Job Purpose

To be responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of buildings & facilities. They perform analyses of operational processes, resource allocation and energy use, safety processes to recommend and to implement improvements.

Job Responsibilities

H&S and Contract Management

To maintain, test and implement disaster planning procedures to cover all emergencies

Day to day management/supervision of contractors of hard services and soft services

Management of Asset Register and ensuring PPM of the assets are carried out accordingly

Carrying out inspections and condition Audits on service providers and building

 

Statutory maintenance

Ensure that the tower complies with all statutory regulations. All relevant tests and inspections are carried out in accordance with the regulations and records maintained accordingly

 

Fit-out/Small works

Managing the fit out and the alteration process for each property, ensuring always that the works comply with local Authorities

 

Refurbishment works

Plan, organize and deliver projects in liaison with the Property Manager

Prepare scope of works for RFP process

 

Budget

To assist the Property Manager in the financial management of the property through the preparation of service charge budgets, the monitoring of agreed budgets to pre-defined cash limits

 

General

Prepare required reports as required by the management

Compile and record all documentations related to technical aspects of the Tower

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering (MEP background)

Member of a trade association ie MEFMA, BIFM

 

Experience

More than 5 years as Facilities Engineer or similar role managing property

 

Knowledge & Skills

Competent in Microsoft Office Software and CAFM

Ability to interact with staff at all levels

Good interpersonal skills

Maintain high level of confidentiality

Ability to work under pressure

Effective Communication skills

Attention to details

Proficiency in English (spoken and written) / Arabic is an advantage

Customer service oriented

Location – Dubai, UAE

The senior recruiter manager will support the delivery of effective recruitment campaigns and internal resourcing activities across all sectors for Mace in the Middle East.  In this role, you will work with the recruitment team, line managers, and HR business partners to assist with the successful delivery of resourcing plans.

This is a fast-paced role where we manage changing business requirements daily, where your key focus will be to create a best-in-class candidate experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

Being proactively identifying and sourcing candidates for available opportunities.

Ensuring that the placement of internal candidates onto available projects is given priority versus external hiring to minimise overhead costs.

Creating and managing candidate talent pools for future requirements.

Working with candidates and hiring managers to efficiently manage the recruitment process from initial application screening to onboarding/keeping warm communications.

Working with the marketing team to create compelling strategies that attract diverse candidates through all sourcing methods such as advertising, social media, resume searching, and identifying and attending career fairs where appropriate.

Maintaining an effective checking process for all applications including right to work and accuracy of qualifications.

Working on key projects with the broader recruitment team to ensure we are always looking for the best way to find talent for Mace.

Working with external recruitment agencies where required.

About you

You are a recruitment professional who is either looking for their first role in an in-house environment or is seeking a role that combines both external recruitment and internal resourcing. You are passionate about the level of service you provide your candidates and hiring managers and enjoy juggling multiple priorities. Experience in construction, property, or related industries is desirable but not essential.

Contract Type:  Permanent contract

The purpose of this position is to assist the Communications Manager in providing effective technical support to the line maintenance team responsible for all aspects of communications system related maintenance works within the premises of Dubai Metro.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the Communications Manager in preparing the maintenance budgeting, in managing and allocating resources to all aspect of technical support activities within the communications section.

Assist the Communications Manager in overseeing all aspects of technical support activities pertaining to communications section including engineering and maintenance work management, design modification, technical support.

Coordinate maintenance planning & scheduling.

Perform and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the Communications Manager.

Ensure compliance with the Keolis-MHI Management System and all relevant business processes, procedures and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality and governance standards.

Ensure security and integrity of all data provided including reporting performance, finance and customer information; reference Keolis-MHI non-disclosure policy.

To exercise personal duty of care for their own health, safety and welfare and for those affected by their acts or omissions; reference SMS GSOP-HSE1-6 Keolis-MHI organisational HSE responsibilities.

Ensure compliance with all training requirements of Keolis-MHI and ensure adherence to these requirements at all times whilst in employment.

Report any accidents, incidents, breaches or potential breaches to appropriate management or the speak up process.

Use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended and observe that this is also enforced among subcontractors and third parties working in Keolis-MHI’s controlled premises/systems.

Promote a good HSQE and Information Security culture among their peers, subcontractors and third parties.

Lead by example and look at ways to conserve energy, water and resources and minimise the generation of waste through personal performance and raise recommendations on how to improve existing processes on this regard within/outside their departments through their Line Manager, Departmental Safety Meetings and any other appropriate available channels.

Promote a good HSQE and Information Security culture among their peers, subcontractors and third parties.

 

 

KEY SKILLS

First level skilled. At this level might be ex apprentice, will be fully skilled and experienced.

Works independently, in a controlled railway environment; all work is signed off.

Ability to prepare engineering data analysis, reporting, cost estimation, maintenance and testing procedures, equipment specifications, method statements, risk assessments is preferable.

Possess good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Strong organisational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Possess strong PC skills including proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point applications and ability to learn new software based applications.

Ideally a holder of a valid UAE driving license with good driving skills and experience.

 

 

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1 year relevant work experience in the design, testing and commissioning, and maintenance of communications system related works such as radio system, telephone system, multi-service fibre optic network, public address system, CCTV system, passenger information system and operations control system, is preferable.

 

 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFCATION

Ideally a Degree holder or High diploma in communications, electrical or electronic engineering discipline or equivalent.
