Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Market Entry and Operations Specialist to oversee the market entry and setup processes for gas and power markets and exchanges in Continental European. As an expert in energy markets, you will navigate the complexities of market entry requirements and coordinate with regulatory authorities to ensure our ability to trade and conduct business in our current and new markets. This is a remote position with a contract duration of 6 months.

Responsibilities

Oversee the development and implementation of new markets and exchanges Europe to drive our commercial growth.

Analyse registration and external reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with market access obligations, and actively maintain and manage our existing markets.

Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in both new and established markets, monitoring their progress, and maintaining proactive communication with the team and stakeholders.

Ensure thorough process documentation and maintenance throughout the implementation phases, providing relevant information to stakeholders post-implementation, and actively identifying and optimizing processes to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Proven experience in market entry and operations in the gas and power industry.

Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and market structures in Europe.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in project management or supporting implementation projects, as well as developing business cases for new commercial

Accountant / Accounts Executive, Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, UAE

The Accountant / Accounts Executive works within the Finance function focusing on daily operational Finance requirements. The role is tasked with delivering the following key areas:

Management of Accounts Payables. This includes preparation of invoice journals, bank payment vouchers and ensuring all entries are posted correctly.

Ensure all payment are executed as per the approved Delegation of Authority.

Manage PR/PO approval process from a financial accuracy perspective.

Conduct weekly meetings with departments to ensure all issues are addressed.

Responsiveness to emails and inquiries directed towards Finance.

Assist the Finance Assistant Manager / Manager in any other task that may be required.

The position reports to the Finance Assistant Manager / Manager.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements

Ensure suppliers invoices are processed accurately and efficiently and never past the due date.

Maintain invoice register to be accurate and up to date on a daily basis.

Ensure that all PR, PO and invoices are coded correctly and approved in line with the Delegation of Authority

Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services against purchase orders and GRN

Supervise reconciliation of supplier statements on a monthly basis

Ensure accurate Statement of Account for customers are available and up to date

Ensure that all the necessary documents are completed and approved before payments are executed

Ensure new supplier forms are completed for all new suppliers. Securely maintain confidential supplier information and verify change requests from suppliers

Prepare the weekly payment run, ensuring the timing is scheduled to maximize credit terms and submit for approval

Ensure all schedule are accurate and update for month end closing: Amortization, Prepayment, Advances to suppliers, Trade Creditors.

Weekly bank reconciliation to be completed.

Build strong relationships with suppliers and respond to inquiries

Manage month end closing process to ensure timely, accurate financial data that is in compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies

Assist in the internal and external audits as required.

Understands the balance sheet and P/L impact of account activity including classifications of financial statement line items

Identifies ways to improve productivity and data quality and assist in preparing business and process flow documents

Maintenance of accurate Fixed Asset Register and ensure tagging is up to date.

Regular bank, petty cash and credit card reconciliation.

Event Invoicing

DEWA and Etisalat Billing on monthly basis

Required skills + experience

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or closely related field (or equivalent education and experience) is required.

At least 5 years of experience in the Accounts function of which at least 2 years of which should be in a supervisory role

Essential Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Experience with all financial modules of an ERP system

Attention to detail

Time management

Desirable Skills

Experience with SAGE

Position type and expected hours of work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, from 10am to 6pm. Saturdays and overtime might be required during intense periods and/or during special projects and events.

Role Overview

To be considered for this role it is essential that you have CPT or ICD 10 medical coding experience.

The Medical Coder will report directly into the Head of Data Analytics and Projects.

They are responsible for monitoring and improving Bupa Global’s Medical coding information which is to be stored in the PCMS system.

They will ensure best practises for all CPT and ICD 10 coded claims and be able to design and lead on all analysis in the new coding structure. This will support claims payment integrity, provider and partner management and care management activities in the wider HCM team.

They will liaise with the various internal stakeholders in a range of departments to communicate findings and financial impact.

What you’ll do:

To lead on all medical coding developments for the Healthcare Management Team.

To ensure the accuracy and completeness of the clinical coded records which exists within the PCMS system.

To provider expert guidance on medical coding requirements of all HCM linked project work.

To be the go-to expert for all CPT and ICD coding queries.

To conduct analysis of newly coded claims experience, offering insight and opportunities of closer claims management and better customer experience.

Assess providers coding and billing behaviour and develop guidelines to enforce best practices in line with each market standards, common practices and rules and regulations. Ensure that these best practices are followed internally and by service partners.

Propose new ways to improve the foundation of the healthcare providers pricing benchmark by leveraging CPTs information.

Advanced understanding of the various international healthcare system billing standards including DRGs and be the subject matter expert to lead on the technical changes required affecting the processes, technology and people knowledge.

Conduct pricing and financial impact analysis on claims arising from changes related to billing, coding, pricing, and unforeseen crisis.

Support in the measurement of HCM business health indicators agreed with Service Partners, Key Providers, at Benefits & Policy levels as per the standard metrics & ad-hoc needs.

Support the head of networks contracts service charges negotiation with providers and / or target partners to enable access to healthcare, delivering financial and commercial advantage through best price and quality care for our customers. Serve as resource and subject matter expert to other coding staff.

Achieve personal targets and develop pipeline for future activity.

Interface with other teams in HCM to ensure that terms and conditions agreed with our service partners and provider network can be implemented and delivered effectively. Obtain feedback and recommendations from our network partners and disseminate this information within Global to improve the level of service to our customers.

Understand, comply with and abide by the regulatory requirements of relevant markets within the region including, but not limited to, the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).

What you’ll bring:

Strong medical and clinical coding experience - CPT / ICD 10 essential

Perfect command of English, both written and verbal.

Strong commercial knowledge of the health insurance industry; knowledge of healthcare systems, ideally within a global setting.

Strong insight knowledge of regional hospital industry and its pricing and quality dynamics.

Ability to perform medical coding independently, but also experience of managing and overseeing teams of medical coders.

Ability to deliver projects on time, budget and within agreed quality.
