Amazon is looking for a Program Manager in the Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) team to drive improvements in operations and inventory quality in our evolving Amazon Fulfillment Centers (FC) of the rapidly growing MENA Market.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Benchmark organization, process and performance across MENA Operations and engage with all key stakeholders to create a compelling ICQA plan for MENA Operations.

Drive the creation of MENA ICQA Standard Work, quality initiatives, process changes to enable ICQA and ultimately the Fulfillment Centers (FC) to meet and exceed Business Plans.

Reduce and eliminate administrative burden on ICQA teams in fulfillment centers by eliminating manual research and data entry in favor of automated systems

Develop and maintain programs and tools used by ICQA teams to manage quality such as ad-hoc Queries, Data Capture portals, Metric automation based on EU needs.

Work with MENA Program team to drive roll-out of available tools to the region.

Develop review and analysis of customer defect data with development of corresponding action plans to reduce defects.

Work closely with other MENA central functions to secure support and resources for business wide projects and initiatives.

Travel to MENA countries to evaluate and ensure compliance of IC/QA initiatives.

Will install proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across MENA

Be responsible for the overall coordination and evaluation of MENA projects

About the team

In order to provide better customer experiences, it is critical to maintain a high-level operational quality in the Fulfillment Centers (FCs), which are close to our customers. ICQA's mission is to achieve defect-free operations from inbound process to outbound process by reducing defects through various initiatives such as work process improvement, training, and coaching. By doing so, we are aiming at improving speed which products are ready for sale to customers, reduce operating costs, offer a wider selection of products, and reduce waste, thereby continuing to earn the trust of our customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Inventory & Quality Assurance Management, with the proven ability to show improvement in a continually developing environment

Experience in the analysis of defect data and defect reduction planning

Strong analytical, mathematical and data analysis capability

Experience with Operational Excellence (Six Sigma), Data Warehouse (DSS), Excel

Advanced Excel skills required

Demonstrate strong track record of team leadership within a large scale rapid and process driven environment

Candidates will be degree qualified in Operations, Engineering, Logistics or similar.

Receive and segregate inspection requests.

Contact customer to understand access / inspection requirements (passes, PCR, etc.) - (Within 1 day from receiving inspection request).

Coordinate with customer, sales team, Supply chain & OSL to schedule and conduct inspection.

Need to improve the submission time of jobs reports as discussed earlier and we already reduce the time for that.

Prepare comprehensive site inspection report with all required details, findings, customer requests, recommendations, etc. (Within 1 day from inspection date).

Need to explain to estimation any requirement / challenges at site have a meeting to clear all technical aspects if required.

Maintain and update jobs inspections log, progress and issue’s.

Communicate with customer on site to clarify requests if any, and explain same to OSL.

Understand inspection policy and adhere to same During the inspection EH&S requirements to be considered and mentioned in inspection report.

Execution:

Support Sales team at tender stage for any installation related requirement (MOS, tentative schedule, EHS plan, etc.) Upon receiving notification of job release:

Verify units selection against site requirement and confirm availability of space, power, water flow, air flow , etc. and confirm to coordinator to place units order.

Study Carrier scope and advise inspection / sales team for missing required scope.

Ensure all documents related to scope is considered (Contracts, payment terms, penalty terms, compliance sheet, etc.).

Instruct coordinator to send PR for OSL works.

Initiate kickoff meetings with sales, control, svc team and with customer.

Communication / coordination with customer representative for site related activities.

Ensure all requirement to start work are obtained (Submittal approval, MOS approval, Risk assessment approval, work schedule, passes, permits, etc.)

Assist supply chain in finalizing OSL if required.

Ensure to periodically review ETA and progress of work to match submitted Meeting with OSL and ensure scope is well understood and then conduct site meeting with customer to understand work plan and requirement.

Communication with customer for all requirements Ensure execution as per MOS & standard practice.

Ensure to have weekly site meeting with customer to update Inspect material before delivery and ensure compliance to approved material submittals.

Ensure only qualified OSL individuals to conduct work Target zero variations during execution through intensive review of scope, material and all jobs documentation.

Maintain proper record, reports, documentations, letters, etc. during execution Strict adherence to agreed payment terms milestones.

Continuous monitoring of PO tracker and changes on delivery dates. If any major change occurs, need to discuss with direct manager immediately.

Notify sales team in advance to collect payments according to agreed milestones Provide monthly accurate jobs FC with zero tolerance.

Ensure timely job completion with highest standards possible Ensure strict adherence to EHS policy and report incidents / violations to direct manager Weekly update on FC and jobs progress.

Ensure all major activities are attended by Carrier staff Coordinate and conduct meetings with control, sales, svc , OSL, supply chain as required to ensure timely job completion.

Prepare final handover inspection with customer and OSL and ensure to close snags before job completion date Ensure handover file is prepared and all closing documents to be prepared on 1 file. This file to be shared with Direct manager, sales team & Coordinator (File contents to be formalized for all jobs, please discuss with direct manager).

Obtain customer signature on job completion document.

Job Title: Specialist Commissioning

Reports To: Global Field Services Manager

Position Summary

Provide commissioning and start-up management assistance to our customer’s in order to maintain integrity and high quality of our engineered product equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Manage start-up and commissioning of sold units and build-own-operate equipment; ensure all required documentation is in place for customer/O&M handover
Maintain a current HYSIS and evaluate process equipment flow diagrams for consistency and contractual recoverable obligations
Ensure that client engineering services on-site are apprised of any special protocols that might be needed to evaluate the equipment and/or plant performance
Analyze repetitive occurrences and provide technical solutions to commissioning team and customer
Facilitate commissioning schedule and direct daily work activities of team members
Provide detailed commissioning progress reports to Exterran field & corporate offices
Revise level-4 scheduling and add resources where needed to ensure contract milestones are up to date
