Occupational Health and Safety

100% adherence to SNC-Lavalin global HSE objectives to achieve zero injury incidents and targeted number of perfect days

Driving the Project QHSE Plan including inspections, Safety awareness and trainings, audits, Safe Working Practice (SWPs) & Risk Assessments, Accident & Incident investigations, Safety Incentive Program, Safety Meetings (compliance with the legal requirements) and Emergency Preparedness Planning

Trainings

Develop training QHSE training plan and identify training needs as per QHSE issues observed, reported and recorded at site (i.e. NCs, incidents, near miss, unsafe conditions / behaviors)

Develop and conduct regular toolbox talks as per operational requirements

Monitor sub-contractor trainings to review its effectiveness on site

Incident Reporting and Investigation

Report all incidents to SNC-Lavalin top leadership and KASPARC within 24 hours of the incident occurrence

Investigate the incident to identify root cause analysis and implement corrective / preventive actions

Monitor the implemented correction / preventive actions to review its effectiveness

Sub-Contractor Management

Monitor the sub-contractor activities to verify compliance with SNC-Lavalin and KAPSARC requirements

Ensure that all activities are carried out in safe manner and in accordance with Safe System of Work

Evaluate the HSE performance to reward or to give Safety violation notices as appropriate

Document Control

To prepare and /or review / approve QHSE related documents (i.e. Inspection Forms/Templates, Job Hazard Analysis, Risk Register) and develop documents for other activities as required

Review sub-contractors QHSE plan to liaison with SNC-Lavalin requirements

Manage and follow up all SOP reviews and revisions.

Make sure all statutory requirements are maintained and updated as needed.

QHSE Performance Management

Monitor and mitigate the risks that may affect all project specific KPIs

Periodic monitoring of safety management system using Key Performance Indicators set by Global QHSE Team

Ensure all Employees receive an appropriate level of QHSE training (i.e. To have 100% of our personnel complete the SNC-Lavalin mandatory trainings)

Ensure all corrective actions are effective and completed in a timely manner (i.e. to have 100% of corrective actions closed by the due date)

Create a culture where we visibly display our commitment to working safely (i.e. To have 100% of our personnel complete their HSE Commitment, display it prominently and upload it into Workday)

Project Reports

Submission of weekly and monthly activity report containing QHSE dashboard data to client and corporate

Maintain record of QHSE audits and inspections

Maintain tracker for Behaviour Interaction Program (BIP), Imminent Dangers (ID) and Leadership data

Quality Assurance

Assisting QHSE Manager in conducting audits of subcontractors to ensure consistency in the services.

Job Description:

Provision of professional safety discipline support to the program projects with an emphasis on the safety requirements of the construction department on all construction projects.

Member of the construction department professional staff. reports to the supervisor, safety -construction department.

Job Responsibilities:

Assists the safety Manager construction department in developing/managing and implementing the job site safety program.

Inspects the construction job sites to detect and directs corrective measures for immediate implementation.

Initiates and conducts accident investigations to minimize recurrence and prepares an investigation report of these records.

Documents violations through notes, sketches, photos, and videotapes.

Conducts audits and monitors the safety performance of all construction operations.

Assists Safety Manager and Engineers in identifying and investigating elements of an accident: unsafe conditions and unsafe acts. Record injuries, fatalities and incidence rates.

Inspects work area, machinery, equipment and working conditions for compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) regulations.

Ensures the availability, readiness and proper use of required accident prevention procedures, safety, and fire prevention equipment, PPE and first aid supplies.

Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mech/Elect/Structural Engineering from recognized university with a minimum of 5 year’s post-graduate professional experience in the field of Health and Safety.

OSHA 10 is desirable.

Ability to conduct safety, CPR techniques and first aid training program.

Specific technical requirements are:

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior Safety Engineer in construction operations.

Must have the ability to perform with minimum supervision and work cooperatively with Construction Department staff and contractor personnel.

Provide professional safety support to the Construction Department as necessary during construction phases.

Must have or be able to obtain Saudi Driving License

Must be fluent and be able to effectively communicate in both spoken and written English skills.

Knowledge of computers and basic software applications: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Manager – Business Applications is responsible for the assigned ADGM line of business applications and platforms throughout their life cycle. Providing digitization and automation solutions, develop and maintain business applications and implement innovative solutions to meet ADGM’s customer and business needs while ensuring consistent use of best practice methodologies with timely and effective delivery execution.

Lead internal and external resources from the initiation of an initiative, requirements gatherings, solutioning, delivery, operations and optimization. Ensuring proper maintenance of complete documentation and records of assigned initiatives and projects in multiple views ranging from Executive Summaries through to detailed technical specifications and designs.

Operational

Responsible for planning, coordinating, solutioning, and supervising all activities related to the assigned business applications including software programs, applications, and third-party solutions as required to meet the business requirements of the organization.
Reviews assigned business applications, and designs a technical management strategy to meet operational needs; defines resource requirements, and scope and relative priorities of assigned projects.
Develops assigned business applications; monitors operations and assures the quality of the support services; analyses operational results and develops action plans.

Experience running formal procurement exercises and negotiating resulting contracts for application licenses, implementation and support
