Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of pre and post contract administration for different contract types (re measure and lump sum is essential)
Preparing / reviewing the Bills of Quantities
Verify and certify consultants' and contractors' interim applications for payment and issue payment certificates
Review and assess consultants' and contractors’ claims
Review and assess Extension of Time claim in coordinate with the planning engineer and as directed by the Project Manager
Participation in site visits & preparation of reports as directed by the project manager
Ensure the submission of consultants' and contractors’ insurances/bonds in accordance with the contract
Assist in the close out procedure and prepare the consultants' and contractor’s final account
Ensure completeness and validity of contractual requirements.
Ensure prompt submittal and completeness of valuations.
Check and record measure of work done..
Review, negotiate and prepare claim settlements.
Perform other duties associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity or Building Surveying or Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
A minimum of 13 years relevant quantity surveying experience in large projects.
Knowledge of pre and post contract administration.
Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work independently.
Good oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Arabic is a must.
Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff
Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required

Position Objectives:

The Project Control Manager is overall responsible for all Project Control activities in the Project.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Manage the assigned Project Control resources, and allocate tasks and responsibilities for project control tasks.
Initiate and chair regular meetings with all involved parties to coordinate practical project control Issues to ensure the timely and orderly execution of the work.

Support cross-function team in RFI/RFP, Contracts and Price benchmarking.
Manage and Control Project budgets and financial closeouts
Issue periodic Vendor performance evaluation report
Manage and control project/program reports and dashboards
Monitor analytics and metrics results
Implement new data analysis methodologies
Reporting, online analytical processing, analytics, dashboard development, data mining, process mining, complicated event processing, business performance management, benchmarking, text mining, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics KPIs and performance reports
Establish routines and guidelines for preparing project reports, with a special focus on up-to-date project status, project delays, blocking issues, and corrective actions; ensure that results are timely and correctly presented and explained to the Client in the required format, quantity, and quality.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in Project Control Management and 3 years in Contract Management positions.
Certified professional PMP/Prince2
Certification in lean six sigma GB or above will be an advantage
Certification in Data sciences will be an advantage
Formal Contract Management Training will be an advantage
Strong experience in Project Management, Control activities, Budget Management, and Reporting templates.
Hands-on experience with project communication standards.
Experience in establishing processes to manage and control the flow of documents in the project.
Proficient with MS Office suite particularly with Excel, PowerPoint
Proficient with creating PowerPoint reports with the ability to tailor the story per audience.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English language.
Good knowledge of executive management reporting, presentations and dashboard concepts with good analytical skills in MS Power BI
