available is support of the business needs allowing targets/milestones to be adequately achieved. Ensure that available resources are utilized fully to meet the business needs. Ensure for all staff allocated to him/her and themselves to efficiently clock on/clock off job cards in the process of performing their usual duties. Must be available to assume duties and responsibilities of shift manager/senior engineer shift whenever delegated by the section manager.

- Specific Functions for Airframe Components:

- Proactively identify New Capabilities build-up opportunities of aircraft components and conduct feasibility study, justify the requirement of establishing New Capabilities via Research and Development (R&D), Cost Benefit Analysis (Business Cases) to enhance the work shop's capabilities. Be conversant with 145 AMO regulatory framework. Liaise with company internal Compliance Monitoring teams for obtaining necessary Regulatory approvals for shop activities.

- Lead the project to build up the agreed new aircraft components capabilities until it is approved by regulatory. Liaise with Fleet Technical Management (Engineering Technical Services - ETS), Part 21 DOA, UAE GCAA MOA (Manufacturing Organization), Component Repair or Reliability Departments for gathering facts and solid justification data for the capability establishment. Define new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or Process Instruction Manuals / Stage Sheets / Work Order Job Cards that allows shop engineers to practice new capability deliverables. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the technical proficiency of the Work Shop's staff. Introduce external training / refresher training to allow Authorization approval scopes of certifying engineers remain valid. Liaise with Technical Publications, ETS and ensure all Work Shop publications (CMM, CMM-TR, SILs, CMM-ICA documents) are available for Work Shop Personnel access.

- Coordinate with internal related stake holders to implement the built/approved new capabilities in the workshop until the output of production is fully compliance with regulations. Participate in company internal compliance monitoring 145 Audits, external EASA 145 or GCAA CAR 145 Audits and demonstrate work shop regulatory compliance at all times.

- To be involved in any potential optimization and/or continually improvement if it's applicable for the newly built-up capabilities

- Specific Functions for Avionics Components:

- Effectively participate in New Capabilities build-up opportunities of aircraft components and work with stakeholders to assist in the conduct of feasibility study to justify the requirement of establishing New Capabilities via Research and Development (R&D), Cost Benefit Analysis (Business Cases) to enhance the workshop's capabilities. Be conversant with 145 AMO regulatory framework.

- Lead the project to build up the agreed new aircraft components capabilities until it is approved by regulatory. Define new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or Process Instruction Manuals / Stage Sheets / Work Order Job Cards that allow shop engineers to practice new capability deliverables. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the technical proficiency of the Workshop's staff.

- Coordinate with internal related stake holders to implement the built/approved new capabilities in the workshop until the output of production is fully compliance with regulations. Participate in company internal compliance monitoring 145 Audits, external EASA 145 or GCAA CAR 145 Audits and demonstrate workshop regulatory compliance at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

- Experience in Engineering Workshops 12+ Years

Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)

Degree in Aeronautical subjects/Mechanical/Avionics/Electronic/Tech Engineering OR Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence OR Engineering Apprenticeship.

Experience in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering related fields.

- 7+ Years as a certifying staff in the relevant area Specific Qualifications/ Experience: Avionics/Structures/Cabin Shops: 7+years of EASA Form1/GCAA AW1 certification experience.

- Generic Knowledge/skills: - Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters that relate to the operation and maintenance of aircraft to international standards.

- Airframe Components:

- Capable of Auto CAD, Solid Works, CATIA V5 or similar CAD/CAM packages. Ability to produce own

CAD drawings when need arises.

- 5+ years experience in MRO 145 work shop engineering streams as a subject matter expert of

Airframe Mechanical Systems (Hydraulic Components/Pneumatic Components/Landing Gears).

Experience in FTM is preferred.

- 3+ years experience with relative training on EASA Part 21.J DOA or Part 21.G POA

- Project management experiences with 6 Sigma/Lean/Aircraft Component capability build up

familiarization with PMP, Prince 2, Agile or Lean process engineering systems.

- Knowledge of latest technical developments and industry trends on respective technology Example:

3D printing, Additive Manufacturing etc.

- Ability to analyse and synthesise technical information for implementation in cost effective ways

- Excellent drafting/report writing skills

- Demonstrable experience in managing complex tasks and decision making in a fast-paced

environment

Job Description

Knowledge about legislation for food production in the Middle East (GSO);

Experience in development or supervision of Burger, Calibrated and Breaded line;

Manage network with Global Accounts clients and Local Food service chain.

Manage a network of external suppliers and use them as extended resources (technical and product);

Estimate costs, resources, timings and capability required to conduct NPDs and monitor performance to ensure these are implemented;

Developing new products and managing new product development projects, support researching consumer markets, and analyzing the trial results;

Prepare and manage documentations necessaries to production and commercial team, like: Product Specification, Packaging Specification, Commercial Specification, Sensory Specification

Support factory with constantly improvements in our current portfolio

Work close to Procurement team in projects of cost reduction and alternative suppliers for ingredient and packaging;

Work together with the R&D in Brazil and Turkey.

Understand comprehensively the entire footprint from BRF (Brazil, Abu Dhabi and Turkey);

Job Description

Perform routine operational activities receiving guidance.

Assist in one or more processes.

Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines, ensure adherence to BRF Sustainability Plan through activities in its routines that promotes compliance with the indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments of the Company, ensuring the connection between its actions and sustainable development in the BRF chain.

Job Responsibilities

Education

Academic Background

Bachelor degree in food/chemical engineer, food technologist

Desirable requirements

Fluency in English – Portuguese/Arabic is advantage but not a must have;

Middle East Experience;

Excellent communication Skills

Ability to work with multi-cultural teams

Ability to handle and coordinate multiple projects at the same time;

Good understanding of P&l

Technical Skills

Microsoft Office (all);

Power Point;

SAP;

Salesforce

Availability to run trial out of working ours whenever required;

Ready to travel;
