OPERATIONS IN UAE

We are looking for a talented individual to join our Manager - Rider Support function within our Rider Operations department. The ideal individual shall be outgoing, ownership-driven with strong relationship management skills, excited about the opportunity to shape this growing function, and data-oriented.

The purpose of this role is to maximise Deliveroo’s fleet productivity through analysis and the development, management, and ownership of rider support actions (training, performance management, direct support, among others) and all its related fronts (special projects). This role owns the Support aspect of Rider Operations for UAE and Qatar.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the Rider Support strategy and initiatives for the UAE and Qatar, which aim to sustainably foster a well performing delivery fleet.
Execute data analysis and optimization tasks related to improving and analyzing fleet performance.
Execute on results as needed and coordinate with other related teams and areas, including instating and communicating corrective actions or rewards.
Manage and scale the Rider Support team, covering tasks such as direct rider off-order support and rider training.
Liaise with other areas in regards to cross-initiatives to optimize rider performance.
Own the rider lifecycle and its related metrics from training onwards.
Liaise with rider-hiring agencies to ensure proper fleet performance and measurement.
Seek standardisation in regards to rider related processes (KPI measurement).
Assist in budget execution and tracking in Rider Support & Engagement related fronts.

REQUIREMENTS

4+ years of relevant professional experience
Proficiency in English (must-have) and Urdu/ Hindi (good-to-have, but not essential).
Proven project and people scaling and management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong sense of ownership of projects, metrics and team. Commitment to goals, area and firm.
Well proven track record of success in a fast-paced working environment. Strong handling of data through G Suite, Excel and/or Looker.

Vistra Middle East is currently recruiting for a Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Senior Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior GRC Consultant will:

Perform the compliance officer, money laundering reporting officer (“MLRO”) and risk manager functions for several DIFC and/or ADGM based regulated financial service providers.

Lead a unit of GRC colleagues and coordinate their client servicing efforts

Establish and maintain relationships with clients, regulators, authorities and business partners

Ensure adequate time registration and communication

Ensure correct and timely clients` invoicing

Organize first line follow-up on outstanding invoices with the clients

Report delivery issues and complaints to the management

Encourage participation in GRC client projects, framework development, regulatory update and quality control projects

Collaborate with the management in

the development of new services

efforts to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Attributes/ Technical Skills:

The Senior GRC Consultant shall demonstrate:

Knowledge and understanding of concepts and regulatory requirements that are common in the financial services industry

Involvement in compliance, MLRO and/or risk management functions at senior management level.

Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues

Team leadership skills

Consultancy skills: ability to communicate with relevant stakeholders (senior management, directors, shareholders, auditors, regulators and authorities) with an appropriate level of diplomacy and solution driven mindset

Attention to detail and quality

Relevant Experience:

Minimum of five years of relevant experience in compliance, MLRO and/or risk management functions at senior management level.

Education and Professional Qualification:

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidates will have a broad range of work, including advising private and public sector clients, funders and consortia on the development and financing of projects across all sectors. As well as advising on the structuring, drafting and negotiation of project agreements and finance documents up to financial close, our work frequently sees us providing advice and support to our clients post-close, including in relation to any refinancings or acquisitions.

ABOUT YOU

We do not set upper or lower limits of PQE for any of our vacancies. We have however given an indicative PQE as an approximate guide for applicants. Candidates who have between 1 and 3 years PQE are likely to have the right level of knowledge and have gained the right level of experience needed to be able to undertake this role. The ideal candidate will:

Be a qualified Solicitor;
Have an interest in the development of renewables, utilities and infrastructure in the Middle East, particularly in relation to sustainable development;
Be experienced in:

o   assisting in the drafting of concession agreements and/or principal finance documents;
