Customer Engagement Manager (CEM/Inside Sales), Rhinestahl Corporation, Dubai, UAE

Overview

 

The Customer Engagement Manager (CEM) is responsible for business development efforts for transactional offerings at Rhinestahl CTS including engine stand leasing, tooling flow purchases, Future Drive, and others. This role will be responsible for all commercial-related activities which include prospecting for new customers in collaboration with Marketing, email and phone engagement to sell transactional offerings, follow-up on flow quotes to seek a win and identifying and securing engine stand leasing customers in region. This role is a critical member of the CTS Commercial team and the successful candidate will possess and demonstrate a results-oriented mindset and can-do behaviors. The role will carry a bookings goal and be responsible for achieving sales-focused metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with RCMs, Marketing and Program Teams to understand commercial strategies and define customer segments to target
  • Meet and exceed order bookings goals as established from new tooling and services.
  • Engage with and educate customers on Rhinestahl CTS offerings and develop/share insights from customer feedback.
  • Assist in the identification and development of inside sales processes and best practices including feedback on the standard cost; market pricing engine, reporting, and Salesforce.
  • Conduct prospecting activities to identify new potential customers using tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator and enter into Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on designing and executing email and nurturing programs for prospective customers.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers through superior service, quick turnaround on requested quotes and execution on commitments.
  • Actively manage transactional opportunities through all stages of the sales funnel in Salesforce, effectively quote through Epicor and provide timely and accurate order bookings forecast.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar field of study
  • 2-3 years of professional sales, customer support or business development
  • Demonstrated capability to engage customers and present a value proposition
  • Self-motivation to research, find and engage new customers regardless of roadblocks
  • Experience developing/maintaining trusted relationships.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels inside and outside the organization.
  • Results oriented – driven to produce positive results
  • Negotiation and business transactional skills.
  • Self-discipline to manage time and priorities.
  • Sales experience in aircraft GSE and/or tooling and related services.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM system is a plus.
  • Required travel to customers and/or trade shows 10% annually.

JOB TITLE: Deputy Manager – HSE Design

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for producing deliverables such as HSE design basis, philosophies, study reports (FERA, CFD, EERA, QRA, RAM, EIA) equipment specifications, P&ID, layouts, datasheets, hazardous area schedule, fire & gas mapping, F&G layout, performing firewater hydraulics, sizing fire water pump, designing deluge / spray system, procuring gas suppression system etc.
  • Organize and participate in workshops such as HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP, FMECA, RAM, SIL, Bow-Tie, SCE PS, ALARP, PHSER, SIMOPS.
  • Provide inputs like spacing, building locations, PFP requirement, blast requirement, sterile distance, stack / vent height, Hazardous Area Classification, Fire and Gas detection etc.
  • Coordinate with other discipline and work center Engineers and ensure that the HSE requirements / study recommendations are implemented in the project design.
  • Prepare /review inquiry requisitions, technical bid evaluations and purchase requisitions for specialist studies as well as safety and firefighting equipment.
  • Responsible for coordination with client, regulatory authorities, Consultants, who are assigned to perform specialized studies, 3rd party certifying agencies, consortium partners, subcontractors, other discipline engineers and Project team.
  • Prepare and monitor the schedule and ensure the project design activities completes within the allotted manhours and schedule.
  • Arrange / participate in FAT, SAT and commissioning of fire protection and safety systems.
  • Support the construction and commissioning field queries with justification note and calculations.
  • Review and approve vendor drawings and ensure the timely delivery of the documents.
  • Participating in cross-functional and inter-office meetings to provide design inputs to Engineering team.

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with 15+ years of years of loss prevention and safety experience working as a Lead for EPC company.
  • Experience in design of firewater system, F&G system, Fire proofing, Hazardous area, managing safety study and environmental reports in FEED/ Detailed Design for oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, fertilizer industry.
  • Conversant with software like PHAST/ FRED, SAFETI, Bow-Tie, Flaresim, Detect3D, Pipenet, ExSILentia.
  • Good knowledge of international safety standards and practices.
  • Good presentation, training and communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong time management skills including ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.

Key Accountabilities

  • Developing and preparing Tender Plans, Pre-construction programs / Labor Histograms.
  • Develop Baseline Program including EPS, OBS, WBS, Phasing / Zoning Strategy Plan and Key Dates/ Milestones, of the project assuring that the Program is fulfilling all the contractual requirements.

  • Developing Cost Breakdown Structure and produce the project cash flow, making sure that the project is always within the budget / Cost control.
  • Proactively monitoring the overall Work progress & Contractors Performance.
  • Review the progress status reports of all the contractors on board.
  • Prepare and issue monthly reports of project progress.
  • Update & monitor the overall Baseline Schedule & Key Dates.
  • Preparation and updating of S-Curves, Resources Histogram and monthly Cash Flow.
  • Managing the programs Resources Histograms, monitoring the progress against Planned Figures and realized benefits as the program progresses.
  • Responsible for supporting the Planning Manager, highlighting the areas of concerns, Issues or order to take corrective actions and implementing the preventive actions in order to avoid similar issues in the future.
  • Review of major scope changes, ensuring that any impact on time is assessed.
  • Responsible for assessing time extension requests and provide recommendations against the same.
  • Travel to the Abu Dhabi site offices for visiting the projects / updating the progress when its needed
  • Preparation of Time Impact Analysis Assist in developing and implementing field location emergency response procedures and evacuation plans

Skills & experience

  • Computer Literate with the Following Softwares: Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Office and Power Point
  • Holder of a valid UAE driving license
  • Background in Construction / Fit out Works

Qualifications

  • Recognized qualification in Building Services Engineering or other appropriate engineering subject is preferred. Candidates without formal engineering qualifications may be considered if they have acquired sufficient experience (minimum 4 years in the role of a relevant construction management position) to demonstrate competence in the skills necessary to fulfil the role.

Operations Executive, Majid Al Futtaim, Dubai, UAE

Role Purpose:

 

The position is mainly responsible for effective coordination and administration of daily operational tasks / activities concerning to Centre maintenance and up keep, supporting redevelopment projects and Centre preventability in the assigned Centre ensuring high level of operational support is provided to Mall Management and tenants in a timely manner.

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

 

Attend to tenant queries in the assigned Centre on stock taking, visual merchandising, delivery of materials, store maintenance and minor store renovation works. Forward to security control the Management approval / permission to conduct required works in the store.
Coordinate with the concerned SMBU departments for the issues to be resolved i.e. mall defects, rectification work, fire & safety, security, maintenance, cleanliness and other Centre issues raised by the Senior / Manager Operations on their daily inspection / walk-about.
Assist the Senior / Manager Operations in reducing operating cost and ensure that the total operating expenses in the assigned Centre should remain within the budget.
Ensure that all Capex and planned maintenance programs for the assigned Centre are executed on a timely basis and in accordance with the agreed plan to keep the highest operating standards.
Coordinate with Procurement COE in regards to the tendering process for all jobs assigned to be carried out by operations team.
Issue letters / notifications in advance to tenants for all related access to tenancies, shutdowns and temporary closure of certain areas of the Centre.
Secure tenants' approval for off-mall hours’/night access works to enable Engineering Department’s maintenance works on regular basis and maintain updated individual record/files on tenant’s fit-out, projects, contractor's/suppliers costs, lease outline drawings (LODs) etc.
Monitor the performance of all soft services contractors in the assets and ensure they are fully compliant with their SLA contractual obligations. Report any breech or variation to the Operations Manager.
Carry out routine inspection checks for different aspects of the assets (loading bays, back of houses, parking, washrooms, food courts, public corridors, storage, tenancies, Mall peripherals, rooftops, plant rooms etc)
Provide all relevant information and documentation during the Operations Audit process (Fire, Health & Safety, Security, FM etc.). Ensure finding of the Audit process is implemented within the agreed timeline.
Ensure the contractors working in the mall common areas and in fit-outs are inducted on the Mall Fire, Health and safety regulations.
Obtain comparative cost for small works in the assigned Centre as per established procedure and prepare PAR for approval.
Assist the Operations manager in improving the scores of Consumer Journey NPS and Facilities Mystery Shopping Results
Assist the Operations manager in implementation of the sustainability targets set out by the Management in the assigned Mall.
Provide all necessary data / reports on a periodic basis pertaining to Centre operations to the Senior / Manager Operations for review, resolution of issues and prompt decision making.
Ensure compliance with the MAFP SMBU’s Code of Conduct, Departmental policies and HC Policies and Procedures at all times.
Be the advocate and ambassador of aligning and cascading the MAFP values across SMBU and ensure that it is adhered to and exhibit the same all the time.

Minimum Qualifications/education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
 

Minimum experience

Minimum 3 – 5 years’ work experience in reporting, processing of POs / invoicing and payments and maintaining budgets and Centre administration preferably in a reputed Retail / Shopping Mall in GCC or abroad.

A Front Office Manager supervises the Front Office Team to ensure that Team Members are prepared and well-informed to deliver our Guests an exceptional experience from check-in through check-out.



What will I be doing?

As Front Office Manager, you will oversee the Front Office Team which is the main connection between the Guest, the hotel, and the various hotel departments. A Front Office Manager is responsible for managing the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Oversee the entire Front Office operation to maintain high standards
  • Evaluate levels of Guest satisfaction and monitor trends, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ensure regular and VIP Guests are recognised and that the Front Office department operates with a sales attitude and promotes the hotel brand's loyalty scheme
  • Maximise room occupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
  • - Set departmental objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the Front Office Team Members with an emphasis on training and teamwork
  • Ensure Team Members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local area, and are continuously trained to learn and understand policies and practices
  • Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel departments
  • Monitor staffing levels to meet cover business demands
  • Conduct monthly communication meetings and produce minutes
  • Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Recruit, manage, train and develop the Front Office team
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems
  • Assist with other departments, as necessary
What are we looking for?

Front Office Managers serving Hilton brands are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years of Front Office supervisory experience in the hotel, leisure, and/or retail sector
  • High level of IT proficiency
  • High level of commercial awareness and sales capabilities
  • Experience of managing people and developing people
  • Previous experience of managing a department and Profit and Loss account
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Accountable and resilient
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Familiar with Property Management Systems
  • A degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
