Lead Maintenance Engineer, Wood, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently sourcing for Lead Maintenance Engineer to work on our PMC project in Abu Dhabi for 12-14 months assignment.

Objective:

Execute assigned scopes of work
Generate technical & commercial proposals for new work scopes
Manage teams for task execution
Deliver against project objectives
Act as head of discipline within OMS

Key Accountanbilities

Provide subject matter discipline input and consultancy on maintenance, reliability and asset management work scopes, which may include the following specific activities: maintenance strategy development; critical spares reviews; ISO 55000 framework implementation; maintenance data builds; data cleansing; reliability, availability and maintainability modelling; FMEA/RCM; RCAs; and criticality assessments

Provide technical leadership on assigned maintenance data build, cleansing or optimisation projects
Undertake reviews and peer assists in accordance with OMS
Review and checking procedures
Review and approve assigned Wood deliverables
Ensure self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives, and industry technology developments
Adhere to and comply with relevant discipline specific OMS and client procedures in execution of work activities.
Assign specific tasks to subordinates and manage execution of said tasks in line with established project plan
Implement identified improvements to service execution
Undertake review of peer and junior personnel work in accordance with OMS Review and checking procedure
Provide consultancy technical support to the wider Wood business
Performance Indicators (Indicative)
Repeat custom by means of first class service delivery
Accountable for quality and timely delivery of discipline project deliverables
New custom by means of first class solutions and proposals delivery
Generate technical and commercial work proposals for new business
Provide feedback for continuous improvement of aforementioned procedures, if applicable
Provide discipline technical expertise to the wider Wood business with authority to act as head of discipline within OMS
Provide coaching and mentoring of OMS discipline personnel
Communications & Working Relationships.

Internal

Establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate across the business, project, contract, and discipline interface
Generate and sustain required technical resource capability within discipline.
Networking and knowledge sharing

External:

Maintain awareness of external stakeholders including: industry bodies, academia, vendors, clients, and other CMMS data professionals.

Project execution responsibility as delegated by OMS UK Maintenance Consultancy Manager.

Technical authority within OMS for discipline, including competence assurance for all discipline personnel.

As delegated by OMS UK Maintenance Consultancy Manager and in accordance with Wood limits defined within the Delegation of Authority

Skills / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Time served or degree qualified with industrial experience as a maintenance consultant

Minimum Experience:

Demonstrable balance of industrial experience at relevant level and position

Job-Specific Skills:

Intellectually capable, can apply maintenance consulting theory
Diligent and dependable in consistent application of established process
Professional demeanor with appropriate interpersonal skills
Exceptional written communication [technical report writing]

Role Summary:

The Senior Brand Manager – JOHNSON’S BABY AMET is a key leadership role within JOHNSON’S Baby and the overall Essential Health Franchise. This role involves the leadership of the JOHNSON’S Baby strategic planning, development, and execution of both short and long-term objectives.

Duties And Responsibilities:

Lead and execute JOHNSON’S Baby short & long-term end-to-end strategies for the total Babycare portfolio.
Lead the development of robust and innovative Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) campaigns in close partnership with EMEA Regional Franchise and external agency media & content partners. Influence and shape the regional content & claims to ensure it’s fit for purpose for the AMET cluster.
Lead analysis and execution of total AMET P&L initiatives such as Cost Improvement Plans, portfolio simplification and pricing recommendations.
Overall brand P&L management: STT, NTS, GP, BME, Brand contribution
AMET Tribe Champion – Ensure the needs of the AMET clusters are considered when developing content, claims & innovation. Scale best practice initiatives and content across the AMET cluster.
Lead the 3YOP strategic brand plan development in partnership with EMEA Regional Franchise and AMET sub-clusters.
Partner with the EMEA Regional Franchise on the development of the innovation pipeline & Cost Improvement Plans. Play a critical role in influencing and shaping the future innovation & CIPs for the AMET consumer & customer.

Key Objectives:

Grow the MENA Samsung business by managing the channel and retail strategy execution and building capability across MENA into a key competitive advantage for Samsung.

Essential skills and experience:

At least 10-12 years and above experience in sales operations, account management, and retail marketing experience with experience in managing a team of subordinates
Team-player with strong engagement skills, including at C-suite level
Business experience in the MENA markets
Preferred working experience in multinational Electronics/FMCG in the sales department or retail customer key accounts.
Should have good experience in managing teams of merchandisers in a retail environment
Multi-tasking skills essential to cope during busy and stressful periods.
